Millenium MS 2005 4-stars Reviews
Decent, affordable mic stand that does the job
This is used at home, mostly just to - well...stand a mic.
Its winning points are that it's cheap and light, and it's reasonably reliable. I haven't had any problems with it drooping or moving unexpectedly and it looks like it could last a few years.
On the downside you get what you pay for, it's not the sturdiest and I would be hesitant to take this to say, a hardcore gig. Although I'd be hesitant to take anything to a hardcore gig.
Its mechanism is a little bit strange, albeit simplified, compared to most stands but as long as it holds it's not a problem, and so far it has.
All in all, if you just need something to hold a mic then this will last you and serve you well. But maybe don't use it for heavy, expensive and/or fragile mics out on the road.
A useful and affordable option.
Good build quality microphone stand.
Just wish the base was a bit heavier, but it's very cheap so I can't really complain.
Would recommend to a friend.
Good value for money, but...
Didn't live long unfortunately, the plastic parts are not reliable. For the short term solution - works good.
Good stand for a good price
Wouldn't expect anything more. Legs could be slightly larger.
Good Value
A good basic microphone, ideal for smaller budgets. Does the job very well for me. Would recommend.
Bom para o preço
Para o preço que é, é muito bom! Estavel e com um acabamento que não parece que irá se degradar muito cedo
Can't go wrong for price/may need to replace at some point
To be honest I think this is an amazing stand and the price tag for it is excellent. I particularly liked the fact that you can connect a mic to the top of the stand without the boom. Handy little extra. But the only thing I'd say is that it's not as stable as other stands I've used in the past but only slightly so and The plastics seem a bit cheap too. Both those things while reallly minor would make me think that it might break sometime in the distant future..maybe. But all in all it's pretty beast and works like a charm (that's a good thing)
Versatile
This thing might surprise you in a good way.
It was my first mic stand and didn't have to look for another. The fact is that I?ve been using it not too often for five years, but it always did the job.
The cool thing is that it can be used not only as a microphone stand but also for mounting a guitar holder on it. I did it and it can hold an electric guitar(3.5Kg) or an electric bass(4.5Kg).
It is true that its stability could be improved, but it never let me down.
The thing goes beyond a one mic stand as you can use it for multiple purposes or postures.
Decent Mic Stand
This mic stand is of decent quality though it lacks a bit in terms of strength and stability. Good for light microphones but if you are using something a bit heavy or if you need to have the mic at a particular odd angle it might struggle to take the weight. On the other hand, the option of attaching a second mic is a good bonus, especially for more acoustic set ups where various mics are needed.
Pros: 2nd mic option, good quality for the price
Cons: doesn't handle weight very well in odd angles
Affordable
For its price, it is a decent mic stand.
Sturdy but fragile
Has held up pretty well for now. Doesn't feel like it would take a beating but for studio use it's grand!
Great Value
I was skeptical about how this item would stand up to gigging use but it's held it's own.
I'd recommend this stand if you're on a budget.
Good
We use this for gigs, it works well for the singer but when the drummer needs a mic the clamp is not tight enough and mic boom keeps dropping, the stand is stable.
sturdy
Use:
i have a small live room, mic was used for vocals mostly
pros & cons:
it works fine, however after wear and tear they do break and lose grip on the hinge.
Very Good!
I was pleasantly surprised after buying this stand. For the price it did the job perfectly!
Pros:
Quick and easy to extend and pack away.
Perfect for band practice or jamming.
Cons:
Can become quite loos however this is easily adjusted.
All in all, there are probably better stands out there, but for the price this is perfect! very happy with the purchase!
Fit-for-purpose mic stand
Which does what it's supposed to do. Not top of the range quality, but quite adequate.
Excellent stand for the money!
These are a great, cheap stand! I've used this for hundreds of gigs and it's still going strong. Inevitably, some of the plastic knobs on the screws have been smashed through man-handling in vans, etc, but replacements are cheaply available here. The stand itself has well and truly paid for itself!
Recommended
I recommend this stand, good quality/price!
Millenium MS-2005
good portability, easy to handle, with several different types of adjustment, as the height of the main stem, and also the distance from the microphone, good stability but could have more weight in the support legs for better stability but recommend to those who need a cheap and efficient support
Decent quality
It;s a deceent quality stand thats does its job well. I already used it on several gigs and i didnt have any problems what so ever. You cant expect anything better than this for this money!!
