Good metal mic stand for nearly nothing!

I've used this with many different weight mics, and it works like a champ.

The legs are quite small though, so if you have it as high as you can (about 2 meters) it can easily fall over if you dont place something rather heavy on top of the legs (I use a few harry potter books).

Overall its a great metal and hard plastic mic stand for home or live use,

haven't had any problems with this aside from it falling over easily if you put a heavy mic on it.

I do recommend this product to anyone who needs a cheap, durable mic stand!

This is a good little stand. It is very sturdy and has a robustness to it. It never let me down and was used very regularly. I used it for mic'ing up my amp at live gigs. I don't use it now simply as I no longer run my amp that way. Now I go the DI route.

Poor product.

It is the only product I bought from your store and not least proved adequate. Almost all the stands that I bought broke the first months without reason and without hard use. All were dissolved at the union of the two axes.

Stable item for the price...

I am a drummer and i bought these stands for my (small diaphragm) overhead mics in my studio. They looked a bit slim when i first unpacked them, but they are all metal and the quality of the small parts is decent. As i said, i will use them in my studio and they will very seldomly travel, if they ever will... I will use them indoors almost all the time, i don't need an extra heavy duty stand, so i got these for their reasonable price. They do the job for me. They stay in balance without problem and they can get high enough to use as overhead mic stands (more than 1m above my highest cymbals). The silicone foot pads tend to leave black stains if they touch the walls etc, so mind that when carrying. Lightweight and durable, recommended especially if you're on a budget...

Good for the price

I have had this mic stand since 2010, it's a great value for money stand. It will last as long as it's not abused. It's used at least 3 nights a week at gigs. The fittings have held up well, no loose nuts or bolts.

It's not as heavy duty as some other stands but it's never let me down. I've had other cheap mic stands where the threads have gone or the legs have started to fall off, but not with this.

Budget mic stand

It's small money and it's slightly flimsy if I'm being critical .you get what you pay for in this case . It works but don't kick it round...! It's fine if you need extra stands for something but I don't think it will change your life . Spend a bit more if you want something more substantial .

Cheap stand, not the best quality

For its price, it's decently stable. The middle part (circular joint) is made out of plastic, and breaks very easily, so repairs are required after very little use. Other than that, the stand is stable, and other parts of the stand hold up well and are stable even extended at max.

Even knowing the joint is going to break easily, it's still worth to buy (and prepare to fix the mid part), just because of its good price and stability.

Amazing

At the first I was looking for was any weaknesses becourse of the low price. It would be acceptable if the stand was not perfect. But the only negative thing to say is maby that its not super tight when fixing the hight and also when fixing the three leg stand. Its not a big issue though. I really like the function for the second mic. For me this is the perfect attach in my studio, and the price is surprisingly low.

I can really recomend this product.

Decent mic stand at low cost.

You get what you pay for and in this case a bit extra.

Couldn't find any other cheaper alternatives so went with this Millenium MS-2005 stand as I needed one for a microphone which was used for online communication. The microphone used was not very heavy but when the boom arm was extended the stand would begin to lose balance, but this can be solved by moving it in a different position so no worries there.

Overall a good stand for a mic and the build quality is decent as well. Seems that it could be used for in gigs and wouldn't break when taking a beating during the transport or careless handling.

Overall a good product which performs well in most circumstances.

Definitely would recommend to anyone and would buy again even if it was double the price.

Good value for money and quality -but the boom arm isn't as functional or as solid

While the main stand is perfectly adequate, the attachable boom arm is not. It attaches with a plastic (and not metal) mechanism which doesn't stay firm as it should. While I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the main stand, I would say it is well worth buying a separate all-metal attachable boom arm.

An overall good Mic Stand

For my homestudio I was looking for an affordable Microphone Stand. The Millenium MS-2005 is a good and cheap choice, if you don't expect too much. It does it's job (holding a microphone) and for a price like this it does it good.

Microphone stand

I used this stand for home recordings not with any live gigs. At least in my hands the stand was very stable and well adjustable. Only minus comes that if you would like to take out the swinging t-bar you have to break down the centre thing all together and putting it back is slightly troublesome.

broke after a few month

i just used the Millenium MS-2005 for Homrecordingstuff. Never on a stage or something. it was very hard to make the screws stable. and after a while the plastic part broke when i tried to tighten the screw. but for this ridiculous low price its totally ok.

Microfone stand for a little money

I bought this microfone stand as a cheap alternative to my more expensive ones. All in all the quality is ok but this stand is not very lasting. Mine broke after a year. But if you doesn´t touch it to much it maybe lasts longer...

Basic stand does exactly what is asked of it

If you're looking for a mic stand for studio use this will do the job and do it well. Though extremely reasonable in price, it's perhaps not rugged enough for rigorous live use due to some of the plastic parts (call it superstition on my part, the plastic components function perfectly) - I didn't buy it with live use in mind so I'm very happy anyway.

Solid mic stand

We ordered two of these after our old Millenium stands fell to bits and were happy to see the boom arm is now held in place by a much more sturdy clamp (it was this that failed on the old ones). These ones are still going strong and do exactly what you'd expect of them.

Over the years i have bought many mic stands,and this one is by far one of my favourites.The build quality is really good,which i was very surprised because of the cheap price.Its very sturdy,not too light and not too heavy.You wont be dissapointed.

simple

This might not be the fanciest product you can imagine, but it does its job, and maybe more than you could expect for that price. Putting it up and down repeatedly might be a hassle, but if you install it once - no problem. Great value for the price.
