This Microphone stand came with my Sennheiser E945, quality is as expected, not brilliant, adjustment is poor but I suppose it does the job, but fortunately I didn't really need it.

Cheap Stand but has issues

These stands seem good quality at first and are stable for most applications. The Boom adjusting mechanism is broken easily if tightened too much. There is a steel nut moulded into a plastic frame which comes away easily and makes the adjuster useless. I'm sure Millennium can re-look at this.

Decent stand, but ugly

There are only two things I could say about this stand that I don't like. The joint between the boom and stand is ugly, if stable and easy to manipulate. The legs on the base don't easy fold out completely (I only managed to get one out completely at the last gig) so the thing sits at a slightly funny angle.

It's not going to fall anytime soon – it's basically vertical, but it's enough to annoy me. Other than that, the joins and knobs are all very stable, it's a well-made piece of kit and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the rest.

Good for studio use

It's a very versatile stand, it can handle 2 microphones at the same time. I can mic 2 speakes of a 4x12" cab at the same time.

It looks and feels a bit fragile, but for light studio use is just fine.

You get what you pay for...

Not the worst mic stand for the money but I would only recommend this for home or practice use. Wouldn't be durable enough to take out on the road long term. Save up and get something more mid market.. Depends really on your requirements..

just works

Here you have a folding microphone stand AND a boom arm. They can be separated easily, and all of the points of articulation seem firm. A satisfying purchase since it plays its role in a way that does not steal my attention from other more technical nightmares in the studio. This is just day one, maybe it will leap phases into a plasma next week, but so far it appears to be a solid.

Good if you are on a Budget

I bought two of these Microphone Stands around 6 months ago. I didn't have a big budget and bought them primarily for use in the house for small scale recording, usually just a guitar and vocal. When I received these in the post they were exactly what I expected, which is far from a bad thing! They feel reasonably well made and are perfect for if you aren't going to use them to death. I would recommend getting more robust stands if you were going to use them for heavy gigging. I have only two things that I could say were real cons about buying these stands. The first is that when you twist the handle that controls the boom section it moves it both up and down and in and out, this is not an issue most of the time however can become a problem when trying to be very accurate in positioning of microphones. The other minor issue is the weight of mic it can hold stable, if using a reasonably heavy large diaphragm condenser the stand is not cable at holding it in place if the boom is far forward.

However as a spare or minimum use stand this works fine and is an absolute bargain!

The boom clamp on this stand is famously weak, and does not respond well to even infrequent adjusting, and will lose grip on the boom after a time and eventually break. A pity, since the rest of the stand cannot be flawed for this price bracket.

It holds a mic

I paid £20 for a behringer mic, a 5m xlr cable and this stand so really can't complain. It's not as flimsy as I expected it to be, but wouldn't survive a tour. Would suit a school or village hall. Not suitable for rock bands!

Boom stand bought as part of a package.

Stable and well made given the budget price. No complaints and remarkable value for not a lot of money. Does the job as intended.

Not Great.

I am usually a fan of Millenium gear but I found these mic stands to be very hit and miss. I have used some and they have been great while the same model but another stand can be less sturdy and of a lower quality. However, when they are good they hold mics of all weights and sizes very well and are very durable for both live and studio work, but taking a chance of purchasing a well made stand is not highly recommended

You get what you pay for

This is a very cheap stand - for the money, it's pretty good however...

There is only one screw which holds the boom to the stand. When you loosen it, the boom can slide AND angle. Most stands have one screw for boom angle and another for boom in/out. This is an unfortunate design.

I have 2 of these - they work OK but I won't buy another one.

Absolute garbage.

I ordered 3 of these. All three were broken in under 1 month. Yes, it's easy to handle, I give it to it. But the first died when a singer set it without unscrewing the screw and it immediately destroyed the holding mechanism (a.k.a the plastic ridges that hold a rubber sheet together) and it no longer held. So I really looked after the other two but they both broke at the screw and fell into two pieces. Positive side: They can hold a relatively heavy microphone with the boom extended, even sideways. Negative side: They are absoulte garbage and your favourite microphone is going to end up falling onto the ground no matter what.

Good for the price

I've used it for three years in home recording and no parts have yet come loose, which is excellent and more than what can be said for many mic stands (even more expensive ones).

It's not fully stable and takes some tweaking to get it where you want to a lot of the time but I guess that's true even for more expensive stands.

Better to upgrade

I have had consistently bad experiences with these stands. They don't adjust well, pinch often, break easily, and tip over too much. Better to spend a little more on a Superlux or another cheap stand.

great value for money

this stand is a lot better than i thought it would be. Its heavy, and strong. Really impressed for the price.

Good quality stand

I've cut a lot of corners with mic stands/booms over the years and have usually paid the price. Not this time !

This is much cheaper than a lot of the other stands available of a similar style but, for me, it does exactly what it claims to which is >hold mics<. It's surprising how many other stands fail on this basic functionality, in all honesty.

It looks nice (for a mic stand) but the looks are definitely more function based than form/aesthetics focused. This is no problem for me, I just wanted something that works and this certainly does.

All the screw fittings work well and there are different mountings if you unscrew the supplied ones (the smaller mountings are what the larger ones fit onto so if you unscrew them you'll find them) which means this can also be used as a stand for instruments like the moog theremini.

Everything stays tight and I've had no issues yet with "mic droop" as is startlingly common with many of the other stands I've purchased in the past.

On a side note, there was a warning that came with it saying that the rubber feet may discolour certain types of flooring. I've got stone tiles on my floor and it's not done so yet, which is nice.

Great quality mic stand for the money, recommended wholeheartedly.

Light weight mic stand

I ordered this for my Superlux E205 microphone. I just needed a budget mic holder for my home studio and I am very happy with it. I don't think this could last long if used at gigs because it's very light weight and has plastic parts that doesn't last long but for a budget home studio like mine, this is just perfect. It also can be attached a second mic for an acoustic instrument like a mandoline or an acoustic guitar.

Smart Solution

I have, as many others, bought cheap stands in the past but this stand really does stand out from the rest (excuse the pun).

Solid build that feels it can handle the most heavy handed musician! But the thing that really makes this stand so special is the capacity to have to mic's attached at the same time, one atop of the upright, and the other on the boom. Perfect for mic-ing up acoustic guitars and sax's.

Great product, versatile and at a great price.

No boom

Great price however the slightest bit of over tightning you will loose the boom feature of this product as the plastic does not appear to be strong enough.
