Harley Benton G212 Celestion V30 5-stars Reviews
HB Speakers
it´s like an Mesa Boogie or Orange, but cost 4 times less! Need to say anything else more? :)
Incredible cab
Couldn't believe the price of this cab, fitted with 2 celestion vintage 30's. Wow the sound is amazing as you would expect from these great speakers. Perfect
Best buy
This is probably the best 2x12 cab you can get in this price range. It's heavy and a really well built cab with awesome speakers in it. I play mostly metal and hard rock but I belive it would probably sound great for any type of music. I really recommend it
An outstanding value for money cab.
I won't go into details regarding the description and specifications of the cab, that's all on the product page. Suffice to say the adage 'you get what you pay for' is not the case here.
This cab is solidly built (heavy though) and the fit and finish are nothing short of outstanding. It puts many 'boutiuqe' brands to shame in that regard.
There's never any sense that its a budget piece of gear that may need 'babying'. It's built we'll, and built to last.
The sound is fantastic, no nasty peaks or surprises, just a warm, very punchy, classic guitar tone. It sounds much bigger than it is, and to be fair, it's pretty big!
An outstanding buy, and one I intend to repeat as soon as I can afford another!

Harley Benton G212 Vintage - Personal Experience
This guitar cabinet promises much, by being loaded with Celestion V30 speakers and costing less than the price of buying just the speakers on their own. It's the more expensive option in the Harley Benton range and compares very favorably with the cost of rival 2 x 12 cabinets on the market (the bigger brands are hugely more expensive).
The first thing I noticed when I unpacked this item was the fact that it is really quite well made - not an overly cheap vinyl covering or obvious cost-cutting in the construction. It all appears to hang together very well.
I have played this cabinet with both a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier and a Carvin MTS 3200 and the results were good on both counts. I never felt particularly blown-away with the performance, but these things are very subjective and I'm sure that with more tweaking, I could get closer to the sound I was hoping for. Unfortunately for me, I am comparing the results to a Behringer 4 x 12 cabinet I'd used for a couple of years before buying the Harley Benton. It's important to remember that a 4 x 12v is just going to shift more air and shake the walls better than a 2 x 12 and for me, this is the only drawback. On the plus-side, this cabinet is really easy to transport and isn't too heavy to carry around on your own.
I have no hesitation recommending this cabinet to anyone - it really does deliver the goods and sounds good if you're playing through a decent amp. Clean tones work particularly well at all volumes, as do bluesey licks and chords. Where I find it slightly lacking is where I want to reproduce very saturated metal tones ans chunky, palm-muted rhythm chops. It's here where it seems to lack the depth and punch of a good 4 x 12, or a 2 x 12 from a 'better' brand.
If you can live with the more lightweight sound that this cabinet delivers or you don't want to use it for metal, you're onto a real winner. If you want something which will shake the foundations of your local clubs and peel the plaster off of the walls of your bedroom, you may be wise to look elsewhere.
Excellent cabinet
I purchased the Harley Benton G212 Vintage for use with my Peavey 5150 II head. The cab came well packaged and looks very nice. It feels very sturdy and is quite heavy. The sound from the cab is great, it gives good punchy low end and reacts very well to down tuned heavy riffing. The cab also has a lovely smooth high end response and the note articulation that it provides is excellent. This is a very good value cab and would make a great addition to any valve head the vintage 30s really sing and speak of quality. The only downside to this cab is that the tolex is not incredibly hard wearing and damages quite easily but this is only very minor when the cab is such good value for money.

I was really impressed about everything connected with this speaker. The whole unit just feels so solid and well made. A guess it would survive a lot of rough treatment. Weighs a ton but that is to be expected! Plugged into an old Laney Theatre 120 mixer amp it was LOUD, seriously loud. Currently using it in a small room so the volume controls on the amp and my Vintage SG were way down. Sound quality is excellent, really want a chance to use it in a big room with the volume turned up. An excellent speaker for the money.

I bought this to use in with a Marshall JVM205H, and couldn't be happier. For the price this is an exceptionally great cab. It's durable and roadworthy, sounds great and can be used in mono or stereo. Should you buy a pair of the V30 speakers on there own they'd cost the same if not more than the overall cab. I really can't speak highly enough about it. I've used it for recording, live gigs, home use, and rehearsals and never fails to meet my expectations. Really has never let me down. At 25kg it can be at times difficult to handle as it's more bulky than heavy however it has never been too much of a problem for me. With 120w in mono, and 60w in stereo it might not be for everyone if you are using a stereo set up with pushing more than 60w but for the majority of mono set ups this will go above and beyond its duty.
Gigging for years!
I bought this cab on recommendation from a few internet sites a few years ago. It sounds amazing for the price even against bigger names like Engl and Marshall. The cab itself has great handles that make it really easy to carry and it seems to be really really durable, I've only had a few nicks in the tolex after almost 4 years of gigging!
Genuine Vintage 30s for a fraction of the price.
I bought this cab to use for small gigs with my band using my Marshall JCM 2000 & JCM 900 heads as it was easy to fit into my car but still provided plenty of power handling and output.
I had identified from youtube clips that I really liked the sound of Vintage 30 speakers and wasn't surprised when I saw them listed as the drivers in some Mesa Boogie cabs and as an upgrade to Marshall 1960s but I was extremely surprised to see them in a cab costing hundreds of pounds less than these so thought I'd this cab a go.
The cab came quickly and very well packaged, not to mention covered by the three year warranty, and when I took it apart to have a look it was really well made and well internally braced with good quality cable hooking up the speakers and two branded V30s as well. Not to mention it sounds fab.
If you're looking for a great sounding cab and you're not bothered about brand names, then this is for you.

Simply amazing value for money.... i would advise people to check the Ohm rating of their amp prior to purchasing any cab. you don't want to buy your speakers only to find they're the wrong rating! well built lush sounding vintage 30's at an incredibly price
vintage 30s
Awesome value!
The only thing 'cheap' is the price
I purchased this because I needed a cabinet, wanted Vintage 30 speakers and didn't have a lot of money. The build quality is vert good throughout and the cab is sturdy and reliable. The sound quality is excellent and overall I feel it performs on par with much more expensive alternatives such as the 1936v by Marshall. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget, and indeed anyone considering a 2x12
