Overhead Mic Stand

Great simple to use mic stand that reaches high to use for my overhead mics... Now with the Adam Hall SDMSB 190 Stereo Bar, I can use two mics in one place to capture the whole trap set...

Great for the price

While it is not the sturdiest of mic stands, it will do what's expected of it without any issues.

Great product for the price

Cheap and unreliable product

Got a few of these in mic bundles. Simply not worth it. Cheap make (two broke within a couple of usages). Save your money and buy better quality.

great quality for the price

Build like a tank. I use it only on my studio and works perfectly. Adjustment are very good. Well balance. Very good for travel and gig because it can turn into a small pice that fits on your backpack. Highly recommended

Great Value Boom Stand

The only issue I can see is that the central boom area is hard to tighten enough to stop things sliding up and down the stand. But it is great value and not a major issue.

You get what you pay for it's not the best stand but does the job and hasn't failed me yet.

Did not last really long

Light use and useless

Mechanism stopped working with very little use; in theory a good design, but in practice poor quality. Bought 2015 and used very little before no longer functional.

Useless

The locking screw doesn't do the job, no matter what the stand keeps folding eventually when a mic is mounted. Useless in any other than upright position.

Millenium is best value for money

I use it for a long time, no probles. If you treat it as you should be, you;ll have it for many years.We don't play football with things like that and we don't press so much the arm screw.

A mic stand for 10euro? It's a steal.

Every good rehearsal studio I've used has a rake of MS2005's and the reasons are simple:

1. They're 10euro each.

2. They do the job - Well.

3. They don't breakdown and fall apart. Unlike the keyboard player.

4. If some dope does break one, refer to reason No. 1

5. As there is no such thing as "too much musical equipment" - buy loads of them. You can always give one to the keyboard player as an emotional support animal. They won't know the difference.

Decent

The plastic broke about after a year. The boom and the mic were fairly heavy but I would expect to last more.

Good quality for the price

Adjusting the tilt can be a bit tricky. Other than that great product!

boom arm fitting is not tough

The connection where the boom arm attaches to the stand broke pretty early on for me. It is a weak design. But I still use the stand wihtout the boom arm at like that it works great.

Good Product

A good mic stand, just as described..Very adjustable and has a lot of applications

Quality/Price ratio is good

It's good for a home setup for sure.

I'm not sure it will last long, but who cares, I will buy another one if it breaks.

Bad Microphone Stand

I had to buy K&M boom arms to substitute this ones.

Not usable.

If your on a budget this is great and is pretty sturdy for gigs .

Consider spending a bit more

I use this stand about once a month to record a rapper. During recording the stand stays in place and the mic doesn't get touched as it can swing slightly from side to side. It's not a bad mic stand, but the connections seem a bit loose, despite regular tightening. It does the job, but if you're conscious of stability, maybe look at investing a little extra money into it.

Good quality - can get unstable if not taken care of

Be sure to take care of this one and don't tighten bolts too tight as it can become unstable and shaky once connections are worn down!
