Not great

Not good either, sadly.

I didn't realise just how spoilt we are these days for great sounding strings - until I tried these.

Oh well, it was worth a shot.

Good enough for everyday use

I've found these strings reliable. They don't sound like the famous known brands but they're good enough to be used for practice, rehearsing, or backup. I've personally used them live and they sounded OK. Highly recommended.

Cheap and cheerful

They're cheap and they're cheerful and they do the job nicely, especially for home practice but I'd even gig with them, to be honest -- no one at the gigs would know the difference between these and the expensive ones.

Great Value

These valus strings are as they say. What you get for your money is very good.

These will make very good every day strings although I use them either as spares (I don't want to open a new set of more expensive strings when I break one at a gig) as any odd string will sound diferet to the rest in any partly used set, or if I need a half decent set of strings on a guitar that is not in regular use.

Do not let the price and packing fool you.

These are better than most of the popular brands. In terms of sound these are very balanced and last very long.

if you have lot of guitars!

Great to buy in bulk don't last as well live but for sessions or home use its a much more cost effective way to re strings all your guitars! Feel wise there really isn't any different in any of the industry standard brands.

best budget strings

these strings keep surprising me in a positive way.

they sound good and also feel great.

they do lose their tone more quickly than more expensive strings but you can buy 5 sets of these for the price of one of those sets.

i always have 2 sets of these as backup during a show

String broke while stringing guitar

Well, I really wanted to give these a go but unfortunately the high E string snapped at the ball end while I was stretching it during stringing the guitar. So I immediately took them off again. Strings should not break at the first bend.

I HAVE ALWAYS USED STRINGS D'ADDARIO, AND WHEN I BUY THESE ROPES HARLEY BENTON, IT WAS JUST TO COMPLETE A VALUE THAT I HAD AVAILABLE ON THE SITE, BUT WHEN PLACING THESE ROPES IN MY GUITAR, I HAD A GREAT SURPRISE! BECAUSE I HAVE INSTALLED THESE STRINGS AT A GOOD TIME, AND UNTIL THE MOMENT THEY CONTINUE WITH AN AMAZING SOUND!

WHERE I LIVE (BRAZIL), THESE STRINGS DO NOT EXIST TO SELL, AND FOR THIS REASON THERE WASN'T TESTED BEFORE THIS STRAIGHTENING, I BELIEVE THIS STRINGS IS ONE OF THE BEST COST x BENEFIT AVAILABLE ON THE SITE

They're OK

Considering the price, they are OK. But not the to go strings for me.

Ok product, but not longlasting

I recently put those on my guitar and they broke a month after.

Sound is okay in my opinion. Just need to replace them regulary.

Because the price is amazingly low, you can put on new set before every gig without spending a fortune. Cheap new set is better than old expensive one. :)

What did I get for my pittance?

Nicely packaged smooth playing, strings with a good balanced tone,I normally buy Ernie balls ,and to be totally honest see no difference in quality except to say these are nicer under the fingers! What's not to like?

Great Strings for a great price.

Got those strings the first time about a year ago when i restrung a used tele for my friend. A couple of days later he asked me what strings i used for it because he likes the snappy sound so much. I use them now on all my solid bodies.

OK strings

Good value for money. I like these and will buy again. 'd Addarios are better but also 4x the price. Buy them and try them.

A bit trebly, but great.

I see no reason to use any other brand any more.

They produce a bit more treble compared to other sets, but you can always get as warm as you need with a twist of the tone knob.

They do have a weird coating that goes away after about an hour of play..
