Reliable

I made the change from Super Slinkys to Power Slinkys a few months back, and i'll never regret it. These strongs are perfect in any tuning, and as soon as they're on the guitar you can feel how strong they are. They stay in tune really well, and create a nice warm sound despite being a heavier gauge, always going to stick by these strings.

They're quite rough on the finger tips at first, but it doesn't take long to get used to them. Despite not being super slinky they bend really well, and can be used in any genre of music.

Once you go EB, you never go back. ..

I have been using Ernie Ball strings for the last 10 years and have never been disappointed by a single set. They are easy to use, maintain a crisp sound for a long time and sound very balanced. I use this specific set for a 24,5" scale that I use for light drop tunings and sometimes even Eb tuning. Works very well!

EB 2220

Ernie Balls have been the choice of a lot of musicians for quiet a while now, and not only because of it's price. The strings offer a warm, full sound, which is very balanced and brings out the personality of each body, wood and pick-up.

The gauge fits for most E-Tunings and can be useful for guitars with a shorter scale (as most Gibson models are)

I use this Strings for lower tunings like dropped D. They sound awesome and last long. In combination with my Gibson Explorer 76 EB they sound brutal, just the way I like it.

For this small money I dont think you can get better Strings.

My favourite guitar strings! I've been sticking with these for the last 10 years. Love the 11s, great tone, great feel and they seem to last long. Would highly recommend these.

My first choice!

5 years ago I moved to this string (I used to use .010 Ernie Ball) and I never came back. Durable and bright they suit perfectly my needs. They just feel good on my hands, something I've never felt completely with other brands' strings.

Power Cord?

Compared to the majority of brands the Power Slinky has a slitghy skinnier bottom, 0.48 and it sings beautifully. It might seem like a minor difference SRV-style slighty easier on standard tuning. Great strings for overall use.

Strings

Fantastic sounding strings, the extra thickness has yielded a heavier tone from my guitar which was what I was looking for. Playing quite heavily though I ended up snapping the higher strings so have since moved on the Not Even Slinkies. If cleaned fairly regularly, the fresh sound of the strings will last a good amount of time.

unbeatable quality

Though I prefer the Beefy Slinky strings (bottom 3 strings are heavier) the quality of all the EB strings has after many years yet to disappoint.

After 16 years of playing I haven't found a better more reliable string.

Great Strings.

I have only used Ernie Ball strings, so I can't compare other brands of strings. I use the strings for Drop C tuning mainly and they sound great to me.

The strings I always use at a great price.
