Handy and portable

This is a very nice tuner to have if you can't be bothered to plug into a proper one. I like the look of it, I like the feel of the button and the display is big and crisp. Very easy to read. However, it doesn't get a full score from me because it doesn't always give me a good reading of the correct notes. I attach it to the headstock of my electric guitar, pick the a-string, and instead of showing me that I'm a few cents sharp off of an A, it will show me that I am a few cents flat off of a B, and I'll turn the tuning screw and it will suddenly flash green when it is a perfect A before suddenly changing to a B flat that is a few cents off. So that is frustrating. But it's a really good price and it other times it works great. Maybe it depends on the guitar, it seems to happen more often on my Explorer than on my Les Paul.

Classic

Literally the basic, yet still efficient.

Great deal

Have one since 4 years, still works fine.

Good for the price

It's pretty decent, especially for the price. There is a delay between tuning a string and continuing with the next string as you have to wait for it to reset.

Can't complain for the price though

Not the most accurate thing

Its cheap, it gets the job done but its not very accurate and pleasing to use.

It has 3 modes, one for bass and 2 for guitar: a simple EADGBE tuner and a chromatic tuner for alternate tunings, nice but the its very inacurate specially on the chromatic side if you down tune, it just keeps on wondering without giving you immediate and exact result. Its cheap so i guess its ok, but i would not rely on this tuner if like me you use alternative tunings.

Still going strong after 7 years

Bought this 7 years ago and it's still performing really well. A couple of replacement batteries in that time. It has good build quality and I haven't had any problems with it. Because this is small, sleek and easy to use this is usually the first tuner I reach for.

Extreme Value

Pros:

- Works

- Includes a battery

- Looks fantastic

- Screen changes from blue to Green when in tune, great for use in dark areas.

Cons:

- Doesn't continually monitor the string like a Snark

Conclusion:

Considering the cost of this unit, and the fact that it actually works is a huge consideration if you are on the fence about buying this tuner. If you are used to tuners like the Snark, then this will be a bit of a learning curve for you, but once you get used to it, it works great. I bought this for my grandson, he can buy a fancier tuner later if he wants, but if he can learn how to use this tuner, he'll be able to use anything.

A little slow reacton ( YOU must hit string a little stronger) but all together is a good value for that money….IT works o.k. AND helps me tuning my Guitar

Sturdy , great grip to the headstock

Easy to clip on solid on and tune your bass quickly. What more do we need?

It's cheap but...

I use it with electric bass. It does its job but it is a bit slow and some times it is having a hard time to catch the vibration especially of the "E" string. The clip is ok, it stays in its place and the screen turns from blue to green when you are in tune.

If you want a reliable - more "professional" tuner you should think about spend some more and look somewhere else.

Very Functional

I bought this as part of a package (guitar, bag and tuner). It suits my needs perfectly. Works as expected. I can recommend this product.

Good price/quality ratio

It might not be the absolute best clip tuner out there but it get's the job done (a good one IMHO). Battery life is good, display is clear and visible and switching between modes is easy.
