Do the job

Never had any problem with it, and never felt any cut down in quality. Exactly how i want. Definitely recommend them.

Good patchbay

Nice and affordable considering its Neutrik. I don't see why you'd buy a different patchbay. Very happy.

Sturdy and functional

To be able to route my signals to various channels and fx, and to be able to change gear without having to get behind my (big) mixer, I use two of these patchbays. They're extremely well built and very easy to use. It takes quite a bit of force to push in or pull out the plugs, but that's okay. It adds to the sturdy feel of the patchbay.

Top quality

And affordable patch bay. Looked long and hard at patch bays, boring though that was, and this seemed the best call. Nothing to complain about here.

solid and robust

I have a couple of these in my studio to help interface my audio interface with my analogue mixer and out board gear. I have find it to be sturdy and robust and haven't had any problems with the connections or any wear in the connectors after heavy use. it looks professional and slots straight in effortlessly. For cheap patching options this is a top bit of kit.

a good start to using patchbays

This is my first patchbay so I did not want to spend a huge some of money (I wanted to buy a cheap one, see if it helped my workflow and will then decide to upgrade or simply not use)

Its good... l like patch bays!

the price is good, it does what it is meant to (streamlines workflow in the studio), I am happy.

To consider:

The jacks feel a little cheap. It is fine for now but long term I am not sure - to be evaluated.

The way you change from normalised to half normalised is also a bit annoying. The Behringer unit has a front mounted switch to do that - so maybe also consider that unit.

Saying all of that, the product is honest and very well priced, so I am happy with it!

It does its job well

Very easy to use, the connection cradles are very good quality. Very convenient for the price. I can recommend anyone who likes it.

But looking for a more complicated patchbay look at other models. This SPP,L1 for basic connection in the studio.

Useful patchbay at a reasonable price

A good patchbay at good price.

Reason why I bought one was to split lots of different audio sources to be sent to both analog mixer and audio interface. It would have cost me quite a bit more to use Y cables instead.

Comes with stickers which are in a bit weird shape, but they're probably meant to be cut in pieces.

Unit does the job good!

Top Quality

It's a patch bay. things aren't going to get too exciting. it's not going to attract many ladies to your technological babe lair. it should however, patch audio easily, simply and at the highest quality possible... and thats exactly waht this thing does.

if you're going to bother buying a patchbay, may aswell buy a balanced one. and this one is the best.

Simple Patchbay

Great simple patchbay.

Has been very reliable, as you'd expect from the Neutrik brand.

Has all the features I want:

Fully normalisable

Balanced

Jacks front and back.

All you need is ..this lovely patchbay!

Already have two of them! Never understood how the price for such hi quality, built-like-a-tank patchbay can be so low? Whatever the trick is, a must-buy if you care about fast and comfort way of working in your studio.

Great general purpose patch bay

Was doing a studio install and there needed to be a way to easily change signal paths. I was drawn to these as they have neuter connectors. So you are pretty much guaranteed a good build and they didn't let me down. Really great price and allow balanced signal which you can switch between normal and parallel.

It really makes a simple studio setup much more flexible and being neutrik connectors means they can be easily fixed if there are any issues. I have had mine for around 2 years and its still working great! I would recommend this for anyone who wants to add flexibility to their setup.

Good action

I've used some cheaper patch bays and the jacks just seen to want to jump out of them. These neutrik patch bays feel solid, and the cables click in and feel secure.

A good cheaper alternative to Bantam patch bays.

Excellent Patchbay for the price

This is an excellent, cheap patchbay that has stopped me from having to get a torch and fiddle with a mess of wires at the back of my rack everytime I want to change the routing. However, there are few difficulties with this unit...

Although it comes pre-assembled, the earthing clips come in a separate bag so if you want your connectors earthed, you have to take the unit apart (meaning you have to unplug everything first), insert the clips in the right place, then re-align every connector so that you can get the covers back on and screw it all back together.

Each strip is set to 'half normalled' so if you want any set to 'thru', again you have to unplug everthing, take the unit apart, flip the circuit board around and then re-align everything again to get it closed.

It comes with lots of sticky strips to write on to label your routing, but this proved too small for me to write legibly on once I eventually found a pen that wrote on the plastic coated paper. Printing some labels from my computer seemed easier and a lot better solution.

Desipte these difficulties, once set up it will leave you thinking how you managed before without it. Just make sure you have enough cables to connect everything!

Short on Space? Use this.

If you are having trouble with routing all of your rackmount units in the back of your case, buy this, honestly, I bought it as a trial thinking it would probably be useless, buying this and a few short patch cables for the front was a god send, saves hours of re-routing everything in the back, a word of advice, buy twice as many patch cables for the back and you think you will need, chances are you will actually need them by time you finish patching each port into your patch bay.

A great patch bay!

I've had this for a few months now and it seems to do a great job. Very reasonable priced and seems to be high quality as I have had no issues at all. Some reviews mention that there are issues with the inputs being very tight making it hard to take the patch cable out, but I haven't found this problem at all. Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a 1/4" patch bay.

Neutrik Patchbay

I have a few of these units in my small studio. I've had no faults with any of them to date. they are very good value but obviously they require a little thought to lay out as you have to take everything apart to change a modules signal flow. Given the price this is not a problem at all. The modules require you to be pretty forceful with your jack plugs but once you get used to this the build quality is excellent. A simple product which works exactly as you would expect.
