Great benders

These are the strings you want if you play fast lead guitar with a lot of bending.

My favourite electric string

I have used these for years. Though I tried a few different brands over the last few years and just come back to these. I tried elixir, ernie ball, dean markley and a few others, these just seem to fit me.

14 years on, still using these strings

I've tried all kinds of self preserving strings with coatings, I won't label manufacturers but if you believe coated strings are the way forward you are sorely mistaken! If you take care of your strings after every gig and clean them properly you should not need to change them every 5 minutes, I like the way these strings still have their brightness after more than 4 months of gigs.

Good strings

Like most guitar strings they sound, I suppose, is key. These sound and feel great and I always use this gauge. They come in a special corrosion prevention bag so they get to you in perfect condition.
