Cheap

Quite standard in all the fields. Easy to fold up and quite easy to connect the microphone. The boom is stable enough.

In real life this is a stand that you should get if the price is important. Because the stand is really ok, it is but, it is not the best one out there. Not even close...

The stand will eventually fail you in some annoying way. Either it's going to be be the base that cracks (plastic supports for the bolts holding the legs) or it's going to be the plate that holds the boom, or the plastic cover for adjusting the height.

If you know your stand will never suffer a live rock gig then you should be just fine. I had all the above points fail me, but I still considered the stand a good purchase, so no hard feelings.

The worst mic stand

It is the worst stand I ve seen. It has a lot of plastic parts and after 3-4 uses it broke. Spent some money more and buy k&m.

Well, no surprises...

Our drummer didn't want to spend a lot for a mic tripod

we got this & no surprises, it works fine & is more than adequate just don't expect it to survive a world tour

The materials are nicely finished, it is sturdy enough for it's intended use & at this price we have no complaints at all

Not very sturdy

The clamping mechanism to hold the boom is very flimsy. I ordered three stands - already one cracked in half (the clamp is plastic) by being tightened down only slightly too much. I would not buy this kind again.

Cheap and good features

Nice stand with good price. I like feature that you can use stright stand or with boom. Also with that feature you have two adapters for microphone holder. Only minus that plastic details looks very weak. But if you not doing on stage demolition, this stand might be last some years :P

Millenium Mike Stand

It's a bit lightweight but then for the price quite acceptable. It has a second Mic mounting bracket at the halfway point which I attach an iPad to, so you have the music right where you can see it in performances.

Millenium stands are super cheap, but quality should be better.

For me - this one lasts only 2-3 years after medium usage.

This peace of gear is good for rephearsal studios.

Bargain Boom Microphone Stand

I did not expect to get so much for the money. I was looking for a stand that had the height available to put the Zoom H2N diirectly above my Drums (at Ceiling height). This does the trick perfectly and also has the option of mounting a second Microphone at the shoulder height.

I don't think it would take a very heavy Microphone well as there are no real counterbalances and no dicast base.

The point is, this works perfectly for my Zoom H2N without spending a lot of money. This left enough for me to buy the Zoom Microphone Adapter Millenium SG-2 that sits on top. A great combination at a great price.

Do not buy!

Don't buy this stand. Pay a little more for one with a different hinge/joint design. The boom arm joint is hopeless and will last only a couple of weeks. I have 6 broken ones of these in the attic for parts.

Its okay for the asking price

Bought a couple of these mic stands for use in a small home studio - I find they fall over easy and can be finicky - i Place a small sandbag on one of the legs and its sorted - for the money you cant really complain!

Great stand for under a tenner.

You can't beat the value on these. We got two and used them daily on shoots for a couple of years - til they broke (everything has a shelf-life), and now we've ordered 2 more. As I said, great value for under a tenner.

Good value

It's a cheap stand, ideal for the home studio. Maybe not up to the rigours of a busy pro studio though!

It's light, yet pretty stable, and it's easy to adjust the height.

Absolute bargain

I was worried my budget would cause me to purchase a cheap quality mic stand, so far though this has been an excellent stand. It holds my mic steady, can be adjusted easily and feels like it will last me quite a while.

Amazing Value

I can't believe that this product can be manufactured for this price, never mind being sold with some profit for the retailer.

I have no experience of other microphone stands, so I have nothing to compare against, but as a first time user, I am delighted with it. It is easily adjustable.

It stands and it holds a microphone. What more can you ask from a microphone stand?

Nice mike stand with extra mount

Nice sturdy boom stand at a competitive price.

The feature standing(!) out is the possibility to mount a second mike behind the locking screw makes this really useful in certain occasions.

I mike my acoustic guitar with two mikes and this stand makes it much easier and effective.

Highly recommended.

pretty average stand, it has a good sturdy base so it is nice and stable, but the boom has a tendency to fall on mine no matter how tight we make it, but its ok if you just don't put it at much of an angle, at the end of the day it is a cheap mic stand which fulfils all we need it to do for acoustic nights in our students union and i would buy more if ours broke.

Cheap and Cheerful

Bought loads of these as a general use stand when running the sound and light at rallies, festivals etc. Used for vocal mics, cab mics, o/h drum mics with no problems. The main drawback is the boom clamp breaks easily if overtightened, but at this price just chuck it and replace.

Not for heavy use.

In a live setting I doubt this stand would handle much abuse, but for a small studio or careful users it does the job. I've used it for mics ranging from light to heavy and it remains in place.

Stands are one area where you get what you pay for, so don't scrimp if your performers / clients think they're a rock god. Mic stands break easily, but (for me at least) this one is still going strong.

worthless

The plastic joint between the booms fell apart the first time I moved it! It is waysted money to buy it, and you can't even buy the joint as a spare part. Rubbish!!!

Good Quality at a reasonable price

Great for home or studio use. It's a bit lightweight for life on the road though. For holding a mike off the floor and keeping your guitar away from the stand it's really good.
