Thomann CTG-10 Clip Tuner Reviews
Unreliable
Simply doesn't pick up the strings. I had another simple clip on tuner for years, which worked flawlessly.
Cheap and cheerful
Got this for my son.. no problem with it so far.. would buy again
Spend more time trying to find a sweet Spot for it to work correctly on e guitars
Get your self in TUNE
It does the job as expected.... accurate and easy to use ...
Real nice tuner.
It dos what its supossed to do.
Jittery and unreliable
Don't buy this tuner ~ I found it pretty jittery and unreliable when tuning my banjo. It's very easily knocked out of whack by environmental sound, no good at a gig!
Excellent tuner
This has a bright easy to use screen. Can be twisted around so suitable for us left_handers. Battery seems to last a long time
Its good
Good little tuner, not very sensitive. You sometimes have to play louder on certain strings for the tuner to respond properly. Change the battery often and it works well. Perfect for a beginner.
ottimo accordatore
ottimo accordatore, per chitarra e basso, peccato non abbia l'ukulele ma non ci si può lamentare!
Good value but...
Good value, but I would suggest the CTC-50 model which is more reliable and better quality.
Somedayâ¦
Hello,
I sent this along with a guitar, gig bag, etc. as a gift and never had a chance to use it. After 2 years I will finally be able to see my brother in law in person and use the tuner. I’ll let you know then what my thoughts are, lol!
Thanks!
Sve štima s ovim štimerom
Malen, jeftin i radi dobro.
Cheap, but unfortunately not really usable
I’ve owned Clip tuners before and their operation was super easy - hit a string, tuner picks up the note, and as you tune the led needle goes sharp or flat until you’re spot on.
This one is suppose to do the same, but unfortunately as you tune it doesn’t keep that note ‘alive’ on screen so you can’t see if you go up or down, and definitely can’t see when you’re in tune. You have to keep stroking that same string again and again to see how far you’ve come along towards that green confirmation that you’re in tune.
It also doesn’t even pick up the right string most times, which is really strange and frustrating.
Maybe mine is defected, who knows, I’ve seen some really good reviews here, so hopefully no one else has that problem. I guess you could expect that for the very cheap price.
Nice tuner
Decent quality, does the job and it's cheap! No problems
Beautiful, but ...
Beautiful with nice lighting and easy handling.
It has a problem with the harmonics and you can not easily tune the instrument, especially the bass strings
This is a pretty good cheap guitar tuner. Sometimes it does not immediately determine the 6th string.
A bit slow.
It does the job but response is a bit slow, so tuning takes some more time and gets annoying. I like the green light when in tune.
Does the job
It's cheap and it does the job. What more can you get for less than 5 EUR?
Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Great little tuner. Clip to the headstock and away you go. So good my son borrowed it snd never gave it back....
Price - quality OK
Does what you expect it to do, and for the price you couldn't really ask for more. Biggest con for me is it sometimes takes a while to recognize the right string.
Altogether I can recommend for home use.
