Good Stand

I have had this for a week now. It is intuitive use, good for the tall person and looks decent for a cheap price.

excellent but

If you can afford it go for a KN stand. you get way you pay for with mike stands.

Get what you pay for

This isn't necessarily bad, not by a long stretch. However, it is not good either.

To begin, a couple of dodgy things that have annoyed me over the last few months of having this:

1. The swivvel that moves the mic further away from the mic, side to side, up and down, etc (useful for recording instruments and vocals while seated - this broke off after only a few months of very VERY light use, thus rendering the stand more or less useless.

2. The height-adjusting twisty bit is quite loose. This means if you put almost any downward pressure on the mic the stand will slide down toward the ground. This is frustrating if you like to put youor hands on the mic in a live setting ie: video or gig.

3. Any sound or vibrations in the ground seem to travel up and get picked up in the mic - unsure if this is only this stand or if this is a universal issue though so maybe check for yourself.

Overall, this comes as part of a package deal and for what you PAY it is fine. It does the job. Just be careful, it's not strong.

For the price it's a very good stand.

Pros - it's sturdy, has a good quality base, quite long arm, comes already built.

Cons - it seems to not be fully able to hold the weight of at2020 when it's in horizontal position

After screws are tightened, they get kind of sticky, it requires a lot of force to unscrew and move the parts.

Did not break yet, but I expect it on every movement.

Nice affordable stand

I use this for rehearsals and random gigs. Feels firm and assembly is easy. It can be folded to quite compact space. Only point of a doubt is the arm joint. It's definitely much better than the last model which was plastic and tended to break quite fast. This one still works fine, it just looks a bit sketchy. Maybe not the prettiest stand but very functional.

It'll do the job

Well, it does the job but never let your band singer twist it like he's being possessed by an ancient rock and roller devil. It will not withstand the pressure.

Other than that, I'm pretty sure it would last a lot more, doing what it was intended to: support your microphone.

Great for the money

For the price of this stand i wasn't expecting much, but it amazed me. It was pre-built so i didnt have to worry. This is quite good stability and build quality. Overall i would still choose a rode Psa1 boom arm over this.

Good value

I bought this to leave at my rehearsal room for the backing vocals, sang by the bass and guitar player. It's firm and does the job.

No brainer!

This stand is a no brainer for it's money. Definitely worth it, I have had no issues after using this for over 2 years, holds well and can be adjusted however you like.

Totally recommended.

It does its work

So far so good. It feels sturdy and the mechanics are pretty hard and reliable. great choice for budget gear.

Not the best stand out there, but in this price range, i think it's the best you can find.

works as advertised ... it's a mic stand and it holds the mic with tenacity and didn't let go of it even when the stand toppled over after a collision with my butt.

Indeed an affordable microphone stand

This product performs its functions correctly. It is a quite high microphone stand. Basically, if you set it in a position it will hold it.

But be aware that if you want to take the stand into your hands like Freddie Mercury while you are singing it will be hard enough to place it back into the position like it was before as the legs of this construction aren't static and cannot be secured. So the basic problem of this stand is that you always have to adjust it if you swayed it or moved it into another location.

Overall, it is a quite decent microphone stand for it price and if you won't move it or sway it, the stand will do its job.

A well built and sturdy microphone stand.
