Best Price

I use it only at home. For the home studio, frankly the price is so ridiculous that I am more than satisfied. Therefore the price / quality ratio is excellent, stable foot, 2 screw clamps, adjustable on 3 levels

Not too good quality

Poor quality plastic parts. The plastic disc broke into thousand pieces when tightening the boom screw and I didn't even use much force. I'm getting a new better quality stand next.

Good microphone stand

Good stand, not the best quality but is good enough to use, holds any microphones, that are heavy or light. Maybe a little brittle for live use in my experience, I just had to be careful with them.

Great product and highly recommended.

A purpose built unit that never fails!

After having my previous mic stand nicked after a gig and not having enough to buy the same one again, I bought this mic stand as a temporary replacement. That was 2 years ago and I'm still using it! A great buy at a great price!

Works well, a little light

I'm using this in my home studio. Works very well and is easy to adjust. But, it is a little on the light side and it's easy to move "by mistake" with an unfortunate step, for example. Good built quality otherwise.

Very nice bargain stand!

I grabbed one of these when I needed an extra mic stand - mine was looking a bit battered after a lot of gigs.

It's really solid and the hardware looks like it should last through plenty of gigs.

Very easy to adjust the height and the angle of the boom - very nice stand that for the cost is a mega bargain!

Overall... what can I say. It holds microphones, it is very stable and roadworthy. I've used it for a couple of gigs and had zero problems.

Sturdy as a rock!

I'm always questionable about buying cheaper microphone stands, but I was greatly surprised by the sturdiness, and quality build of these stands.

I got them as a quick fix, but I am now ordering more of them.

I do a lot of gigging, and sound setups for choirs and orchestras, so I need something that works well, and stays together, and these have to be the sturdiest mic stands I have ever used.

If you buy them, you won't be disappointed!

Great value

I've been using this stand occasionally for the last 3 years. One of the feet folded out slightly further than the others from new. As a result the stand is not exactly vertical when in use. I probably should have returned it but as it didn't interfere with normal use, I didn't bother.

Other than that, the stand is light, works well and the price is astonishing.

It works for a while, you get what you pay for.

It is surprisingly good for so little money but the clamps to the boom arm doesn't survive for long after any rough handling or over tightening.

Sturdy and reliable

I have a bit of experience handling mic stands, from my tenure in a local youth group. I have to say I was surprised about the quality I got for so low an investment (I should say I got this in a pack with the Shure SM58 and a 10m Sssnake cable). It's easy to mount and dismount, and stands still while in use. Although I won't abuse it much (since I got it mostly for home use), I think it would be a good buy for people who perform regularly.

Not bad for the money

I only use this at home to play in the garage with some friends. I guess it's ok for this kind of use. Never had problems with it so far, but I wouldn't trust it for some heavier use because it seems a bit fragile in the plastic parts.

Perfect

On my mic stand attached screen that absorbs background noise, which weighs 1.6 kg. At first I thought that it would not withstand the weight of this, and I will need to replace the mic stand, but I have tried to attach the screen and stand confidently stood on.

Millenium MS-2005 review

Not the greatest mic stand in the world. But it's less than a tenner. You get what you pay for. Perfect for setting up in a bedroom to just jam at home for practice. Would not last too long on the gig circut though.

A great mic stand on a budget

I got this as a part of a bundle if I'm not mistaken, but I was positively surprised by this stand and it's quality.

Alot of stands are flimsy, hard to handle and break easily, but the Millenium stuff just work. This thing was easy to adjust and setup, doesn't slip or move around and feels good to handle. Can't ask for much more! Very satisfied! If you're looking for a mic stand, this one's the one to get!

Great price, they're perfect for the job!

Cheap

The title says it all: it's a cheap stand, only buy it if you need something which you only want to use a few times.

The plasic holding the boom-arm broke after only a few usages on mine. On the other hand, the fastening system feels sturdier than those of the MS-2003

Budget Stand

I have bought two of these stands and have used them for studio and voice over work mainly. They are mostly well constructed with the exception of the rotating grip that holds the boom to the vertical arm.

This rotating part doesn't provide sufficient grip while a microphone is extend out at any distance. While trying to tighten it down the nut, which the tightening bolt screws into, the bolt was pulled out through the brittle plastic it is housed in. I have had to remove this part altogether and the stand now functions as a straight stand, but that is not the purpose for which it was intended. (ie: this is not fit for purpose.)

I didn't expect much from this stand but it delivered even less than that. If you have microphones that cost more than this stand, don't trust them to this item.

Strangely lop-sided

I bought this microphone stand a few months ago, to support a large diaphragm condenser and pop-filter. The main problem is that it is designed for live use, with dynamic microphones and the large diaphragm condenser is rather weighty, causing the stand to topple if extended too far. This is an easily solved problem, but it gets annoying when recording guitar and vocals simultaneously. Good build quality however and a sturdy feel!
