Millenium DTRAB-1118 Drum Stool pneumat Reviews
great chair, easy to set up and is comfy. though needs regular tightening to prevent it wobbling at the joints.
Millenium DTRAB-1118 Drum Stool pneumat
It was just what I needed and at a good price to.
Fantastic Drum Stool
We bought 3 of these to use in our rehearsal rooms. They are very robust and are used all day everyday. Really easy to adjust and very comfortable. Great value for money too.
Excellent stool
I bought this one as I'm tired of using normal not pneumatic stools. This one saved my time and effort as I always try to find the perfect position.
It is highly ergonomic, supports your back, you can play for hours and you'll notice that you need less brakes and of course the seat is so wide that can fit even big guys on it.
Its stability is awesome and the quality for the price that you pay is just hilarious!
Don't look further... just buy it! I highly recommend it!
i'm not a drummer but
Our drummer looked was very happy when experienced this Millenium DTRAB-1118 Drum Stool pneumat... Good for your back. Good ergonomic proprieties! Cant go wrong with it!
solid
Solid construction, easy to put together and dismantle.
Bit difficult to store in transit but there is not much you can do with about it. Buy with confidence. Read a review that the seat was hard. Shouldn't be a problem unless your behind is made of papadoms.
Great value for the price
This is a great seat for the price. Comfy and allows you to fine-tune the height easily.
There is no manual to assembly so think it's broken when you first assemble it because the seat just won't sit (!) properly.
Turns out you have to remove the red rubber band on top of the central column. ;)
Really comfortable. Well padded. The back is also removable!
I was worried this would be really hard and plasticy but it is actually really soft and comfortable, and quite wide too - bigger than I expected it to be, which turned out to be a good thing.
The pneumatic height adjustment is so handy as well, no more getting out the drum key to adjust the seat height.
It came in a box with 3 parts; the base, backrest and seat itself. There was no assembly instructions so I thought it was broken when I tried to mount the seat to the base and it wouldn't sit flush. Turns out you need to remove the little red rubber cap over the pneumatic mechanism on the base. Once that minor hiccup was out of the way, it was very stable and sturdy.
Overall, really happy with this.
Sturdy drum throne
After my last throne bent underneath me in the middle of a gig, I bought this one. It's easy to assemble out of the box and is rock-solid. The back rest is a nice feature during those long sets. Also it is easy to adjust up and down with the hydraulic base which means no fiddling with tubes, nuts and bolts that end up bending or breaking. Overall I would definitely recommend this stool!
Good quality stool
The stool is very well made, sturdy and well assembled. Back support and broad base makes sitting very comfortable, much better than the round ones or without back support. And not that expensive too!
Would recommend to everyone.
Millenium DTRAB-1118 Drum Stool Pneumatic
A great stool for guitar playing. Really comfortable, sturdy and was delivered very quickly.
The stool only needs a few bolts tightening to attach the base and backrest and it took five minutes from unpacking to ready to use, even though no instructions were included. You can assemble it without tools but to be sure I used a spanner along with the wing nut fixing to ensure it was bolted together strongly.
The seat pad and legs are very well built and it seems like the stool will last for years! Overall the stool is exactly what I was looking for and with the added bonus of a back rest it is comfortable for playing for a couple of hours no problem.
A great product, especially at this price point. My only slight negative is that the seat pad could be very slightly softer, but overall it's superb!
Uncomfortable
I bought this stool to gig with but ended up using it for rehearsals as it was too uncomfortable to use for a few hours gigging without being able to move about. The base is very sturdy and the pneumatic function of the stool is very smooth with a good range of control. The backrest is quite wide and offers good support however the seat base is very hard and extremely uncomfortable. Such a pity it's let down by a rock hard seat otherwise it would be a fantastic product.
Amazing Quality Stool
This stool is so comfortable, easy to adjust, with multiple positions possible. As well as having the pneumatic height adjustment (so quick and simple) the chair swivels round .Seat is a good size and you can lean back and relax between songs!!
Great stool. A small bit wobbly at times but nothing that a tightening up can't fix. The backrest is a godsend, especially for the longer gigs. My back always got very sore until I bought this. The extra support is great. Comes highly recommended.
Great Value
I bought this to help with my posture at the kit and it has helped me a lot, excellent build quality very sturdy base. The actual seat is quite hard but still comfortable overall. great value for money
Millenium Drum Throne
After five years of transporting and gigging with the Millenium Pneumatic Drum Throne, I can safely say it it still feels and looks pristine to the day it was purchased. Offering comfort and added luxury whilst playing, The Millenium Pneumatic Drum throne is ideal for the gigging musician who is looking for great support and balance. If however you are looking for more support the provided back support can be added to the bottom of the throne for added back support. The Millenium Pneumatic Drum Throne provides a wide surface area on the seat to allow for more of relaxed and stable playing position and helps with developing and maintaining a comfortable posture.
The only other improvement I would suggest would be having another option for a padded foam seat as well to compliment the leather covered seat.
But overall a fantastic, comfortable and versatile drum throne.
Pretty good guitar stool
I use this for practising guitar. There is good height adjustment which can go really low and high. Seems of really good quality but the back rest is not up to the same quality as the seat and i struggled to find a position with it that i find comfortable so have been using it with out the back rest. The seat itself can rock a wee bit but otherwise feels comfortable enough, you can get the seat down far enough to get your feet flat on the ground and your knees at 90degrees which is perfect for playing guitar.
good stool
My drummer friends advised me to be careful with the stool, because it is very important, since one sits on it for thousands of hours of practice {hopefully]. And I think I did found a good one in this. There is an instruction of mounting, whihc one should read before he/she start to mount it. There is a small plastic one has to remove from the cylinder before stuffing it up to the chair part. And there is a need o a key to straighten the bolts properly before using it [not included, but common in every household]. Great product.
Good for the price
The seat is a bit hard for sitting on for a whole gig, i now use it as a piano stool. It's solid and well built but not that confortable.
Reasonable, not great.
This isn't a very expensive seat, so don't expect top quality. However I have to say that I'm having problems when adjusting height (I do this regularly, using this as a guitar practice, and keyboard playing stool for which I set different heights), and at times the seat comes loose, which you can easily tighten again, but it's just a bit anoying and shouldn't happen. The back rest is a little loose too.
Will probably look at another stool at some point.
