Great!

I've tried many different mic stands over the years, and I must say this one beats the similarly priced competition by a lot.

It's light, portable and stable, great for light-weight job. The additional screw comes in handy.

OK to start out with, but you'll need better

It's an OK stand, cheap and cheerful at the start. But the screw part to actually hold the boom pole in place is a bit flimsy.

After a while (couple months) it doesn't tighten as much as it used to, and then because it's made of plastic, the threads start to shred away. Eventually you can't tighten it at all and you're left with two poles and a bit of plastic.

Ended up needing a new stand after 6 months. Still could use the vertical pole as a sort of mic stand I suppose...

Excellent locking system, very light stand

The locking system is much more efficient and long lasting than the traditional grip locking. It has and incredibly light weight compared to other mic stands, which can be considered a plus for live performers carrying it around, as well as a bit of a negative aspect in terms of stability, which is not as good compared to sturdier stands.

Millenium Mic Stand

This mic stand is a well built, truly solid stand that performs very very well both live and in the studio. I am very happy with my purchase and even happier with the price.

Decent mic stand

The operation of the Boom and height are effortless and friction free. It didn't involve any complex assembly and it supports my large diaphragm condenser mic. When the boom is extended to a length the mic stand can start to get a little shaky however but it is rare that a recording or performance will need such an awkward mic placement anyway so it is not a large drawback.

All in all this mic stand acts and behaves as it should and has had no breaks or accidents yet.

A faulse economy

This mic stand is of the poorest build quality. The flimsy adjuster screws at the join between boom and stand broke within 3 months of use as in order to make it strong enough to hold the weight on a microphone I had to tighten the screws so much that the tread was soon stripped. I guess you get what you pay for.

Millenium MS-2005

A good reasonably priced boom mic stand. Always carry this around for gigs although it isn't my primary stand. Lightweight and dependabl, has seen me through many gigs. The quality value of Millenium products beats many competitors, easily.

Economy stand.

I needed a mic stand but didn't want to pay a fortune - this fitted the bill exactly - does the job. No frills. Easy to use, stable in use and doesn't droop over time. amazingly cheap too.

You get what you pay for

If its going to be sitting in your home studio these are great. For dragging to gigs etc, not so much. Its not that they fall apart but they certainly loosen up and become less stable after time. Good for the price though.

Good value mic stand

Nice quality, nice price. This was bought along with a microphone. I didn't expect great quality for the price paid, but got a pleasant surprise. While not a top quality stand, it's certainly sturdy enough for use in all but the most demanding environments. Would definitely buy again.

Cheap and cheerfull

Its sturdy, does the job well and has been for about 4 years now, worth the money!

Value for money microphone stand

Really easy to use stand - good value for money and seems to be pretty well made. Folds down fairly small when not in use and all the moving parts seem to be strong enough to last for a long while. Why pay a lot more when this does the job ?

Lightweight and Disappointed

Bought as part of a set, not used until recently and broke on its 2nd outing. The housing that incorporates the cross bar is a flimsy bit of plastic that was seriously not up to the job, would avoid this product if given a choice in the future.

Ultimately this was too flimsy for the job required - cheap and cheerless.

Not very well made at all

I have a few of these stands and every one of them broke within two-three months.

These are not made for gigging, the screw and plastic disc that acts as the pivot point will not take being opened and closed repeatedly.

Good stand

This is a good stand that features space for 2 mic clips. I wasn't sure how important that was until you do a big session and run out of mic stands. Not only that, it can save you from having to use 2 stands depending on the situation.

Everything works as it should, but it is a little bit flimsy. Mines are lasting, but I use it mostly in my home studio and don't abuse it. The price is very fair, though.

MS-2005

This microphone stand is much better quality than I had expected. The stand is strong and sturdy, and feels like it should last a long time. Very good value for money and I would consider buying more in the future.

Couldn't be better value

As soon as I unpacked the stand I was shocked at just how sturdy it felt, and how thick the metal 'poles' were. The package deal with this product included has helped us find what will become our 'go-to' mic stand whenever we need replacements. Why pay more when this is clearly solid, and stable?

We like to have it put to the side and stick the arm out horizontally to keep the stand out of the way, and this is where stability is a factor, however if you line it up with one of the legs it is secure.

Don't bother

Have had three of these. All broke at the same place, nut fell out at the boom join. Save you money and buy something decent.

I got this stand with the SM58 mike package. It is not the most sturdy stand I have owned but is perfectly adequate. Some of the adjusters are plastic, so will require a little care, but overall I am pleased.

Wish I had spent more

Bought this for home use, but wish I had spent more and gone with something of better quality. There are a lot of plastic components that just aren't man enough for the job. Cheep but not cheerful!
