Harley Benton G112 Celestion V30 Reviews
Great cab!!
I bought this cab for my Victory V40 head and it?s a perfect match. I was very surprised to see how well it?s built. It has great low end for a 1x12 cab and it?s also really light. Celestion v30 is probably my favorite speaker. Reliable and always do the job.
I liked this cab so much, I am buying another one. I use 2 heads when I play live ( the other one is a Victory the Kraken) and I feel better taking these on the road then my more expensive cabs. How Harley Benton make these for just over 100 euros is beyond me. Buy one, it?s a no-brainer
Best value
Paired it with a Blackstar HT-1RH head, sound is warm and rich on both channels, can't recommend enough, great value!
Excellent bargain speaker cabinet

This awesome speaker cabinet has a Celestion Vintage 30 on it and costs way way less than other cabinets from big brands containing this very same speaker. The overall quality is excellent, and the materials and the tolex do not feel cheap at all. You can remove the Harley Benton logo if it bothers you, but I'm fine with that. It is also not too big or heavy. The only thing I missed is an output jack so that it could be connected with other speaker cabinets.
Pairing it with a Peavey Classic 20 MH, the sound is very full, warm, and detailed. It is a great and flexible speaker to cover a wide range of music styles, but it really excels in distorted rock'n'roll and hard rock sounds. The spaker is rear mounted and has got solderless connections, in case you want to replace the spaker.
Is this for real?
The most price worthy deal you can get right now.
Order one before they realize they can charge double the price.
What a nice sound! I use my orange or-15, perfect.
Its good
Dont get me wrong for the price this Cab is great but sounds a bit boxy to me. This might be my amp or just my personal taste. Otherwise this is a great speaker.
Very good
In this price range the best what one can buy !!
Incredible deal
The cabinet itself is well built and not very heavy. It could probably use some reinforcement for intense touring and constant tossing in the back of a car, but it should last a very long time in the studio or a house. Considering the price you might as well buy it for the speaker alone: the Celestion Vintage 30 it comes with is an excellent choice for rock and metal music. You may think about this cab as a Celestion V30 with a complimentary cabinet that happens to be quite decent in construction and looks. Very satisfied!
Awesome not just for the price!
It sounds great due to the Celestion V30 speaker - which alone costs more than the whole cab so I think it's a no brainer. I can't really think any negative seriously.
Sounds fantastic with H&K Deluxe 20 head
Really surprised at just how good the cab sounded, love it and for the price its unbeatable
It's a great cab for the money and a good cab with any buget
I've bought this to use with a Peavey Classic 20 MH and it works great. The construction is rock solid and the speaker is great (Vintage 30). The wood could be a bit more thick, but it's not really a problem. The weight is very manageable. My only issue is the handle could be a bit more sturdy. It's pretty thin and made of plastic.
That said I'd still buy this again if it got lost.
Great cab!
Big boy
Such a beautifull cab.
great for the price
Exactly what I was looking for, small powerful, is good for home
Poor quality control
First cabinet went dead within a week and second one was dented and scuffed on arrival. The packaging used for international orders is not sufficiently robust to protect the items.
Good cab for home practice
Well built, has the classic speaker, sounds great!
Great cabinet
Great cabinet at a fantastic price. As others have pointed out it is actually cheaper buying the cabinet with the V30 than buying the V30 alone. The build quality is sturdy and it is a semi open cabinet that can easily be converted into an open or closed cabinet by anyone who can pick up a drill
Lovely
Upgraded from a 10" celestion cab to this and it has made a big difference to the fullness of my sound.
The speaker sounds great even before its broken in properly and the price is insanely good value. The cab is sturdy and looks well.
Harley Benton are my main provider of gigging gear now and have never let me down.
Rock on!
Perfect!
I bought this cab following my positive experience of the Harley Benton 212 vintage. Like the 212 the cab is built to a great standard and delivers excellent sound quality. My reason for the change is the due to the smaller dimensions and less weight, thus, I find using this model more practical for practices sessions with a band.
I was slightly concerned about the carry handle replacing the grab holds that the 212 has however, after using the cab the handle is more than sufficient for the weight and gives me confidence when transporting it.
Overall I find the Harley Benton vintage cabs unbeatable value for money and would recommend them to all.
Excellent 1x12 cabinet
I found this cabinet remarkable, and keep using it with a 50W tube amp. The construction is quite solid, perfectly finished, and the V30 Celestion speaker hold its own in a band setting.
Being a 1x12 cabinet with a very efficient speaker, it's lightweight and durable, and thus strains my back a lot less than a bigger cabinet with not so efficient speakers.
I use it with a Vox Night Train head.
It's a bargain
I ordered it to pair it up with my orange micro dark and it is really really good. First of all it is build to last, it's not too heavy but it is tolorable. And I beleive that I don't even need to mention that it cost almost the same as the speaker itself. Overall it's great it can do everything, from rock to punk to metal and even blues and clean if you set up your amp right. I'm already thinking about geting an another or the 2x12.
Save Money !
I have a number of valve combo's - a couple have Celestion v30's in . I've recently been using a tubemeister head direct into the pa via the red box for shows , and decided to get a cab for it - Having previously owned a tiny terror and matching cab , I was about to to click to buy the orange ppc112 and my eye just happened to spy the "what do other people buy who viewed this item ? " and a good percentage of other people bought this !
Everybody must be fools thought I . . . then I read the specs . . . Then I read the reviews . . . .
I saved money ! This thing is great if you need a 1x12 . ..the v30 is a good all round guitar speaker if you are not overly picky. The cab is well made. . . The logo's are a bit naff , so I unscrewed mine . .. I also knew that proper guitarists ( those that aren't gigging and come to sneer at equipment) would judge me and my budget option. . . So I put a Marshall logo on ! Sorry Harley ?
I would have liked a padded transit cover . .. maybe for a few pounds extra . ..it would be stupid to by a roksolid or hot cover for £40 to protect a £100 item !
