Reliable and great sounding

Lasts forever and maintains a clear, crisp tone. Versatile and great value.

Simply the best

I've tried other brands, but I've never found any plastic heads that sound as good as Remo Ambassadors. There's a reason they've been an industry standard for 50 years!

Great drum skin.

This is a fantastic sounding and durable drum skin. I find that the coated drum skin seems to sound good for longer. I have always had great results recording drums with these skins in my studio.

Live and in the Studio top!

Very good workmanship and clear Attack with fat bass proportion make the Drumhead of my favorites. Live it is an absolute blockbuster. I use the Emperors on a TAMA drums live and in the studio.

Very well suited for rich live sound.

Remo 14" Ambassador Coated

I have a full set of this 10,12,14,14 and a 22 powerstrike. I love remo skins. This sounds amazing on the stock snare I got with my pdp m5. Great loud response but clear aswell

The industry standard.

I really liked this head on my snare drum until I tried the Evans coated G2's. Then there was no going back!

A good head that you'll need to change pretty quickly

The Remo 14" Ambassador Coated is a pretty good head for the snare drum. It does what is expected, and the sound is nice. However, it isn't very durable. If you don't mind changing your snare drum head quite often, this is a good choice, but personally I've come to use the Evans G2 head, which lasts a whole lot longer.

Every drummer should try one!

If you've never tried one of these drum heads, you're either very new to drumming, very snobbish, and/or you don't experiment often enough!!

Lovely crisp, traditional sound, feel, and look from the coating. It's a well made, durable single ply with a quality warm, defined sound that also allows the shell and reso of the snare drum to sing and be heard

Good snare head

I liked the sound of this skin. I don't have experience with other heads, but this had great responsiveness and tone. The coated skin wore quicker than I would have liked but the snare still sounded good

Remo classic

An excellent drumhead for your snare drum. This really works well in bringing out the sound of your snare for crispness and sensitivity while playing ghostnotes + fills + has been used on many recordings by bands + artists for many years. The only downside for this head is that the texture of the skin does seem to wear away after its been played for a while so that ghost notes may not sound as crisp as they were when first bought. Overall, this head is apparently the most popular snare drum head in the music industry!
