beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 250 Ohm Reviews
Amazing headphones
Amazing headphones that I use daily in the studio. Quite comfortable for daily use.
Great!
Love Beyerdynamic headphones. these are sort of entry-level and they still a bang for the buck.
the quality of the sound is superb and I use them almost always for producing and tracking and even mixing.
i also own higher end pair of DT 990 and those are just out of control amazing!
none the less, these will get the job done any day!
its amazing
its sounds sooo goood and not gonna lie its better than dt 990 pro
Very good but..
Please make sure that you already have a headphone amplifier for it. Don't rely on the DAC power it is not enough.
Cut off all of the outside noise and leave you with a lovely neutral sounding headset. Great for recording music live!
Perfect
Perfect headphones for the price. The sound quality is amazing, and the headrest is very comfortable.
Professional stuff
I use these for both recording, mixing and casual listening.
They are super comfortable, very well built and and they don't tire your ears.
For recording theyre pretty good because the metronome click won't be heard. in fact, you cant hear anything with these on.
For Mixing on the other hand, not as loud or bright as you might expect, but it grows on you, and it is very very clear.
I use these a lot but I learned to take reference from In ears aswell. life changer for me.
Great budget headphones
These are my first studio headphoes and they sound amazing for the price. Crisp sound overall. Instruments are heard clearly with precise separation and as for sound isolation they're not bad as well. Although headphones are the most subjective thing to talk about.

The product is very comfortable and an ideal headset for mixing. only mid and hi frequencies are high. It could be better if all frequencies were balanced.
Great quality studio headphones
The only con that I can think of is that the wire isn't detachable, so you need to weld back the new one if needed.
Perfect mixing tool
The most comfortable and best sounding headphones for mixing or just listening to music, awesome!!
Please, keep in mind that this headphones need really strong preamp, Steinberg UR44 doesn't provide it with full required power, so the sound is rather low.
Awesome!
I use mine for recording and mixing, really like them. Very comfortable for long sessions.
Best headphones for the buck
Very nice frequency response range, flat and easy to translate from and to monitors. Super confortable to use.
Great prdouct
However, how come that when I pay a fair amount for these headphones, all I get for protection is a thin sac? The headphones are totally awesome, but that stuff really bugs me.
Excellent for the price
The build quality of these are excellent, as one might expect from Beyerdynamic. The sound is also quite good, but compared to some other options out there like the Sennheiser HD600 series, these leave something to be desired when listening for pleasure. That said, these are also cheaper.
I'm also not a huge fan of the round ear cups - they're not uncomfortable in any way, but they also don't fully enclose the ear without touching, something I'd prefer. The passive sound isolation is also mediocre, I expected a bit more of a seal from closed back cans to block outside noise.
The sound is intense (which is, I believe, a Beyerdynamic hallmark) and takes some getting used to, but then again these are advertised as studio cans and are meant to be revealing and accurate more than pleasurable and they work well for that.
All in all, these are an excellent purchase and I'm happy with them, they're close to what I envisioned if not quite there. Considering the 250 ohm impedance, you probably want something with a good headphone amplifier to drive them.
I like it very much.
I use these headphones for playing guitar and listening to music through my computer. Great sound.
I want to throw them out the window
I wanted to throw them out the window 10 times in the last week. Each time I controlled myself and tried to continue recording. Tonight in the middle of a session I had enough. They went for a little flight across the control room. Not sure if they work now.... It was 100% worth it!
My problem was not with the sound. That was ok (with some EQ). The problem is the cable. It's a heavy coil cable. It bounces around when you're tracking.
Tracking guitars it hangs off my shoulder and down the back of the chair but it's made of a kind of sticky rubber that gets caught on the shirt or caught on the chair at all times. I tried an extension cable, then it bounces heavily on the floor if I move at all. Same for vocals, unusable because of the cable coil noise that I cant get rid of. What a terrible design.
Everything else about these headphones and fine. They are comfortable and sound ok. But that cable is the worst. I have noises from that heavy dumb cable all over my tracks.
To reiterate. The sound is fine but I want to smash them.
Good Headphones
I like these headphones a lot i think they are very comfortable and they fit very nicely around my ears. I can use them for long periods of time and there will be no strain on my head
BEST HEADPHONE PURCHASED!
The Sound is perfect for Monitoring!
Also, you can use this for Hours since it is very comfortable for long sessions
