Well worth the price.

The appeal, of course, is the Greenback speaker. It's a classic for a good reason. I wasn't too sure if this was going to cut it for me, but being on a tight budget, I decided to buy this and figure it out later.

I was not disappointed! I took the time to "break in" the speaker properly, and then tried some recording with it and it sounds as it should, great! The cab is not too heavy, and is not too big either.

I have a smaller studio space, and this fits well within the confines of my current space.

I am using the G112 mainly for home recording purposes, so I can not comment on durability of the Tolex on the cab, but one can only assume that gradual wear and tear will do what it does.

If you need an extra cab with an excellent speaker, or if you want to add another sound to your amp, this makes a whole lot of sense. Plus, the price makes it hard to argue with.

Unbelievable quality for the price

Just bought my first amp head (a victory V40) and was looking for a good speaker cabinet to play through. I happened to stumble on this while browsing the site and couldn't believe it- a cabinet with a real Celestion v30 for this price sounded too good to be true!

I decided to take a flyer - and it was well worth it.

The wait for the postal service was long (way too long - some would call it torture, others would call it par for the course with the postal service) but the reward was amazing! All my guitars sound great with this.

100% recommend this. The only question is if you should go for the 2x12 instead... (I'm definitely thinking about ordering one)

Great Product

I received my cab ultra fast and in perfect condition. Really solid and sounds better than I excepted. It took less than a week from Germany to Virginia, USA. That is impressive. Great value and the best shipping. Do not miss out on these harley benton cabs.

Unbeatable for the price

As everyone before me has said, this is a cab and speaker for the base price of the speaker..... how they do it, who knows!

I’d read reviews about the tolex and the grille cloth quality and expected it to be a bit meh but in truth the quality is spot on. I’m running a orange micro dark into it and the cab handles it beautifully. Really open and clear, no rattles or squeaks.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone, you really don’t need a dearer cab if you are looking for a 1x12.

Good cab for some gigs

cab is good, has a lot of thump, light, sounds nice, only problem is the spekaer needs alot of breaking up till it sounds right, out of the box it sounds shrill and not plesant

overall good cab for long runs and simple gigs

Just. Great.

Nothing to add, except that it's the best cab you could buy at that price, and that it pairs very well with my Peavey 6505MH.

Great 1x12

There's nothing better than that in this price range (It's like a ORNG 1x12 - see for yourself the price difference between the 2)

Excellent product.

I bought this to play my Laney 15W through as I don't rate the speaker in the Laney. This Celestion speaker definitely brings out 'hidden' frequencies and offers a far warmer, fuller tone. It could have been a different amp! Great product and knockouit price for what you get.

amazing sound

After much research I finally decided to buy a speaker cabinet. I was previously using a PA system, mixer\power amp to 20cm bass stage speakers. It is a hard comparison between a dedicated guitar speaker cabinet and a PA system but still, the difference is huge. This Celestion actually gets louder than the PA system which is rated at 100w. I use it for distortion and the sound is amazing. Also, the price is great since the actual speaker is almost 85% of the whole speaker cabinet price.

Absolutely Beautiful!

I got this Cab more than a year ago, and now I'm back to review it, I'm so pleased to have chosen this one and it does sound amazing after it has been broken in and settled, the sound is really well balanced, the build quality is really good, and for the price, it is a no brainer to get this one! like you get a really decent semi-open cab for the price of a Celestion VIntage 30 included!

I mean, It's pretty good.

Back story. Former touring musician, former studio manager, gave up the touring rig, etc. Looking to build up some good value items for home recording.

I'm playing with mini amp heads, like Joyo Bantamps for the most part. This is a great little cab to push with them. It eats up the power these little heads put out and I can really push it and get great sounds from it.

I would have liked there to be a closed back option (didn't need a 2x12, which is closed back) so I may end up refitting a new back panel for it to close it off.

Cosmetically, yeah, it's a little rinky dink. It's not as clean as my old Orange and Boogie cabs. I don't know how it would hold up to traveling use to shows but nothing really holds up unless you get it in a road case and haul it around protected. An uncased guitar sharing a blanket with a cabinet in the back of your mom's minivan is going to go through the grill no matter the brand.

Really nice cabinet

Best bang for the buck out there, even with shipping cost to US. Delivery was incredibly fast. Took less than 1 week to Tampa FL.

Very happy with HB and cabinet.

Cabinet sounds great and no rattles.

Katana cabs

Bought a pair of these and a mono split to 2 mono cable for use with a Boss Katana Head... it makes a great mini stack... sounds pretty powerful and easily handles Katana... for the money very good value and still very portable... with 2 cabs I keep one in the house and one at rehearsal space so I just have to port the head

Cheapest 1x12 cab (and my first one too)

Harley Benton, what can I say. The king of cheap and good. I paired it with a Marshall DSL20, and it sounds really good. The binding around the speaker grill was a bit cut but it's not a problem. It looks ok, nothing fancy. It's so good that my cat even tried to sleep in the open back hole.

Great budget cab

This cab sounds great once the speaker is broken in. For the price, I've yet to find a better gig-ready cab.

Such an improvement

I bought this as a replacement for the other Harley Benton cabinet without the Celestion and when this arrived I immediately noticed a huge difference. It's just fantastic for the price.

Awesome Cab, Bad Packing

First off, this cab/speaker is an awesome value and I'm very happy with it. The cab is very sturdy and the speaker is a genuine Celestion V30. The grill cloth is only okay, a bit frayed and cheap feeling. The piping around the front is a little uneven. The tolex is soft but very cheap feeling and not durable.
