Adam T7V Reviews
Best monitoring for the price (IMO)
I use these for home studio (12 square meters). Very clrear sound, transparent highs and full lows. Pros: 1) ribbon tweeter - is the best fit for me, I can work with it for 8 hours straight. 2) 7inch woofer - gets quite low. Cons: Maybe transients are a little not as clear as I would like them to be, but they exist :)
Great for a high-amateur level production/mixing, home studio for the price.
Adam T7V are amazing

Perfect
Very good quality and design for the price. Good and clear sound.
Amazing!
it worth the money!!
Great sound from ADAM
The speakers sound great. It is a pleasure to mix on them. The only con is that the led that indicates ON/OFF is at the rear, but it is not a big deal. You also have an option for freq change.I love how they look and how they sound!
Great "Hi-Fi" speakers, poor studio monitors
I bough this monitors for my home studio and I create mainly country/rock/metal songs. I was picking between these and Yamaha HS 7 in this price range, which I know very well since my friend owns them for a long time. We compared them and they are very different; here is why.
Features:
Points Im about to make are expressed in many online reviews, so Im going to be short. Speakers are kinda bulky in size, compared to Yamaha, but they also have 0,5" bigger speaker. Volume knob is in the back, and 0dB position is on a weird spot (like 2 o`clock) and with NO NOTCH, so its difficult to know where you are. There are HF and LF +/- 2 dB corrections and a power on light IN THE BACK, which is just not practical.
Quality:
Very well build, no problems here.
Sound:
Here we go. A lot of people find this monitors to be more like Hi-Fi than monitors, and I agree. When you compare them to Yamahas and listen to some produced music, they sound lively and not dull in comparison. But when you mix music and compare to Yamahas or different speakers (car, headphones,...), you see that Adams portray mix much nicer than it really is. On them, guitars sound rich and full, bass is just at a right spot, drums are very articulate and so on. But other sources show that guitars are dull, bass is to low because Adams project too much bass, drums get covered up and so on. Yamahas show all that, and those corrections in the mix would be possible listening on them.
So in conclusion, Adams are great for producing to give you a nice feeling when composing. For mixing, I wouldnt pick them over Yamaha HS7 in this price range. Feature flaws are kind of embarrassing for company like Adam, but the build quality is very nice. Maybe EDM and hardbass guys find these monitors usefull due to extended bass range, but for a guitar/drums/bass/vocals music I dont reccomend them.
Best sounding speaker I've had so far
The T7V's sound is accurate, controlled and extremely detailed, allowing you to hear absolutely everything in your mix. build quality is excellent. They can easily compete with much more expensive speakers in the market. Overall i am very happy with the purchase, top end product for a low end price. I would definitely buy again for the quality/price ratio.
Great for price range
Overall, I am very satisfied for a few reasons:
1) First of all, I did not have to get used to them. Right after unboxing and installing, I played some of my favorite tracks and the response these speakers can offer is very "honest", clear and precise.
2) The low range (bass frequencies) is present, tight and full. Differently from the more expensive models, they are not overwhelming generous of low frequencies, which is not a bad thing.
3) Powerful enough to sonically fill without distortion a medium sized room.
4) Mid range is nice and flat, while the high range sounds great thanks to the proprietary Adam ribbon tweeter, smooth and precise, not tiring to the ears.
CONS:
1) Front bass reflect would have been better placed at the front, instead of at the rear.
2) Led on the rear does not bother me much, but surely it would be better to have it at the front.
OVERALL: I would buy again for the quality-price ratio
Sounds great!
I like the details in this monitor and the bass is really balanced!
Adam T7V
Very good music quality . high bass level
OK
First off; I think overall these are good speakers for the money.
The only thing they are lacking is a bit of bite in the midrange.
I use them primarily for tracking instruments & producing in general (in conjunction with a pair of avantone mixcubes) and they do their job well. But I really wouldn't want to mix an on them.
Insane sound for that little price!
No words. The sound is just spectacular. I can hear all the details and also the frequency response is very flat and good for mixing. I'm impressed. I'm sure my mixes will sound better now

Amazing speakers for their price. Actually ive tried them all - focal alpha 50 /65 (boombox hi fi type of sound), KRK rockit G4 (new model) - same pillowish krk sound with muffled lows and low mdrange, Yamaha HS7 - sounds too unnatural and harsh, Makie MR624 - loq build quality and more hi fi sound, and others in the under 550 eur price range. Adams are total winner: clear sound, good for mixing, punchy bass and low mid territory, exeptional high frequency reproduction.
well built, high quality monitors with very clear sounds
The monitors arrived quickly and well packed, they are built very professionally with insanely good quality sounds.
Im very satisfied with my purchase.
Good for everyday work.
I got a pair of these to work on every day basis as an addition to ancient M-Audio BX8 Studiophiles (1st series from 2004, their best!), which sounds bit more like Yamahas and lead to ear fatigue.
T7V is a real opposite. The sound is clear enough to mix.
Bass is hyped a bit, but it is ok. I can work for hours on these without any ear bleeding.
Feature wise.. not much, really. They cant handle +4db balanced signal and distort, forced to switch to -10. PWM amplifier is not a bad thing after all, but it crackles when setting levels.
Excellent!
I am playing the piano for about 17 years and I just got(2 years) into music production. I bought the monitors about 3 weeks ago and I listen to music and produce every single day. They are extraordinary. I wish I could buy them earlier, but I couldn't get them. They sound very crisp, especially the high end. I use them in an (almost) acoustically treated room. To get the best sound you must arrange them properly. I was curious and put them horizontally on stands but they didn't sound good. As someone else already said, I don't really understand why would put the lights that shows you is on, on the back?! That's not really a problem for me, though.
Love it more than my KRK
Love it more than my KRK! KRK sold!
