Millenium DTRAB-1118 Drum Stool pneumat Reviews
Price and quality
This drum stool has been holding up and still looks like new. For a fraction of the price, comparing other brands, this stool will protect your ass and back, so your hands and legs can shine. Will buy again and again.
Comfy drum seat
It's the best drum seat I've had! The back support makes a huge impact when you need to stretch your back during the song intervals
Good value drum throne
It's a throne, its sturdy, the hydraulic adjustable sit works great. Brilliant value for money
Good value for money
Work great as a stool for my FOH mix position
Surkea
Ostin tämän koska siinä on selkänoja, olisi pitänyt tutustua asiaan enemmän.
Stable Throne
Thrashed about whilst using double pedals! It holds up nicely! Hydraulic system is a nice touch and I can sit comfortably for hours on this ! Its decent for the price.
goood seat
comfy and i am a big 240 kg man, it took my size good.
Broke within days
After three uses, this broke...feeling ripped off...how do I get a refund?
Good design and quality materials. Poor construction quality.
Good design and quality materials. Poor construction quality.
The first time that I sat on my stool five of the eight screws that fix the hardware to the bottom of the seat pad either came loose or just fell out completely. One of the screw heads had been striped making it difficult to put back. The four larger screws should attach to metal threaded t-nuts on the inside of the seat base but two of the t-nuts on mine were loose.
I left the screws in the t-nut and pulled them while screwing them in to get them tightened. If the t-nuts had got lost on the inside of the seat, which was a risk, then I might have had to resort to something like a piranha molly fixing. I also replaced two of the smaller screws with slightly longer thicker screws.
The result after repair is a really good seat for the price. The only remaining minor annoyance is that the base of the gas lift wobbles slightly in the centre of the clamp at the bottom of the legs but there's still a lot less wobble than with the seat I'm upgrading from.
Very comfy
Well thought out throne with a drummer in mind, it seems.
The interface between the chair and the shaft of the base is dovetailed, unlike the mapex models in that price range.
The mapex chairs without the dove tail will eventually start to rock back and forth. That is just the design of the thing. Built in obsolescence to get you to buy more products.. While you can hold this rocking back and forth off on the cheaper mapex thrones by always checking tension of the screws that interface the seat and the shaft, you are only delaying this. I am only comparign this to the lower mapex chairs in the 50 to 80 pound sterling range. The cheaper ones with the spinning spindle. That interface is designed to eventually drive you mad. Spend a bit more on a chair or get this thing.
This is a really comfortable throne with a back rest for what you are paying. The motorcycle seat is not big and huge like the mapex models ( i have both a round and motorcycle mapex throne - i did that to get a feel of what is good. I opted for a motocycle style throne with a back rest).
I have a 34 inch waiste and this thing fits me fine with a bit of room to spare. "Big guys" may get different milage. If you are a "big guy", like an aaron spears big kinda guy, then this is not the chair for you. The sitting surface is not wide enough for bigger guys. In that case the better quality mapex thrones with their huge motorcycle seat might be better.
Dont be fooled by the price. This thing hits well above its price as many have mentioned.
If you are below 5 feet 6 inches then you will probably not get much use out of this. The lifting shaft bottoms out for shorter players. I am 5 feet 9 and i am almost at the bottom already with 2 or 3 inches to spare. Meaning i dont get much use out of the lift. I do get to use it but i am very close to the bottom. I play with legs nearly parallel to the ground. Just a slight downward slope.
Overall i am really happy with what i got. Really happy.
The quality/price ratio is now leading me to explore other millenium products. I was doubtful at first but not any more. If their other products are like this in terms of quality and what you get for your money then i will most likely will splat down on other things.
If i can come back and do a long term use edit then i will.
Really good quality
Basically great bargain, you can’t get anything better at this price only one drawback is that it is a bit hard but still it is a preference
Good value for the money
Good chair but it's not made for touring.
Leave it at home or in the studio.
Best Buy
Thought of buying a throne with backrest for so long. Finally settled of this one and it was the best move ever. Its comfortable and robust. Being able to shift my weight and balance back from the drums has totally changed how I play. It's much better and I play with more confidence. I really didn't expect such a big impact. Highly recommended
Millenium DTRAB-1118 Drum Stool pneumat
Nagyon jó minőség, szuper stabil, kényelmes, de az összeszerelés kicsit komplikált!
Garbage
Do Not Buy This Throne hydraulics don’t work , seat does not feel stable in the post , the one star is because the legs are quite good , i will be looking to return asap
Mánawa drummer
Very good but one screw on the back rest keeps getting loose no matter what
Nice throne
It's a nice throne considering the price. The pneumatics are great, i just hope they will last.
Great support
For the more senior drummer,, me, this is ideal. The back support is a boon for a long gig. Very sturdy item.
If you have a back problem, buy this throne
I have a back injury and found playing with a cheap throne with no back rest and thin padding was making it impossible to enjoy playing ,I bought this throne and wow what a difference it makes ,so comfortable to sit on for hours and I lean into the back rest for extra support ,Im a big guy and this throne supports my weight perfectly ,Highly recommend ! treat yourself and your back and buy this throne .
About the drum throne
I do buy and sell from your company and since I bought this seat, no one wants to get it from me because some vital parts are made with casts and even with me, it has started braking while not used. And that is the complaints of the people.
