nice tele

This is a very nice tele. Has a traditional chunky neck. I replaced the pickups but that is just a personal taste. Don't be afraid to pick this one up before they are gone.

impressed

this is by far the best cheapest guitar i've bought, I've bought cheaper and ive bought better but not at the same time. very nice looking, nice sounding guitar, it feels good, the fretwork could be a little better but for the price, very impressed Highly reccomend!

Its my beat around the bush tele

It needed a serious neck and fret job. But now plays quite well. Prefer the neck pup. Nice design. Cheap! If you put in some work, the HB’s play well. Great beginner guitar.

same features as a reg tele nice finish and i prefer it to my classic vibe tele (3x the price of this tstyle)

Harley Benton Does It Again

Once again, a high quality guitar has been made affordable for us intermediate level players. This guitar has a great feel to the neck, great finishings on the frets and pickups that respond to a variety of themes. This will be in the rotation with my other Harley Benton . My Strat will have to bide its time.

If you don't mind a heavy guitar, KAPOW, this neck and neck pick up kick ass.

I bought this guitar because I wanted a paisley guitar, it was cheap, so I felt fine taking a chance to modify it. It came and I was very pleasantly surprised. It plays WAY WAY above its pay-grade. It is also the heaviest guitar I own. I still own it. The bridge pick up does not sound good on mine, might just be a bad luck fluke. The neck is as good as any 2000 dollar guitar. Fantastic. smooth. intonation is great, Neck pick up after adjusting is all out great. In that position it sounds like a 70's telecaster being played by Eric Clapton, back in his Blind Faith days with the right amp or modulation. I let everyone try it, first thing every time "that's not basswood, too heavy" second, "Are you kidding me, WOW" It really is a value. This is a great first guitar, as good as many much more expense guitars. Dads: you cant go wrong getting this as a 1st guitar for your child. Honestly I could sand off the name, and no one would question me if I said I had it made for me, after I replace the weak bridge pick up that is. Really really recommend at this price point. IF you cant afford a tele, this will fill the void in neck position. I mean that. 40 years playing, and I own lots of good guitars and have lots of experience.

Would have been nice if the guitar didn't have a twisted neck

The guitar came fast, felt pretty solid, had no sharp fret ends and all the controls felt pretty good in hand. The neck profile is quite nice and comfortable, i had originally thought my neck was twisted but after taking off the neck and putting a small impromptu shim in the pocket she now plays fantastically. How did they make such a nice little guitar cost this little?

You won't find a better T style guitar for the money.

I'll just say this, this guitar was my first HB, if you have never owned one you should, I'll bet they make a customer out of you.

first HB purchase, quite impressed

This was my first HB guitar purchase.

The production quality was very good, I have nothing of significance to complain about. I'm not one of those who goes through a new guitar with a microscope. I haven't seen, felt or noticed anything wrong with my copy, nothing that affects playability or sound.

The string action was set a bit too low for my taste, but that's a quick and easy adjustment. Otherwise the set-up was good.

My main complaint concerns the plastic covering on the pickguard, where the plastic protective film was tucket too far down into and under the neck pickup. It was somewhat annoying getting all the plastic out.

The sound is deep and woody, just what I was looking for. I mainly play ambient or "atmospheric" guitar, and this guitar works beautifully with delay, reverb and some mild overdrive. I would also say that it's a really good guitar for blues and jazz. The neck is easy to play on and I feel like it really invites you bend and have fun.

I don't think I would use this guitar for metal or hard-rock, it's not as "gain-y" as an Ibanez guitar, for example. The pickups on this guitar have instead a more darker and fuller sound to them.

So I'm fully pleased with my guitar and my purchase, and if the other HB guitars are as good as this one I will be quite eager to try another one.

Superb = says it all really!!

I’ve become a huge fan of the Harley Benton guitars, so much so, I have now bought 4 and most recently a kit to keep me busy. The TE70 black Paisley arrived flawless. I looked it over with a fine tooth comb and there was nothing I could see that would raise any concern. The price blew me away! The fact is that my other guitars from more “infamous” brands are considerably more expensive and also had questionable quality control. The frets are really nice and polished well finished. fret sprout really is one of my pet hates. The paint work is flawless too. Overall I am delighted with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone who maybe interested in purchasing one.

This Paisley TE-70 is solid

I've owned this for about a year now. It looks nice, plays nice, and sounds nice. The quality for this price point is phenomenal. I purchased this to serve as a 5-string open-D guitar à la Keef, and it is perfect. This bad boy is solid. My only complaint is that it is heavy AF, but since I am not playing out, it's not a problem for me. If I were playing a couple-hour set, that tune might change.

Great quality and value

No adjustment needed straight out of the box. Very nice finish. Using boss katana mini amp and getting very good tones. Highly recommend this guitar. As usual delivered quickly.

Black Paisley Tele

Gigged for the first time last Saturday and the amount of positive feedback I had from the musos in the audience was well beyond my expectations. It was positive all the way meaning more gigs using the Tele in preference to my American Strat.

Possibly pale paisley

For the money great, on mine the paisley print was cloudy / pale , just be aware of this! The tuners are not the best but

Other than that all in all a good guutar for the money,

WOW - Impressed

I have always been one of those guitarist who had to have a genuine USA made Guitar. Cheap guitars to me was not an option, but i was looking for a guitar that i could just carry around and not worry about being knocked. I looked at Budget Guitars between £200 to £300 but i couldn't seem to settle on a specific brand, although i wanted cheap still had to look good. Then i caught a review showing off the TE-70 Black Paisley, I done some research on this guitar and was amazed with the look and the specification. I was still really unsure about making a purchase as £135.00 was really cheap and couldn't understand how they could actually make any money from selling at £135.00. But i took the plunge, whilst I thought I would be waiting weeks for delivery, within four days it was on my door step. I have to say the build quality and specification of the guitar was flawless, although i was expecting a slightly lighter feeling guitar it feels the same as my Fender USA Telecaster. Honestly for a £135.00 its well worth it and in my opinion no other guitar can come close to this one. I have playing the guitar now for around a week and love it. Trust me if anyone out there is looking for a budget guitar you wont find better this. Although I must say I am going to Mod it slightly, Locking Tuners and Pickups, but that's just personal preference. Take it from me, someone who had to have the brand and snubbed his nose at cheap, I was very wrong in this case! So try one for yourself, you won't be sorry!

The best you can get for this money!

This guitar is just a masterpiece for this money! There is a couple of cons, but it`s not significant and I don`t want to speak about it. You can just take this guitar from the box and play without any problems, no need to do with it anything. I realy love this guitar!
