very good

Lightweight and very portable. This Mic stand is durable and does exactly what it says on the tin. Being a touring Beatles tribute band, build quality is important to us and the Millennium MS-2005 compliments our existing gear beautifully.

It holds a microphone like no other microphone stand I have ever seen. Place the microphone in and boom! It is there and ready to use any time any place!

It?s fully adjustable so it doesn?t matter if you are tall, small or medium. The Microphone will always be at the optimal height!

It fits into our gear bag in a way I find hard to describe. It fits so well! It makes me smile!

Simple Stand

This is a relatively light but robust stand. I've been gigging it for over two years now (at least 4 gigs per week) and NOTHING has broken on it. It handles very well and very simply. One handy levered screw to adjust the length and the angle of the boom shaft. One screw to adjust the legs. The legs are still as tight to fold in and out as when I got it. I'm very happy about that. There's a height adjuster for the straight shaft that I never need to adjust because I can achieve perfect height from the boom adjuster. There's also a mic holder screw atop the straight adjustable shaft. Handy for an instrument mic if you need one. The only adjustment I made to the stand was to glue on the rubber feet on to prevent them coming off and getting lost. You'll have to do this for most mic stands anyway.

A decent stand

I bought this stand as a quick fix because i had broken my main stand. I was very impressed with it. I have been using it on a very frequent basis and it is still in great shape. I have been transporting it around a lot and its still working perfectly. I didnt expect it to be so well built. There is a good weight to it and can withstand a lot of abuse. The plastic hinge mechanism was a big worry for me but it still works perfectly. I have been using different mic clips on it and they all fit snugly on top of it

For the price it is fantastic. I would recommend to anyone, especially if youre on a budget.

not the best one could find

I guess for the money it is good. One can add another arm, but I seriously doubt it would hold anything. I am using it for placing mics in the front of guitar speakers, and for that they are perfect. If you have a heavy mic and want to imitate David Lee Roth, forget about it.

This stand has a great price, easy positioning system and good height. Not suitable for heavy mics on long horizontal boom. They take minimal space when folded.

These stands are awesome to have a lot of spare stands for a small price, and the parts are easy changeable, but they are not suitable for hard conditions.

3 year guarantee, so when it goes wrong, you at least get a new one.

A good budget mic stand

This does precisely what you want it to do, it holds a mic in a stable position. The screw adapters mean that almost any mic fitting can be screwed onto it and the adjustment mechanisms are smooth and easy to use.

The spread of the feet means that only the clumsiest of 'rockstars' are ever going to knock it over.

It is lightweight and folds down very well for transport. Almost to the point where you'll lose it in the back of a dark tour van at a gig. At these prices though you can afford to buy two or three. Good value for money in my opinion.

Okay for the Money

For us this stand just does the job, its stability is okay, never fell over or something. We didnt use the overhead arm though, for that i would maybe invest a bit more.

A no frills tool for the pro musician

This is your simple microphone stand, nothing more, nothing less. It folds down to a compact profile allowing you to carry it easily to and from gigs. Highly adjustable - I can't think of a situation where you would need something more, especially if you take its price into consideration. "Brand" stands cost at least three times more and I don't believe they offer three times the quality. Perfect for the small studio or the gigging musician who needs equipment that will deliver, won't let them down and won't cost a fortune. As far as durability is concerned I've had for a bit more than two months and it has already outlasted my previous one which cost two times more and disintegrated when an audience member bumped it at a gig.

Fine

I needed a cheap extra mic stand and this seems to be doing the job. It won't get used a lot but so far, when I HAVE used it, it's been fine. It's light, easy to set up, doesn't weight a ton and doesn't fall over. So that's ok by me.

Geht so - Nichts für die Ewigkeit

You get what you pay. Also wer was hochwertiges möchte muss eher so in die Preiskategorie 50 € gehen. Aber zum homerecorden und gelegentlichen Live-Einsatz passt das Teil. Zum Touren ist das nix. Da würde das Ding wahrscheinlich nach 1,5 Wochen die ersten Schrauben/Teile verlieren.

A nicely priced microphone stand.

This microphone stand will suit anyone who isn't looking to splash out loads of cash on a fancy stand.

It is nice and stable, locks the positions well, and is lightweight yet durable.

I have not used it much, and only in studio conditions, but it has always retained it's position fine and has never needed tightening excessively.

It has a decent build quality and is not too heavy but doesn't feel so light that it feels tacky or cheap.

A very nice stand for the price and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who needs a decent stand for studio/rehearsal/gigging use. It will do it's job fine.

I bought a few of these to try them out as the price was really good. delivery was quick as always and they arrived in perfect condition. the issues with these stands are as follows the adjustable boom part of the stand doesn't last long before it starts to slip or fall with the weight of the mic. pay the extra few quid folks and buy a better stand

Pretty much perfect!

Ordered the mic stand, and it came very quickly and in good shape! I couldn

t imagine what else you would need from a mic stand, as I'm a home musician so it suits my setup just fine (isn't carried around many places) but even if I took it to my community hall for them to use it would be suitable for that kind of thing too!

It's very well constructed and sturdy, and can extend to a very high length. Holds the mic firmly in place, the adjustable lever things also tightly keep things in place, and the rubber caps for the feet are stuck on (which I like). Seriously good value for money.

The only thing you may require is to adjust the mic head angle, which on this product you cant. Also, when the mic is extended outwards you can knock it over a little bit easier as the base of the stand isn't long enough to prevent that. Absolutely no problem though in normal use.

Cheap, does what you could expect at this pricepoint

Bought two of these for drum recording sessions for overhead mics while my money was tight. Did the job, didn't trip over when positioned carefully. Although, their boom-arms can't be tightened properly without major fractures in plastic.

I recommend to buy something more reliable if you are going to use full length of these and you're not interested in making your own "designs" to keep them in shape in such use.

Decent stand for light to moderate use

I bought my Millenium MS-2005 to use in my home studio. It's doing a great job. I wouldn't recommend it for heavy gigging, but for the occasional live show or studio use, this is ideal. Just remember to loosen the grips before you move the boom around so you don't damage the mechanism. The boom stays in place, even with a sizeable condenser mic attached, which was a pleasant surprise!

Excellent price, decent quality

If you need a mic stand this is a decent buy. If you need many, you can still afford them if you buy this model!

Don't expect it to be heavy, sturdy, rugged or to last through periods of intense handling. Don't bring it on the road while touring. But definitely put it in a rehearsal space or a small studio!

I have many mic stands, some expensive, some cheap. Some old, some new. This one does not stand out quality wise, and will probably break before some of the others. But because of its low price I can afford more things for my setup!

Good Value for Money

My band have been using one of these for a few weeks now and have just ordered another. In case, we remove the boom and use just the lower stand section as stands for the Behringer B205D powered monitors (excellent by the way).

They aren't as heavily constructed as some premium brands but at the price there are no complaints. If looked after and not abused, they will last just fine.

Friction of the boom lock is quite acceptable and stability is OK. The lightweight means that you can put three or four in a carry bag and not struggle carrying them into the gig.
