Speaker is good, cab not so much

I bought this mainly for the speaker and put the Celestion 70/80 from my Blackstar combo in it.

I feel this cab is worth the money for the speaker that's in it. I found the cabinet itself to be very muddy sounding without proper bass content. I also wasn't able to dial in enough high frequencies for it to not sound boxy. This was the case with either V30 and 70/80 in it.

I feel like cabinet walls are too thin for it to sound ok. When I compared it to Palmer 1x12 with V30s in it, the Palmer sounded much more open and with enough natural bass content. For a cheap 1x12 I would go with the Palmer one.

compact, light and sounds killer!

I bought this for easy transport to rehearsals. Man what a sound this thing has. If you want to sound killer and don't want to break your back, this is the perfect cab for you! And for this price? It's a real steal!

Best cabinet for the price

V30 and a free cabinet. What's more to ask for?

I use this product for home at the moment, but it's fully gigable and constructed well enough to take more than a few bumps. I use it with a Katana 100 head, which is overkill for the 60 watts this speaker is rated for, but on 50 watts setting it is pretty perfect. You don't have to crank the head to get distortion like a tube amp.

Amazing speaker

The Celestion G112 speaker inside this cabinet is only few euros cheaper. So basically, you are buying a G112 and get a great cabinet with it for only few euros.

Love it!

greatest 1x12 for the price

what can I say about this cab, other than it's an amazing little monster for the price. I mainly use this cab with my joyo zombie and I am getting a great sound out of it. I highly recommend this amp to any bedroom musician just looking to get a great sound for not a whole lot.

Excellent

Good build quality, excellent sound. Not sure how they'd hold up being moved around a lot, but for home/practice use they are an excellent bargain.

Very nice

This cab is, as you can see incredibly good value for money. The speaker is a full fat genuine Vintage 30 (obviously the speaker is made in China but what would you expect for the money...) which some love and others don't. Either way, I think that it is a speaker any guitarist should at the very least try out. It sounds fantastic with gain, very tight with a strong mid-range, but it is usable for just about anything.

As for the cab, It is obviously no miracle of craftsmanship, the walls are thin and the tolex looks a bit weird but everything is functional, sturdy and reliable. It really doesn't feel like a premium product, but I'm actually liking it's simplicity since it is my "working" cab and It gets carried around a lot (about three times a week). I like that I don't have to worry about a few scratches here and there which are certainly present after a few months of such use.

I would however rather buy a 16 ohm version since it works better for my setup, so If that was a thing, then that would be quite nice.

Overall, it is a bargain, so if you're considering buying a V30, then get this cab with it virtually for free.

unbeatable for the price

build quality is a little meh - but you should always give some screw-driver love to your new cabinets anyway - so for this price it`s a great cab.

Solid ad F@@k !!!!!

Just perfect for home use, pretty solid for gigging as well. Is not too heavy but either is not too thin/cheap, so it have good resonance and you can carry her around in your car without the fear he can get damaged. the V30 inside sounds very good, no rly need to go for more expensive 1x12 cap if you're looking for a v30 sound

An excellent cab for the price!

This 1x12 cabinet is excellent for the price. My primary use cases are modern metal, post-rock and ambient soundscapes.

I use it with my Laney IR Studio amplifier and Line6 Helix LT(for pre/post effects) using the 4 cable method.

Pros:

- great sound (vintage 30 speaker)

- excellent price (cheaper than any other cabinet with v30 speakers)

- good/sturdy construction

Cons:

- none

Great cab for the price! The speaker alone is worth more than I paid for the whole thing.

More value than price.

This cab is solid, affordable and great sounding. You get a full 1x12 cab with the price of the single speaker. I recommend it to anyone, from starters to pro's.

Love this cabinet!!!

What can I say? This is a great buy and sounds awesome. I saw some mixed reviews on the V30 speaker, especially for metal. Well nonsense, I really dig this speaker and the cab too. It's light and was plenty loud enough for my stage volume. I just used it at a bigger venue here in NJ, USA, Starland Ballroom. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking to downsize and lighten their load at load in and load out. I used this with a Mooer Baby Bomb Power Amp and Mooer Brown Sound Preamp. Plenty loud!!!

Great value 1x 12

I've been using marshal 1936 cab for the last 10 years but i needed to lighten the rig for the latest band i'm in . initially i was using a Katana 100 head with a marshal 4X10. but it was still to cumbersome and large for some venues so I wanted to get a 1x12 but didn't want to spend to much so I bought the Harley Benton G112 Vintage. I don't miss the Marshal 4X10 at all if anything this cab sounds better with more bottom end. I would highly recommend it.Its fits the Katana head as if it was made for it.

Superb Cabs!

I bought two of these cabs to use with a Line 6 Helix and a Palmer Macht power amp running in stereo. I've been gigging with them for about 18 months - 40 or so gigs later and they're still going strong and sounding great! The cabs are very well-constructed: proper birch ply - the tolex isn't all that thick but it's still holding up nicely (I made some protective covers for transporting the cabs). Obviously the main reason I went for these cabs is because they contain a proper Celestion Vintage 30. I can confirm that the Celestions in these cabs are exactly the same and sound exactly the same as all the other V30s I've used a relied upon over the years. Live, these cabs sound great - the Celestions project and cut nicely (just like they should) - lots of detail (the Vintage 30 really is a fantastic speaker although they absolutely have to be broken in at volume in order to loosen them up - until then they can sound quite bright and hard - so crank them up!!) and the semi-open back design of the cab gives a nice amount of spread without sacrificing low-end punch. A while ago I swapped out the Vintage 30 in one of the cabs for a Celestion A-Type for a bit of sonic variation and this driver works exceptionally well in the cab (the V30 from the Harley Benton now lives, and still sounds great, in one of my other cabs). These cabs are a bargain!

unbeatable in price... how they do it?

Budget king

Awesome value for money. For the cost of V30 itself you also get a cab. Cab is really solid, fit and finish is good as well. Sounds good, just as you'd expect from an open back 112 V30 cab. Recommended.
