someone really thought about this one!

I got this as part of the SingSang Mini bunde. It is a very handy stand on which one can easily mount the MA5 speaker thanks to the screw on top.

The logic of some of the screws on this stand took a bit of getting used to but were actually quite logical.

Affordable and good

Good quality and not expensive

Worked great for the price.

Have not had any trouble with it, it holds a mic!

DOES NOT ROTATES THE ARM?

I bought 7 of these.

I knew the construction was cheap, but I opened 3 of them, and none of them rotates the arm. I'm feeling a bit stupid because I can't rotate the arm, and I don't know if it's my fault or if the products are damaged. Either way, it's the 1st stand I can't rotate, so there's something really wrong with this.

Will return all of them for sure.

DO NOT buy this.

Will Break

The joint is made of flimsy plastic and breaks easily. Because the joint has no friction pads you have to tighten his up quite a lot and run the risk of shattering the plastic. The boom does not work with any mic with any weight.

If you wish to take the boom off and use as a straight stand it is okay, however, the stand has no weight and can easily fall over when used with larger mics.

If you are looking for a mic stand that is cheap and will not shatter like this one, buy the fun generation mic stand.

Sturdy, but a little finicky

The only criticism I have is that the hinge that attaches the arm to the stand can be a little stiff out of the box. You need to be a bit rough with it to get it to move.

Other than that, it doesn't feel rickety like some cheap mic stands and it seems perfectly sturdy.

I did get this as part of a bundle with a Rode Vidomic - and the only thing is this bundle needs an adapter for the hotshoe so it sits on this stand and boom. Doesn't seem to be one in the box, and it's not like they're crazy expensive to throw into the box.

Decent

It took me awhile to set it up nicely, its not as sturdy as it should be and when i use bigger condensor mic on it, i am not so sure it wont turn over.

Works great for sm58s and its lookalike, i had this stand for 2y and its still functioning

Not heavy duty but good for the money

These won't take a lot of hard hammer, but for light use they're very good value for money

Universal & Cheap

This mic stand is much better quality than other brand cheap mic stands of the same type. Just make sure you don't overtighten things and ruin the threads or break some plastic parts. Get a feel for how tight things need to be to be perfectly stable.

It can hold two mics which is a great thing. On a certain drum setup, you can mic the snare and the rack tom using just one stand.

This stand could be very useful at a very low price and functional in the home studio if used appropriately.

Great for overhead mics

I mainly use these to hold my overhead mics above my drum kit and they do so without any trouble. I usually leave them stationary above my kit and they never seem to start to tip over or have the mic arm dip. You just have to tighten the knobs quite hard when the mics in a position you like and it works perfectly.

no problems, unless you're looking for them!

this stand is great, i use it for both standing vocal recording, as well as in a more boom-like way for recording instruments.

the only issue i've ever had with it is putting too much weight on it, but for a single microphone, it's never been an issue.

it feels sturdy enough, and all the fasterners are easily adjustable & stay tight.

A great product.

I've own a whole load of music stands for my studio and band and can say that these are of a really great quality. They are a good design and the mechanism on them is great. after pure abuse these stands are going strong. if you've got a band or need something that will stand the test of time, get one or 3 of these.

Good deal

I was very surprised and was not expecting that mic stand for such a low price will be so rigid and solid.

We use it both for vocal dynamic mics and also lardge diaphragm condenser mic and it works fine.

Prefectly serviceable. Not as sturdy as a I would have liked, but gets the job done.

Great for home recordings, but lacks stability and can be tricky to mount properly.

What's there to say? It's a low-cost mic stand! However, was perfectly acceptable for my use-case and worked perfectly without any issues. Would buy another one if required but this one is fine for now.

Good value product

Pretty much what you would expect for a cheap stand. Doesn't fall and can be regulated easily. Not sure if it would survive intense concert action over time, but is good for home use.

Quite good not bot enough

Well for this price in bundle with Shure SM58 and wires - it's almost for free, so I took it. It's OK for the first-time users but it's not so cosy if you have used K&M stuff.

reliable microphone stand

The price point is great. This stand is definitely sturdy and works well at various heights. The only issue is that the arm tends to stick if you aren't using the swivel function very often.
