Cheap and good features

Nice stand with good price. I like feature that you can use stright stand or with boom. Also with that feature you have two adapters for microphone holder. Only minus that plastic details looks very weak. But if you not doing on stage demolition, this stand might be last some years :P

Millenium Mike Stand

It's a bit lightweight but then for the price quite acceptable. It has a second Mic mounting bracket at the halfway point which I attach an iPad to, so you have the music right where you can see it in performances.

Bargain Boom Microphone Stand

I did not expect to get so much for the money. I was looking for a stand that had the height available to put the Zoom H2N diirectly above my Drums (at Ceiling height). This does the trick perfectly and also has the option of mounting a second Microphone at the shoulder height.

I don't think it would take a very heavy Microphone well as there are no real counterbalances and no dicast base.

The point is, this works perfectly for my Zoom H2N without spending a lot of money. This left enough for me to buy the Zoom Microphone Adapter Millenium SG-2 that sits on top. A great combination at a great price.

Not for heavy use.

In a live setting I doubt this stand would handle much abuse, but for a small studio or careful users it does the job. I've used it for mics ranging from light to heavy and it remains in place.

Stands are one area where you get what you pay for, so don't scrimp if your performers / clients think they're a rock god. Mic stands break easily, but (for me at least) this one is still going strong.

Great Stand, Great Price

I have been using a couple of these stands for over 6 years now and they still work great! They are very adjustable so can be used for most any application. The clips keep it all well in place when you have got it into the required position. and they fold up nice and small for porablility/storage. All in all some great microphone stands at a great price!

Does what it has to do.

There isn't really much that I can say about this mic stand - build quality aside a mic stand is a mic stand is a mic stand. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see how sturdy this was when it came to actual use! When I took it out of the box it looked a little less robust that I was expecting but by fears where soon laid to rest when I got it set up!

As soon as I put it into live use it became apparent that this is a well constructed, durable stand. There are no superfluous bells and whistles but it stays up, stays tight and stays in place.

Absolutely great.

millenium stand

hello. i bought this stand about over year ago and i still have it. it is good quality stand for good price is well. does not look profesional but i am happy. the colour is still black and all mechanical parts still working fine.i use this stand on the gigs ia well and never had a problem with it.

Good metal mic stand for nearly nothing!

I've used this with many different weight mics, and it works like a champ.

The legs are quite small though, so if you have it as high as you can (about 2 meters) it can easily fall over if you dont place something rather heavy on top of the legs (I use a few harry potter books).

Overall its a great metal and hard plastic mic stand for home or live use,

haven't had any problems with this aside from it falling over easily if you put a heavy mic on it.

I do recommend this product to anyone who needs a cheap, durable mic stand!

Stable item for the price...

I am a drummer and i bought these stands for my (small diaphragm) overhead mics in my studio. They looked a bit slim when i first unpacked them, but they are all metal and the quality of the small parts is decent. As i said, i will use them in my studio and they will very seldomly travel, if they ever will... I will use them indoors almost all the time, i don't need an extra heavy duty stand, so i got these for their reasonable price. They do the job for me. They stay in balance without problem and they can get high enough to use as overhead mic stands (more than 1m above my highest cymbals). The silicone foot pads tend to leave black stains if they touch the walls etc, so mind that when carrying. Lightweight and durable, recommended especially if you're on a budget...

Good for the price

I have had this mic stand since 2010, it's a great value for money stand. It will last as long as it's not abused. It's used at least 3 nights a week at gigs. The fittings have held up well, no loose nuts or bolts.

It's not as heavy duty as some other stands but it's never let me down. I've had other cheap mic stands where the threads have gone or the legs have started to fall off, but not with this.

Decent mic stand at low cost.

You get what you pay for and in this case a bit extra.

Couldn't find any other cheaper alternatives so went with this Millenium MS-2005 stand as I needed one for a microphone which was used for online communication. The microphone used was not very heavy but when the boom arm was extended the stand would begin to lose balance, but this can be solved by moving it in a different position so no worries there.

Overall a good stand for a mic and the build quality is decent as well. Seems that it could be used for in gigs and wouldn't break when taking a beating during the transport or careless handling.

Overall a good product which performs well in most circumstances.

Definitely would recommend to anyone and would buy again even if it was double the price.

An overall good Mic Stand

For my homestudio I was looking for an affordable Microphone Stand. The Millenium MS-2005 is a good and cheap choice, if you don't expect too much. It does it's job (holding a microphone) and for a price like this it does it good.

Solid mic stand

We ordered two of these after our old Millenium stands fell to bits and were happy to see the boom arm is now held in place by a much more sturdy clamp (it was this that failed on the old ones). These ones are still going strong and do exactly what you'd expect of them.

Best Price

I use it only at home. For the home studio, frankly the price is so ridiculous that I am more than satisfied. Therefore the price / quality ratio is excellent, stable foot, 2 screw clamps, adjustable on 3 levels

Good microphone stand

Good stand, not the best quality but is good enough to use, holds any microphones, that are heavy or light. Maybe a little brittle for live use in my experience, I just had to be careful with them.

Great product and highly recommended.

A purpose built unit that never fails!

After having my previous mic stand nicked after a gig and not having enough to buy the same one again, I bought this mic stand as a temporary replacement. That was 2 years ago and I'm still using it! A great buy at a great price!

Works well, a little light

I'm using this in my home studio. Works very well and is easy to adjust. But, it is a little on the light side and it's easy to move "by mistake" with an unfortunate step, for example. Good built quality otherwise.

Very nice bargain stand!

I grabbed one of these when I needed an extra mic stand - mine was looking a bit battered after a lot of gigs.

It's really solid and the hardware looks like it should last through plenty of gigs.

Very easy to adjust the height and the angle of the boom - very nice stand that for the cost is a mega bargain!

Great value

I've been using this stand occasionally for the last 3 years. One of the feet folded out slightly further than the others from new. As a result the stand is not exactly vertical when in use. I probably should have returned it but as it didn't interfere with normal use, I didn't bother.

Other than that, the stand is light, works well and the price is astonishing.
