they suit me

i use these on my semi acoustic and my electric. i love a light string for huge bends. not had any problems with snapping strings even though i give them a lot of abuse.

Great

It is my go to string set, I never had a problem with it. These are not the brightest sounding strings(the NYXLs are much brighter), but it is a great standard set.

Just great strings

Great sound, great durability, very comfortable. I'm not gonna compare them with other brands, because that's not the point . They have some exceptional features, and some less exceptional ones. But all around, these are great strings. I recommend them.

I have just changed for the 009 set, but I've been using D'addario strings for a long time and I've been always satisfied with the quaility and the sound.

Great strings

I switched to these strings after using Ernie Ball strings for many years. To me, these strings seem to stay sounding bright for longer than the EBs do but, of course, that is subjective.

Work horse

Great strings at affordable price. They keep in tune for a long time. I am using mostly NYXL , but they are more expensive , and EXL are the best alternative for less money .

Тонкие как струна:)

Very comfortable strings for me. I do not like too thick. I used to play D'Addario NYXL 10-46, but they were too expensive for me to buy them often. But these strings are a real classic. They give a very transparent sound due to their subtlety, and are very convenient for bands and slides. In surf music, it came in handy.

Reliable strings.

I've been playing D'Addario XL 9 - 42 all my life on a different guitars (Fender Stratocaster, Ibanez RG) and I've never had any issue. Versatile, reliable and good sound.

Go for it

I use 09 just for young students and for the only "Floyd-Rose style" guitar I have.

Thin strings with a correct sound. Don't look for cheaper ones, you would regret.

excellent all rounders

excellent all round, tuning stability, durability, feel, tone. Very happy, my second favourite strings.

I use d'aaddario 8's as well and these, to my ear are slightly less bright, and go great with my Harley Benton semi-hollow guitar

My personal favorite strings

I bought these strings as id bought a new guitar ( one of the natural ash body harley benton teles) to be precise, as i find brand, material and gauge of string is a personal choice and can make or break a guitar expierience.

I used to only play Ernie Ball strings and a few years ago somewhere was doing a really good offer on D'addarios. i bought some although i cant remeber which ones in 11 gauge and thought they had a much warmer yet brighter tone than my previous strings and i prefered that. Over time i had lowered the gauge of the strings as my playing style has changed but i get the same great feel and tone and also lifespan from even the thinner strings.

If you are looking for new strings and are not a fan of the coated strings such as elixrs then give these a try even if you are a life long loyal customer to Ernie Ball.

If you are unsure on string gauge to buy and are new to guitar i would persoally start on 10s and see if you prefer lighter or heaver strings and adjust accordingly to feel and preference..

When payday comes i will have to buy more packs of these as im always running out and they are cheaper here than my local music shop.

Great strings

I bought those Daddario 9-42 and I like them a lot they are perfect for bending and for chords progression.

I play rock and I use them on my 1998 Gibson Les Paul and on the old 1994 Japanese Stratocaster regenerated by me.

Those strings are also durable considering that normally I play one hour per day with intensity for exercise.

Definitively I recommend this product to everybody.

Long lasting and great sounding

I'm currently in a situation that involves me having to move from place to place, these somehow always sound fresh after the breaks from each guitar so I can't recommend a better brand and set of strings
