No brainer at this price

Quality looks fine and the sound is good too. Original Celestion Vintage 30 inside, so there is no need to overthink this.

Grat value for money, sound is impressive

Good.

It sounds pretty good to my ears. I haven't used an external cab for years, so I don't have much to compare it to. It sounds better than the speakers in my combo amps. More bottom end thump too. Build quality is ok. It feels pretty solid. Some of the trim is not perfect but that's nit picking.

I'm glad that I bought it, it does the job.

V-30, what else can I say?

Dude, this thing needs some air! Great for performing at bigger venues.

exceptional value

I only play guitar at home now, all styles from classical to jazz. I had been using a Chinese made 5F1 clone built into a DIY solid wooden cabinet with 10 inch HH speaker. Not so much for jazz where I use a schertler Jam 150. I digress.

I purchased the Harley Benton G112 Vintage which I modified into a combo using the 5F1 clone.

I pulled back the tolex/rexine and cut out the plywood top for the amp.Stuck it back down and fitted the 5 watt amp.

What a difference! I'm even using my Strat and Tele for jazz through this combo instead of the archtop through the Schertler.

It goes without saying that the sound is great for more bluesy or rock type sounds.

The cabinet itself is OK. the struts inside are only stapled but easily remedied with some wood glue and screws. this could be a problem if on the road where it might not stand up to a lot of abuse but for my needs it's perfect.

All in all this is a great bargain and more importantly sounds great

Good rock sound

I would recommend this cabinet for someone playing high gain music, as it takes drive sound really good. I, myself, was looking more for a wider range of sounds cabinet, that would do well from rock to jazz, but obviously this isn't what I was looking for. At least for my taste. But I had to try it, for the price )

For jazz (traditional one) I would say it sounds pretty thin, and misses a lot that low end. But this thing makes it good for higher gain sound, as it doesn't muffle the overall sound, when played overdriven.

This being sad, I am not saying it is a bad cabinet, it just doesn't suit my style. I would say the cabinet itself is pretty well built. Plywood, thick, a real Celestion Vintage 30 inside.

But I would love to see a more of a all-purpose sounds cabinet from Harley Benton, less focused on high gain, but also with a good quality speaker from Celestion, or other top brands.

Incredible Cabinet for the price

Unquestionably a great deal for the Celestion Vintage 12" speaker, cabinet isnt too heavy either. only gripe come from the tubing around the mesh, it is not flush as there are defects but Im not complaining, buy this cabinet!

Best 112 Cab you can get for this much of money

I bought it for my Fender DRRI amp as an alternative to the original Jensen speaker. I simply didn't want to bother replacing the driver on the amp.

Build quality and the sound of the speaker is amazing. Black tolex that used is not as good as the one on the Fender amps, not there in nothing to complain - functionality wise -. It is shinier and the texture is flatter comparing to Fender tolex.

I am using both the Jensen and Celestion together as a stack and I am very happy with the volume and color it adds to my sound. It fills the room a lot better which is roughly a 30 m^2 space.

If anything happens to this one, if I decide to buy a cab as a present to a musician friend, I would definitely go with this one again.

Harley Benton G112 V30

I was skeptical because of the price, this is the real deal folks. Get em while they're this cheap!!!

A great speaker cabinet well worth the affordable price

A Celestion Vintage 30 speaker enclosed in a well-built cabinet costing less than the price of a Celestion Vintage 30 speaker. It's made of plywood, which can limit the amount of low-end resonance compared to thicker woods, but the open-back design easily makes up for the low-end response.

You simply can't go wrong at this price point in both sound and quality.

Awesome cab!

This thing is unreal for the price.

Just like many other reviewers - I'm astounded at this price and the great quality and tone of this cab.

It's incredible.

I replaced the grill with an "Orange style" weave, and it looks *amazing*.

Unreal

The amount of usable sound that comes from this single V30 is unreal to me. I would recommend this for the home player/ as well for any level of recording from home to professional.

Great cab!

This was a great purchase. Awesome sound and a great price. It's easy to move around as it's not really heavy.

I can't say how this will stand the test of time, but mine won't be moving around much, just staying put, and I have no concerns over the build quality for how I am using it.

If you need or even just want another cab, this is a great one to have.

Best for the money!

Great sound for metal (I am using the cab with a Peavey 6505mh)

The tolex is maybe too shinny for my taste, but in general it looks very nice for the money.

after a year..still rocking!

Love the sound, love the finishes... the only thing I would change is the weight. Would live if it was lighter. Apart from that.. all great!

This cab is amazing. For the price of the speaker, you get a great sounding open back cab, which I think I prefer to a lot of my other cabs (don't tell the other cabs that). If you destroy it, you still have the speaker. It's a no-brainer.

Cons: Literally none.

Stupendous value for money

This speaker is sturdy, looks the part and sounds great! I paired it with an Orange Micro Dark, and the set sounds great.

I'm not huge expert player or gearhead, so value for money matters a lot to me and I can't say anything bad about this speaker. Just buy it.

Killer amp for the Price!

I put this up against my Mesa Boogie 1x12 with the same Celestion V30 Speaker and it really holds its own for a quarter of the price of the Mesa. The cabinet is made well and doesn't sound boxy at all.
