Great for this price

Use it as stand for overhead mics. Doing it's job well.

Screw on upper boom broke immediately, I use tape to keep it in place now.

Great stand for the price

Great value for the price, not a heavy duty stand, but does the job perfectly well. There are better stands out there, but much more expensive.

You Pay for What You Get

This a great budget Boom Stand, but I would recommend spending the extra to get a better quality version that just feel more solid in the areas you can adjust and tighten.

Good and economic

This is a good strong mic stand that is easy to handle and not too heavy. All nuts and fittings are well and robust designed and good assembled.

It is one of these stands that last for “ever”.

Why spend more?

I have four of these. I use them both live and in my home studio.

In the studio these microphone stands are fine for medium high work. When fully stretched they feel a bit weak. If you keep them from their maximum positions the stands are well built and easy to use.

In a live environment they hold up really well. The plastic grip on the boom pole might break, but this hasn't happened yet (I have used a set for about a year now).

Standard

Standard stand, cheap but solid. However, I wouldn’t recommend it as a stage gear.

It's "Okay" at best

Wouldn't give this one to a rock star.

Poor stability, badly threaded etc.

Good for anyone who will set this up once and hardly ever move it again. For everyone else, invest in a more expensive one for a more stable experience.

Does the job

This stand is really affordable, especially when considering it's size and length, but it also feels slightly cheap. I have a hard time trusting it with expensive and heavy microphones because of how unstable it can get when fully extended, but this can apply to most stands. The tilt/angle lock can be frustrating at times because of how tight it has to be to stay in position but this expected from a stand of this price and quality. It's also very tall which means you could use this stand to set up a fairly high drum kit overhead.

I trust this stand enough to use heavy equipment but I would not leave anything mounted once I'm done using it.

Not bad for it's price

Is not stable, quality is also not the best, but of course price is also fair. If you're looking for good or professional stand I wouldn't recommend it, but if price is your top priority, then it will do it's job. Sold mine few days after I got it and bought best K&M stand they have, even though I use stand only for guitar recordings.

I dont know

comparing to the price is perfect but the quality it's not that sold ... and sometimes the mic fall down because it's not heavy enough to stand if the mic is heavy than it

Surprisingly good

This is not an expensive stand by any means, but it is surprisingly good for what it is.

It's pretty stable even when mounted with a large diaphragm condenser mic and pop-shield, so long as the boom section is not extended too far horizontally.

They do the job

They do their job. Got one with the height adjustment already broken, other than that i don't have any complain. No mic clamp included tho
