Decent quality

It;s a deceent quality stand thats does its job well. I already used it on several gigs and i didnt have any problems what so ever. You cant expect anything better than this for this money!!

Tldr: Do not buy this.

Now on to the detailed review:

The stands look fine and I love the height of them. They're surprisingly well finished and weighty for the price and feels reasonably sturdy.

Where these stands completely break down is the clamping mechanism for the boom arm itself. Not only does it not clamp hard enough to carry heavy microphones or even light microphones when extended horizontally, it requires you to tighten it to such a degree that the very flimsy plastic on the inside of it completely shatters and crumbles.

I have had this happen to every single one of these stands that I've bought, and can attest that is an issue with this particular product, as I've bought other types of microphone stands and used them for the same microphones and at the same angles, and have had no trouble with those.

What saddens me most is that the other 95% of this microphone stand is actually very well made and sturdy, but this one single part of it makes it entirely unusable unless you take extensive effort to make the job it has to do easier. Which is not what you want to be thinking about when you're in the middle of working and helping artists.

If ever they make a version of this product that has a different tightening mechanism I'd be very much interested, but until then, just the one star.

Great stand that does the job

This is a great stand. It's very light, it does the job. It's inexpensive. For this price I can't make any complaints, I suppose it wouldn't take much to knock it over- but it's not going to tip over on its own.

This is a very good microphone stand. Only the stability of it is not as good as i expected.

Didn't last long

The stands were bought in a bundle with SM58s. They were used occasionally on rehearsals and didn't last long, all breaking at the pivot.

I'd say they work reasonably for the price, but should be more durable.

Bargain Price

What can I say? a sturdy mic stand that came quickly, was well packaged and easy to assemble.

Don't spend millions on the higher priced ones. This does the job and minus a little wear and tear after a few months (purely cosmetic, but if I'm to review I guess I've got to be hyper critical) then I can say no bad about it.

Keeps my condenser mics ready to go and in order.

Not Very Sturdy

These stands are very cheap and unfortunately that shows in the quality. They are not very sturdy and wobble when flat on the ground. Would recommend spending a bit more for better quality.

Great budget option

Reasonably stable, even when used with heavier microphones.

It should last a long time if you're careful with it, just don't overtighten anything.

It helps but...

This little stand is quite cheap compared the the other brands. That's why I gave it a try. It does the job well but it is not to be used extensively: it is a bit flimsy and I think manipulating it too much may damage the plastics. If your mic is a heavy one, the boom arm may gently move down during your performance. Quite annoying.

However, it is light and is easily set up. Great for house party karaoke etc...but not for pro use, on my opinion.

Average mic stand

I bought three of these mic stands. The price speaks for its self. The stands are not that good, the arent stable, the joints are plastic and they loosened up very fast. What I liked about it is, that the stand has an aditional thread which can by used for a tablet holder or something else.

If you are not limited on your budget, I would recomend buying some other and better mic stands. If you are limited buy these, they will last long enough for you to get some more money :)

Not bad

Bit flimsy but a good price, I bought about 8 of these so the price is obviously a huge benefit, definitely worth the money.

If you just need one or two i'd say go for a better quality stand but if you're bulk buying these are a great option

Yeah the centre part is plastic but what do you expect for under 10 euro? As long as you don't go mad at it like a wild animal and set it right to start off with that shouldn't be a problem. Used it for 3 long gigs now thought i'd give it a whirl at least before reviewing it. Its good i didn't expect too much when i bought it but so far so good will update my review to say how long the plastic part lasted in time but for now i'm happy.

because I lost my first one.. :)

Meets requirements

The Millenium MS-2005 is a lightweight microphone stand that does the job and meets the basic requirements. It is not heavy and therefore easy to transport and handle. However the stability therefore is not optimal. But for the price this affordable mic stand does exactly what it says it will.

Great for the price

Brilliant mic stand for the price. Used mainly for recording from guitar amps but sometimes live vocals.

Only issue I've had is when using a heavy mic it can topple when bent down to place near an amps speaker. Easy to work around but base is not weighted

Good price, but a little shoddy at times

It does the trick, but it is not the most solid construction ever seen. The adjustment screws are hard to tighten enough and the heads of of the locknut might come off, as mine did. So have some loctite on you if anything falls off. When properly adjusted, it performs without problems. Obviously at this price point one cannot complain too much.

Good value for money, very robust!

The Millenium MS-2005 Microphone stand with boom arm is the very best choice to support your microfones with easy adjustability. It has a strong build mechanisms and it can be usefull to take it to stage live performances, at home or at studio.

SUMMARY:

The Millenium MS-2005 stand is suitable for almost every situations, like holding a pair of heavy tube mics as overheads when recording a drum kit or simply hold microfones for vocals. The best thing about this stand is the different sections of it, so you can easely adjust heights. The boom can be extended out as far as it can go with mic on it and the counter balance is very strong, a good base for mic placements.

PROS:

1- Good value for money.

2- Very adjustable.

3- Can support light or heavy mics without loosing balance.

4- Good portability.

CONCLUSION:

If you want to buy a very cheap mic stand, this is the deal. Just use it with careful just like everything else and you'll never ever have one problema with it.

Does the job

I got this mic stand for my Behringer B2 Pro, which is a heavy microphone.

I record mainly acoustic guitars and vocals and the stand allows me to use my mic in various positions with stability.

This is a very good mic stand in this price range and does the job well.
