Budget basic interface

This is my first audio interface and I am pleased with the latency and sound quality. Feels solid and well made for the price.

I had some trouble with the drivers but was not frustrating at all to fix. Other than that i had zero issues so far.

Overall, considering the price, it is the best choice around for beginners that are not looking for many features.

oustanding

for this price it cannot be beaten on value for money combined with a quality product. looks and feels robust and the sounds I put through it are as I want, without distortion or loss of signal.

Behringer U-Phoria UMC22

One of the best price quality interface in the market. By far. Excellent preamp and very transportable. Nice interface.

Very good

It works really good, I had some problems with the drivers first, I could not use channel 2 but it was just uninstall driver and try with a previous version and it worked perfect.

The only problem that I find is that the drivers are generic no made from behringer but it works perfect for start.

Great for the price

A nice little bit of kit with all basic features required in an AI. The sound quality is great and it's very easy to use/set up. One more XLR port would have been nice I guess but for the price it's the best you can get. Quality stuff from Behringer.

Brilliant Beginner Interface

I call this a brilliant beginner interface but in actual fact, this could easily be used at a professional level. The build quality is superb and the sound produced by it is incredible. Providing you are okay to only have two inputs this interface is all you need. Easy to set-up and use, absolutely perfect!

Gets the job done for a super low price.

The interface itself looks good, feels good, has plenty of features especially for the price and the only problem is the 16 bit 48kHz quality.

Pros - microphone input, instrument input, headphones input, speakers input, quality dials, 48V phantom power, direct monitoring, quality build, etc.

Cons - 16 bit 48kHz quality

Great audio interface for broadcast

Having a condenser mic with a phantom power supply I thought that will do to make it work as it should. I couldn't be more wrong. Only after hooking up the above interface, I could hear the difference.

Great item and a great shop. I am based in Uk and it only took them 2.5 days to deliver the parcel.

A+++++++

Satisfied

I bought this audio interface after a friend of mine suggested it and I totally love it. I mostly use it for recording bass lines or like an easy to carry combo with my laptop. Delivered every bit of my expectations.

Great value

Fantastic piece of kit, great value and excellent quality.

My son is using this to connect his guitar to his iMac, and has found this easy to use, and works really well, allowing him to connect through USB.

Great budget interface

Use:

Whether you need to have a high quality microphone for podcasting or recording musical instruments this interface does the job!

Pros:

Good construction no real worries of it breaking too easily.

A microphone port and an instrument port! Real handy for vocals and playing guitar bass etc.

Cons:

Only one port for microphone so not going to do the job if you need to mic up a drumset for example, although I've been able to get a consistent enough highhat-snare-bassdrum sound with just one mic but its not ideal.

In conclusion this is a perfect interface at a perfect price for a budget budding producer or sing songwriter !

Although if you have the funds, I suggest going for the Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD !

People on Win10 might find this useful

INST2 input was not working out of the box. Here's the solution:

Try this, but ensure that all other programs are closed before you start (my computer crashed on one of my attempts, even though this is a clean and fully updated Windows 10 testing machine - there appear to be system level bugs here).

1) Right click on the loudspeaker icon in the Taskbar and select "Open Sound Settings"

2) Click on the link "Sound Control Panel"

3) Close the "Sound Settings" window.

4) In "Sound Control Panel", select the "Recording" tab

5) Ensure that the default device is set to any available device that is NOT the device that you want to change.

6) Right click on the device that you want to change and select "Properties"

7) Select the "Advanced" tab

8) Select the Channels / sample rate that you require

9) Click "OK"

Cheap and reliable

Bought it for home recording on my laptop.

Easy to use. Good construction. Exploits perfect my steinberg Condenser mic.

Its a little noisy at the very end but if you have the appropriate programme on your computer you can very very easily fix this.

A great beginner audio interface!

I've had this model for about 3 months now and it has never let me down. It's got a sturdy all-metal construction and the knobs feel pretty solid too. The sound is pretty good and the midas preamp included in the interface does its job quite well, especially for vocals and fingerstyle acoustic guitar. The in-build gain function is quite functional too. An excellent interface for home recordings and beginners. For this price, it's too good to miss.

This is THE budget interface

A must have if you're looking for a budget audio interface. Input selection is not crazy, but 2 instrument and 1 xlr inputs are what most people really need.

I use it with my bass and guitar and it works wonderfuly.
