Poor quality

Brakes very easy! Not good quality!

Okay for the money

OK for home studio setups or when it's not going to be set up and collapsed often. Does't look robust enough for heavy long term gigging.

Good enough for the price

it took about one year for these to completely fall apart but they were great while they lasted and to be fair I used them constantly, moving from place to place in a variety of setups.

if you're buying your first stands to record they're good enough for sure

Very satisfied with the product

We are using the product in combination with a Beringher Measuring microphone. It allows us to place the mic in any position and do measurements at all the required heights.

Highly recommended due to the very good price/features ratio.

Generally, it's not bad for the money and great for getting the job done on a budget.

No long term solution

The build quality is not the best. I have two and they have both broken at the tilter.

Long term (8yrs) Review

I need to add some balance to previous reviews of this stand. I've had mine almost a decade and yes, it is without doubt a "budget" stand. However, it's still working perfectly. Granted, this one stays in my home studio and doesn't come out on live gigs very often but, it has done club gigs and has survived being packed into a van at 2am. Yes, you probably should invest more in your main, on stage mic stand. But, if you just want one for home/studio/rehearsal room this is a very budget friendly option.

Don't expect too much (edited)

It is cheap so keep your expectations limited. I like the double mounting. You can put a tablet stand on top and your microphone. Not too stable so be careful particularly with heavy microphones (like the Elvis model) and laptops.

Recommend spending a bit more as this stand lasted maybe a year in a rehearsal room and being used maybe once a week or even less. I am now switching to K&M, Gravity and On-Stage

It's not as good as i thought it would be

It was part of a bundle (with a Behringer XM8500), and i thought that it would be a great stand.. unfortunately, its not stable. The microphone is pretty heavy and it falls down a lot.

Pro :

- Cheap

- it works

- easy to set up

- easy to fold to bring it to practice

cons :

- unstable

1 : the feet are independant for one another which makes it hard to set up and unstable, especially with a heavy microphone

2 : very light

- there is no screw to tighten the horizontal rotation of the arm.. it turns really easily, since it's, one more time, very light

But it's really good for its price

Gets the Job done

Sturdier than I expected and gets the job done. Nothing bad to say about it specially at this price point.

Cheap and cheerful Mic Stand

Great stand for quick setup when you need more stands than expected. I prefer heavier duty stands for the main donkey work but when you are travelling, just having a few of these extra in the van means you don't get caught out by a band having extra vocalists or to add an extra mic for the drummer.

Simple stand

It's a very simple stand with no much flexibility and of course not much handling capabilities. I would recomend that stand only on begginers if you really need one and being on a very tight budget.

The mechanism it has for angle adjustments it's a bit weird and it broke super easily. So you need to be super gentle using it

super handy

I love this stand, you can take it apart and use it in ways that other stands don't offer.

you can take the secondary arm off together with the mounting screw so what you left then is a straight mic stand.

They're also stable and sturdy enough for normal regular use, although not as stable as some more expensive stands.

Microphone stand of EXTREMELY low quality

The microphone does not stand upright.

Positioning is hard, when the arm is reached out and carrying a mic, it drops down because the lock of the hinge is much too weak.

The hinge broke after a few uses, on both of my stands.

What can I say. It works.

Good price but be careful.

These are more for studio and recording projects. They hold position and will last in a cared for environment. For live applications and performance, wear and tear may take them down in the long run.

A very affordable stand that is very sturdy and stable, adjustable and as far as I'm concerned for live performances is a great choice
