Daddario PW-CT-12 Micro Headstock Tuner

I use this tuner every day and I'm tempted to buy a spare one. It is very easy to use, the screen is quite small but very clear and I've never had any problems seeing the display (apart from when the battery ran low, after 3 years of fairly heavy use). I can't recommend this tuner enough.

Flimsy but small in a good way

I use this for my ukulele. Don't know why cause those damn things never tune anyway. The plastic feels a bit fragile but once on, it does the job. It's also small enough to never get in the way so I leave it on at all times. I've had it for a while now and stock battery is still going.

good tuner

This tuner is great for guitar. it's precise and it work well, but it doesn't work good with a bass

Good in general

I am completely satisfied with this tuner for my everyday use. The only problem I had with it was when I tried to tune live, it couldnt recognize the frequencies well.

Perfect Tuning Companion

Iv been using them since they launched but the new feature are awesome. Quick and easy to use and accurate

Micro tuner

The Planet Waves micro tuner works just a precise as some other clip-on tuners I have. What makes this better in my opinion is the size and the fact you can turn the screen. This way you can place it on the backside of your headstock to make it near invisible.

The legend!!

The best clip tuner. Small, precise, good looking.. nothing to say.. you cant go wrong!

Average performance but a useful backup

I've had this quite a while now but never found it to be very accurate with any of my guitars. It's good enough for general use or a quick tuneup, but not accurate enough if needing to tune with other instruments. I've since moved on to another brand.

Awesome

This is an awesome little unit - really tiny so not very visible, but works perfectly. My only criticism is that it is so tiny it is very easily lost - hence I now need to buy another one! Lesson - keep them away from small kids!

Tiny, hidden but very accurate and worthy!

+ Easy to use

+ Great quality

+ Amazing display and also has colours

+ Great Accuracy

+ Seems like batteries can last a long time with this

+ includes a (silent) metronome

- The included metronome is silent. It would be awesome if it could make some sound as well, but as for this product, this is more than enough!

I would recommend this for any guitar! Easy to clip on the guitar and very hidden from the public. Amazing piece of technology.

good for guitars

It's working perfectly for guitars or ukuleles. But has problem with tuning low strings on bass. You need to wait long time until it catch tone. Also it's not possible to tune when colleagues from band are playing loud.

Nice little tuner

Great little device. Very stealthy installable. Easy to read on stage. Plus metronome!

Excellent tuner.

I recommend having one of these for every stringed instrument you own. One star docked for occasional difficulty with bass low E in noisy environments, admittedly a challenge for most tuners. These guys are super handy, very discreet, remarkably stable, easy to read and capable of handling almost anything. One of mine survived being accidentally dropped into a pint.

Perfect but a bit buzzy

I start using this tuner on my classical guitar but I realized that sometimes it starts buzzing when I play some chords. I moved it to my electric guitar and it is perfect.

Good Tuner When on the Move

I've bought three of these by now. Very usable in home/studio environment. Easy and effortless to use, also light and doesn't take much space at all. I use these at home or just put one in a pocket of a guitar bag whenever taking a guitar with me. Good thing is the 007 factor of it - it's so small and well concealable - not making your guitar look like a tech centre nor your playing fussy.

Only downside of the tuner what I've encountered is that it won't be accurate/capable of measuring correctly in a loud and shaky (next to bass cabinet) environment such as rehearsal room while the rest of the band is making noise.

Very much usable in home environment and/or when playing alone/practicing. Very good and reliable product.

I Recommend it

Low profile , quick response, stable reading, low profile on the head stock, display very clear day/night and priced right.

I recommend it.

Great little tuner!

This tuner is really tiny, on a dimly lit stage it practically disappears from the audience's view while at the same time it's right there for you to check your tuning. It still perplexes me the fact that they managed to fit a tuner in such a small enclosure!

Great but a bit flimsy

I use a lot of these. Very convenient but a bit weak ( well most of these headstock ones are). Look very professional and very good tracking for tuning

Best little tuner

I have several of these handy tuners because I think they're so great! I use them on several electric guitars, acoustics and an electric bass.

It is very accurate and responsive on all my instruments, and what I like most of all is that it is neat and tidy on the headstock!

I have to say I never really use the visual metronome feature. I only intended using this tuner as a tuner, but seems like a handy added bonus!
