Alesis Nitro Mesh Kit Reviews
Amazing beginner e-drum kit
Look, it’s a beginner drum kit.
I play bass for 10 years and guitar for 6. I decided to learn something new to keep myself occupied.
I didn’t want to spend too much money because I didn’t know if I’m gonna like it, and I decided for this kit because it was in the middle of all the other ones sold here.
Assembly: Everything came nicely packed in a box, and with instructions assembly was easy.
Quality: It’s a bit wonky, not gonna lie. Make sure you tighten everything, but it will still be a bit unstable. It won’t fall but it will be wonky.
Bass drum pedal has a lot of sway, which is fine for a cheaper e kit, but just giving you heads up.
I only had problem once in a month that I had it, the hi hat didn’t register my drumming, but I just restarted the kit and it worked.
Features: It has bunch of drum sounds and you can connect it to a PC. Not much I can say about this.
Playability: The drum heads are a bit small. If you got used to big heads, this will need a but of getting used to. They are super quiet tho. Foot pedal isn’t. Put some kind of matt under the pedal and it will be quiet. Otherwise it is all quite close to one another so you don’t have to move much, but you need time to get used to it.
Sound: Sounds like drums.
I would say there is no choke on the crash, but everything else is perfectly fine. Whoever you buy it for, kid, yourself to learn or whatever, you will be happy with this kit. It’s super fun entry to drums. Learn on this for a year or two and then switch to something more expensive.
A good product
Good for the price but the legs are a bit wobbly. I bought it teach on and it does the job perfectly
love it!
The Alesis Nitro Mesh Kit offers exceptional playability, with responsive mesh heads providing a realistic drumming experience. Packed with a plethora of features, it stands out for its versatility and functionality. While the sound quality is commendable, leaning towards the medium range, the overall build and quality of the drums are impressive, ensuring a durable and reliable kit for drum enthusiasts.
Recommendable
Really good for beginners like me.
Kid has been very happy
Bought a set for starting drummer for his first set. Since acoustic drums were out of question we browsed through multiple cheaper sets and ended to Alesis Nitro Mesh.
Drummer has been Very happy with the set and he can use it with ease. And even though there are coutless hours of usage, haven’t had any issues with the set.
Good price-quality rate
A good price-quality for the range of price, stable enough and fun to play, yet still not a high-end result.
Great beginner set or for someone looking to get back into drumming
Bought this after having not played drums for a while, and was really satisfied. The drums are well built and of good quality. The built in sounds are abysmal, but apparently most e-drums come with bad built in sounds, and it doesn't bother me because I use a drum VST. The drum pads are pretty small which limits playability, but the mesh heads and good quality make up for that.
Impressive
Not a top-notch one, but nonetheless can give u the sound u are looking for. Very engaging to use. For the price, its really worth it.
best for beginers
could not want more form a kit for a beginer
Overall
Great for the price. Rack could be better.
Doesn’t take a lot of space. Very sensetive pads. A lot of sounds. Perfect for training.
Good
It is a good edrum for small performance ,home use,anf studio .you cant definetly use it. I recomend you tou use it a good product . Better off bold it to the ground and it will be better . And also good price
Great kit, needs a bigger snare
My first edrum kit after having only played on acoustic my whole life.
Starting off the build is OK for the money. You get what you pay for.
The pads do not go very high off the rack so you can't easily build an acoustic spaced set out of the box. The rack also moves slightly when played, but this is really not bad enough to be a problem. I put my kit on memory foam yoga mats, up against the wall. This way it dampens the noises into the wood floor nicely and the kick does not slide. No need for expensive isolated drum mats. The kick pedal feels fine and the hi-hat pedal feels like air, but it does the job. The main features of this kit are full mesh heads, the kick tower and a decent module.
The mesh heads are excellent and tunable to tightness. Feels real enough to me! I have been playing daily since it arrived. The drawback is the head rims are rather thick, so you have to angle the pads more to use a natural stroke while not hitting that massive rim on the 8" pads. I've also used a spare snare stand to help with positioning, because the big-rim-small-pad problem is worst on the snare. I feel like I will upgrade to something 10" on the snare very soon. The cymbals are very basic, and the pinch-mute does not really work unless you get the exact spot. It all does the job. They do tend to come loose while playing, so grab some loctite.
On the drum module.
I did some playing along with external music, the built-in demo jam songs, I created some custom kits, once you read the manual everything is easy to find and the buttons on the interface feel surprisingly good. I'm very satisfied with the features, external input works great. The headphone amp could use a little more oompf, so I'm using a spare amp for the headphones. The sound of the kit is very nice, not too artificial and you can customize all the sounds pretty well.
Concluding. Yes, this is the cheapest kit with mesh heads and a kick tower I could buy. Yes, it works great and you can tune everything to be near perfect for you with a little bit of patience. I highly recommend this for drummers like me who have experience playing, and just need something to practice in their apartment. For completely new drummers, it should be great too.
I don't think you can get for the price
Using this for about 6 months now and they are working flawlessly. The module provide tons of settings to change the type of sound output. Doesn't occupy much space and can be dismantleed easily which is convenient as I change places often. Overall, very satisfied with the drumkit.
.Loving it, great for price
Liked it a lot, the pad material is better than I expected. Only two things I didn't like is that I haven't found sounds that I really like, and that the assembly was a bit complicated to figure out. Other than that great buy!
Good option for price range
For this price range, it is a good option
It could has better construction
I've bought it for my wife and she is happy with features and sound. But construction is a bit shaky. There is need additional crossbars i believe. I've made them on my own and now there is no risks of falling.
Süper
Çok güzel bir bateri kullanışlı çalması eğlenceli ses olarak süper meshler çok hassas on numara beş yıldız bir ürün herkese tavsiye ederim
lovely kit
this is this the first e kit i have since switching from acousting,i cant recommend this enough
Amazing price vs. performance for beginner
Purchased as my first drum kit. Started playing this year and wanted something at home, can't take acoustic drums as i am living in apartment and this is great alternative. Simple to set up, easy to adjust - all i need now to practice at home. I am 169cm tall and this is perfect to my height, heard that for some it is too short. Many features in drumset, i am not even using all. Definitely recommend as this might be best for such price. For some drum lip could make playing harder as stick can hit lip first, but i do not find it as that much of a trouble.
best one you can buy for that price
the best electronic drum machine you can get for that price! everyone agree on that.
