Great versatility

Nice having the heavy bass lows and bright highs with these strings. Hard to fault Ernie ball they do the job well

Great strings, very stable

Typical EB, these sounds great for a long time. Yes if you keep them for (way) too long they will eventually rust, but its amazing how they manage to keep clarity for so long and are very tuning stable

Good sounding strings with the best price!

I play most of times hard rock and heavy metal, but also funk and jazzy music and Ernie Ball 2222 strings are perfect for both. Very crisp and pure sound. Highly recommended!

Great strings

I’ve switched to these strings about a year ago and they’re now on all my guitars. Previously I had the Ernie ball super slinky strings but I heard that the hybrid can improve tuning stability with the thicker strings so I went for them and never turned back.

Good strings, good price

I only use Ernie Ball, great strings, but these are not reinforced plain strings, can have a tendency to break when used with a trem. Keeps in tune well, and lasts long otherwise

For a stable and fat rhythm sound and bright leads

These 2222 Hybrid 9's are very stable and reliable, and definitely sound fatter than the pink ones "2223" but still have the desired brightness. I am using them on a guitar with floyd rose, bends feel great, vibrato also.

Great

I use 10-46 on all my guitars but on my Gibson SG Standard the 3 thinner strings were harder to bend, I suppose because of the shorter scale.

Anyway, I tried on it this hybrid set and it works fine.

I'll keep using this set on the SG and the regular 10-46 on the other guitars.

Beautiful

Put these on my Les Paul and i am loving the feel, the sound and the lightness of the strings. Highly recommended. An awsome set of strings. Will stick to Ernie Ball for sure :)
