Excellent

Excellent value for money and quality

Excellent produit

J'ai acheté ce produit pour tester les cables que je construisais moi-même et l'objet est remarquable. Très solide, les possibilités de cables à tester sont infinies et il est même possible de tester chaque pin séparémment.

Seul bémol est le compartiment batterie qui est un peu souple et génère une déconnection de la pile de temps en temps. Rien de dramatique.

The perfect tool for the job

The perfect studio tool, very good build quality. 10/10 would buy again!

Nifty device, but poor build quality

So if you're looking to get a bang for your buck, but don't mind build quality at all, this device is definitely for you. It definitely has enough connectivity but basically still remains just a continuity checker. So don't expect anything fancy at this price point.

The most disappointing part was actually the build quality, which held me back to actually use this product (but it wasn't that bad that I had to send it back). It was just a bit lower than my expectation (e.g. the battery compartment has to be pried open with a flat-head screwdriver). It feels very cheap as well, so I'm not too eager on using this device in a professional application, but it's fine for home use.

It has many possibilities, but maybe to many, so I find this product confusing to use.

It is built to Military Spec and is like a Tank. metal Construction.

Comes with cables for testing just about anything you will need for a gig.

Pros, VERY sturdy build

Cons..... None that I can think of.

Todella laadukkaan ja jykevän oloinen tuote jolla voi testata suurinpiirtein kaikki mahdolliset äänikaapelit jotka itselläni on käytössä. Hinta/laatusuhde on tässäkin Millenium tuotteessa kohdillaan enkä voi sanoa että löytäisin MCT-20:stä mitään moitittavaa. Annan siis täydet pisteet ja jos on tarvetta testailla kaapeleita niin voin suositella tätä kyllä muillekin.

Solid and Heavy

Extremely handy cable tester, highly recommended for anyone with a home/pro studio or anyone making their own cables, the built in continuity tester is a nice feature too.

no problems with it at all, feels sturdy and will probably break the floor if you drop it, not the other way around!

Robust and heavy duty. Does everything I need. XLR connectors are not very good - very stiff with some cables.

The battery is not very well secured and needs to be removed when not in use.

A better locking system for the battery could have been nice.

Great tester

The Millenium MCT-20 can test almost every cable that you need. I guess 9V battery is not best solution , and knob is hard to turn to switch channels , but rest of tester is very solid.

Works well as a beginners tool for cable testing. It's got a large selection of types of cables you can test by plugging them in.

The measuring tips as you can see are quite small and flimsy. But none the less work quite well

Would highly recommend investing in a higher quality cable testing tool if you're looking for a future proof product.

Incredibly useful

A must have item if you're dealing with a lot of cables as part of FoH or live performances. It's ruggedly built and can be used to test virtually any commonly used cable.

Great multipurpose cable tester

The Millenium MCT-20 can test basically any cable you desire, 3 pin XLR, 5 pin XLR etc to basically any other cable and a good price.

The biggest drawback is that it requires a 9V battery to operate and the housing this lives in is cheap and plastic compared to the rest of the cable tester which is metal, on my model the 9V battery compartment can sometimes partly fall out and needs to be pushed back in by a light jolt, which is a bit annoying,

XLR sockets too tight

Tested 5 DMX XLR cables, most got stuck with one completely stuck and not removable. Gave up testing cables after this. If sockets were more accessible would be a brilliant product. Battery case is also liable to fall out when in use

good but already lost the battery

Good build. but i already lost the batterij and the insert! if you bump it somewhere the battery jumps out. overal the tester works really good, and extra nice is the loos tester cables that you can use for all different applications.

Very handy at a Tour, Shop or TD

Come on..

Seriously, you could have at least have put in Neutrik connectors in instead of Chinese nock offs! I modified this immediately and added also some more features to it also! Now it works way better.

Millenium Cable Tester

I am always making up audio cables for various uses and this is the perfect helper. It is easy to use and understand and cannot in my opinion be faulted, it is made well and every workshop should have one. Its also certainly worth putting in your gig bag as a quick checker if leads are playing up.
