absolute bargain

A cabinet with V30 for this price is just a steal.

The cab itself appears sturdy and well built. Has lots of bass and initially I thoght it sounded boomy. Moving it around the room and raising it above ground helped. I think HB should build and sell these with an optional board to convert it to a closed back cab which should sound much tighter - an easy DIY project though.

My only comment on the V30: the best speaker ever for metal.

Great buy.

My cab come perfect. It's no brainer, cost less than many Celestion 70/80 cabs yet comes with a real V30 inside.

Best Bargain in Guitardom

This cab, with the Celestion speaker, is an unbelievable bargain. Pair it with a decent tube head and you're in business. The cab is durable and the speaker is excellent for classic rock. Recommended!

Great sound

I use it with jet city amp. It has a performance over its charge, the sound is amazing

A really good cab for it's price, there is nothing to add, it works really well, if you use in a little bedroom like me you have to buy some sound absorbing panel to glue on the wall behind the cab

Incredible value for money

For 130€ this is and incredible speaker cabinet. Great sounds.

Amazing price and tone quality

I firstly bought this because I couldn't believe the price. Basically, you get the cab at the same price you get the V30. Even if you want to upgrade your amp with a Celestion V30 get this cab and use the speaker and you will end up having an extra 1X12 cabinet to use with your old one. Tonally, it sounds like the V30 is supposed to sound. No surprises there. A full dark tone with emphasis on the mids.

Well, you don't really need me to tell you about it, the V30 is probably the most famous and most recorded guitar speaker out there. Especially for metal. So if you need that tone, simply buy this without thinking.

Great quality for the price

These asian-made V30's are great, in my opinion.

At first i was not sure about the sound, but after the break in period, i was sold. This is my first experience with V30's, mind you.

I have made a custom cover for the back, that turns this cab into a closed back cab. It works good, the cab looses a lot of bass, and it becomes a bit tighter. I also tried this cab with the back completely open, and all i can say is - this semi-closed back sounds the best, it fill the whole room ,has a good amount of bass. Not sure if it is accidental, or a lot of testing went into this - but the hole in the back is just the right size for this cab.

Excellent Value

I have never had the opportunity to play this speaker cab at loud volumes but have used it at home with a 15 watt tube head and it is decent and capable. At this price it is a fantastic deal !!!

Words cannot describe how satisfied I am with this cabinet. Sounds incredible. The construction is solid. I think it is, by far, the best option.

Great Speaker

Only have this speaker a few days but have to say the sound is amazing. The strap and the covering seem a bit flimsy but I am using for home recording so won't really effect me much. The rest of the cab and the speaker itself are phenomenal. Fantastic value for money.

It's a Celestion vintage 30

Can't go wrong with a Celestion vintage 30 for metal music. The cab itself feels sturdy and the sound is just massive.

Great choice for its price

The Celestion Vintage 30 speaker is enough to buy this cab. The construction is quite good, although it could be better.

The sound is good and after about six months of use, I have not noticed any problems.

For its price it is a great choice, for someone who does not want to spend more money.

Exactly what I wanted

Cab is exactly as described and sounds fantastic; my only issue was a small amount of frayed material sticking out between the piping of the grill cloth and tolex on one section of the front where the two meet. Otherwise, the cab is very sturdily built and has no other cosmetic flaws.

Amazing

For the price, it out performs many that cost twice as much. I build my own amps and use these for some of the smaller ones. It sounds especially awesome with a Fender Princeton and a Supro Coronado. For a little more than the price of the speaker, you have an entire cabinet. Search YouTube for sound comparisons and use headphones to listen.

I replace the tolex on these, or I simply go right over the existing without the hassle of removing tolex or sanding glue. The corners are cheap, and the corner covers must be put back after re-tolexing. (Ooo, I just invented a verb.) If you wanted the clean look of a vintage fender amp, you would have to use some sort of filler for the corners, as they are cut short since they use a corner cover anyway.

great cabinet

this is an excellent 12" cab. it has the celestian vintage 30 speaker in it. sounds great and excellent value. the build quality and materials are the best i have seen.
