An obvious favorite!

These strings are easy to maintain, they last a long time on the sound of new strings and despite about five to eight hours of playing a day, they last for at least 3 weeks. The 2222 set gives a fat and crunchy sound, at the same time as it is easy and comfortable to bend. I recommend these strings, not only because of the price, but also the high quality. I use these strings on all of my guitars, two telecasters, a b-bender and a stratocaster because i really trust these strings, you can play them for hours and the guitar's still in tune. These strings on an acoustic guitar gives a bright and fantastic sound and the same opportunities as with an electric guitar when it comes to how to play it.

Great for D Tuning!

I use these strings on my old Squier Strat and these are really good. The low E A and D strings are thicker and they are really good for heavy songs. I keep this guitar mainly in D Tuning and its works a treat! The G B and E strings are thinner and ring out really nicely when playing chords.

Perfect balance.

Ernie Ball makes great strings, but I like this gauge, because it is perfectly balanced. The lower strings are a bit more thick and chuggy, while the high strings are lighter and easy to master. This is the perfect gauge for me.

They're strings.

What can I say, strings are strings, they do their job fine. Rarely break unless its the user's fault, sound fine for a long enough time, and they're cheap.

Love em

I use these babies constantly and my bandmates use them as well. Great strings.

Great strings for Les Paul

Excellent for standart guitar tuning "E-B-G-D-A-E" in Les Paul, if you prefer to play technical solo on thin strings and fat riffs on thick strings. Beautiful bands, correct vibrations!

My standard pack

They are my current go to pack. Durability is good in my opinion, as I usually replace when I decide to clean and polish frets. The only issue I have with them, and is something I haven't noticed that much in D'addario NYXL's is that they get black quite quickly (which is also quite personal, might not happen to everyone)

Bang for your Buck

Very good strings for the price. Would recommend to everyone.

I play the strings on my Fender Stratocaster.

Unmatched

Use to play with enrie 10s before is switch to 9s. Both the 9s and the 10s are great but I prefer the lightest feel. A no brainer for me

My favourite strings

Guitar strings are a very personal choice. I can only say that I have 12 guitars and most of them have these strings on. Quality is good, they sound well in conjunction with my gear. Give them a try before buying the big packs, remember it's up to you to like them :)

Perfect for rock

Earnie Ball strings are great as always - smooth, they don't leave marks on fingers, are easy to bend and have awesome sustain. Thicker wounded strings make it easier to get a tight riff sound that cuts through any audio system. I'm using it on my upgraded Ibanez GIO and can't be more happy.

Just my two cents here.

Everything had been said already here, so there is only one thing that I feel like pointing out: hybrid sets could be a lifesaver. Ernie Ball or otherwise.

Let?s be honest here: As rule of thumb, you select your strings based on two general parameters: how they feel (your hand?s size, your fingers strength, your playing style and the like) and that their sound and durability are reasonably ok (let?s be honest again, not everybody could hear the slight difference in sound from brand to brand in sets of same gauge and materials). Ernie Ball fits the bill, no question.

BUT there is something else to consider. Hybrid strings could literally save certain certain guitars. Pay close attention to your guitar. If it sounds skinny, weak or loose in the bass response, hybrids could fix that at little cost and without a huge compromise in terms of action and playability.

For many of you, the afore mentioned is probably redundant and evident, but for novices might find this useful, so it did worth my while to mention this still.

Ernie Ball quality

if you like the sparkling sound of your guitar then these are the strings for you, but be aware they lose that feeling pretty soon, recommended to the players who often change their strings

Great Guitar Strings

Nice hybrids, thick at the lower strings and thinner at the higher just like I wanted. Great reliability which is one reason why Ernie Ball is "the go to" strings for so many guitarists around the world.

Nice feeling.

Classic EB slinky strings, a little more playable than my usual 10-46s. Time will tell as to how long they last.
