Good Stand

Most of my mic stands are Millenium, they are a reliable cheap company with good products.

It came with a little cable clip to keep cables neat. Easy to use and set up.

Try not to extend the boom out too far as the mic will make it tip over depending on size.

Will be buying more of these at this price its worth it.

Good cheap stand

I purchased this stand for a few reasons, firstly i'd never tried this brand of stand and for the price I thought I 'd try it and secondly the ability to place two mics on it, really useful and good for saving floor space. My only worry is that it isn't great at carrying heavier loads so be carful what you place on it.

great value mike stand

i wanted to get a mike stand that would hold the mike at heights suitable for recording acoustic guitar and for use by a singer.

This is to be used in my home studio or jamming sessions.

I wanted a mike stand but being on a tight budget i wasn't hopeful of getting anything good. I was surprised at how well made this stand actually is, its got plenty of adjustment for both height and boom adjustment. It's pretty light but at the same time it's very sturdy. For the price of these stands you can't go wrong i would certainly buy another as for value for money there 5*.

Buy One

Good quality and excellent value. Sturdy. Not much else to say really!

I got two years of constant use out of it before it failed. I can replace the failed component for less than £5. I have since replaced the stand with the same unit.

Good to begin with but lose tightness quite quickly then broke.

A bargain, pure and simple

Not the best or strongest stand in the world, but just look at the price. Does what it says on the tin, and better than anyone could expect at this price point. Home or occasional use is what it is meant for, and it does that impeccably. I wouldn't take it on the road, but it's not designed or priced for that duty.

Quality for pennies

If your looking for a quality stand on the cheap look no further. Very sturdy, made from quality materials and is more than strong enough to hold up a heavy mic. Very impressed.

Excellent for the Studio

These stands are cheap, this is a good thing. They are great for holding your microphone up in the studio, but I would worry a bit about taking them out and using them a lot live. They feel like they would break quite easily under constant folding, unfolding and putting away. As such I haven't used them much for that.

I have a pair of them, one for distance and one for near field on acoustic guitars. They hold position really well, and the adjustment wheels are stable and easy to alter in a rush. I did pinch my finger in one once, but I do that a lot anyway.

If you are after a cheap stand and aren't that bothered about longevity, then go for it, but if you need one to stand up to heavy gigging or an over enthusiastic vocalist chucking it about you might want to spend a bit more.

Very high quality stand!

I was really impressed with the quality and build of this stand. It was more surprising to see that the stand was so reasonably priced. The superior build quality ensures a long lasting performance.

Buy 2 for the price

As a professional nationwide gigging musician, reliability is of utmost importance when choosing any equipment.

This millennium mic stands price worried me, as nothing that cheap could be sturdy enough for me needs. However I was proved very wrong, It is extremely study and will definitely last a long time with a little care to packing it. The metal bar that tightens the top half of the stand is extremely useful for quick height adjustments mid singing and is not found on any stand in a similar price range. While the legs of the stand have lost some stability due to cheap plastic, it doesn't seem like anything that will effect the stand before many months of intensive gigging and transport.

I will definitely look into buying more of this model, can not argue with the price or build

Bargain Mic stand

These stands are probably the cheapest available online.

Ideal for spares, or if your just starting out, they do what you would expect - hold mics! As long as your not plonking something super-heavy on the end, I would use over and over again.

Not the best Stand

Not the worst I have had, but unusable on stage for a lead singer. For starters, it stands about 3-4 degrees off center. Very noticeably crooked. It is stable, and the materials are of good quality for an inexpensive stand. But not good enough if you use your stand as a stage prop like I do.

This tripod is very functional, greatly appreciated his features, no doubt surprised me the positive. Very cheap and very good at the same time. I recommend everybody who buy it. I was pleased

Great light weight stand

Don't let the low price put you off! These mic stands are ideal for me as I have a mobile recording unit and need light weight stands for ease of carrying.

Quality is great for my purpose in a studio environment, but they probably wouldn't last very long in a live / stage setting.

Have had a few minor problems with the stands (locking/adjustment mechanism for boom not working), but these things are such a low price I just recycled them and threw away the bits I didn't need anymore.

Great value

A very good quality mic stand for under €10. Far better than some of the rubbish you can get elsewhere for the same price. Buy it.

Mic stand

It held the mic. Didn't fall over. Aesthetically it is not the best looking mic stand on the market but it does the job. Good value

Ok

This stand is ok but isn't really strong enough for the road. It came apart quite quickly, first of all the arm bolt came off and I had to use a long screw instead. It's very light, and any knocks would make it crumble. I retired it to the studio and it works fine there. I ended buying hercules mic stands, much more expensive but worth it for long term use.

Get the next model up

These won't last you any real length of time. The swivel joint is plastic, if you tighten it enough to hold a heavy mic, you'll possibly break the joint (this happened to me) I bought two when I started out, I wouldn't dare put a condenser microphone on one. I use them for holding up blankets now, and they're fairly wobbly at that.

The Millenium MS-2003 costs less than ?5 more, none of mine have ever failed me.

A lightweight stand, for lightweight work.

Strong enough for most mic's, home studio and location work.

Easily adjustable to seated, standing and overhead recording.

As expected it is not robust enough for heavy-duty work or extended touring. But strong enough for those jobs where you have more than enough to carry as it is. With care it should give good service for many years.

Good stand.

I bought this mic stand 5 months ago, and it has served me very well so far. The height adjusting mechanisms are well thought out, and you can fix the boom arm's length and angle position with one screw. There are also two points to attach microphones; on the end of the boom arm, and at the top of the main stand.

My only criticism is that the boom adjusting/ tightening mechanism is made out of cheap brittle plastic; this may crack or break if you tighten the boom with a lot of force. It comes with a smaller screw attachment, incase you have a large or small mic holder.
