Shure SM 7 B Reviews
Great versatile mic
Amazing dynamic mic, my go to mic for years. Very nice and crisp low mid, sounds great on my vocals.
Exceptional microphone. However, its frequency response is pronounced in the low frequencies, which will require a lot of equalization in post-production to get the most out of it. So, if you need a plug and play microphone, it's probably not the best choice, unless you need it for a podcast! Although it performs better than a condenser microphone in an untreated rooms be careful because it will still be audible in the recording.
Thank you!
An excellent time-proven microphone for both studio recording and radio podcasts.
The seller of the store is constantly in touch for any questions of interest answered correctly and quickly.
Thank you!
My fav mic
I can only say good things about this mic.
The sound quality is excellent, it’s sturdy and if you don’t have sound proofing you can record with this very well, unlike with a condenser mic.
I think it’s also priced reasonably. To be honest, it’s great value for money.
Classic microphone
Quality proven by time.
Oh it's good
Slightly gain hungry but other than that, this mic exceeds it's own reputation. It sounds great, it's built great and it works great.
best mic you can buy
the build quality is superb the sound is clear never going to use anything else but the Sm7b pair this with a good mixer and your golden
Great quality mic!
Nice mic, well built, needed some EQ for a nice sound crispy sound, but overall pretty good! Sturdy and heavy, feels like could take some damage easily.
Had to return it, because it was just too big, changed it to RODE NT1
The best microphone in its category under $500.
The quality of the recording and the quality of the microphone itself have long been noted by many. From myself I will add that I use it often. For recording vocals, announcer's recitations. And in conjunction with Soyuz Louncher is not a microphone, but a fairy tale.
Brilliant Microphone
Wonderful for vocal recording. MJ used this microphone on Thriller and it becomes quite apparent when using it. Record it with a good pre-amp & compressor and you will discover a golden sound reminiscent of U87.
Best microphone on the market!
Hands down the best of the best when it comes to microphones on the marketplace. There's a reason Michael Jackson used this microphone to record his famous hit "Thriller". Great quality and fully impressed.
Industry standard
This is the only mic I need
A classic and a workhorse.
All as expected. Nothing to complain. Excellent.
Amazing dynamic microphone
I'm DJ and I'm currently studying Electronic Music Production in UK and before to buy shure sm7b I've checked it and other brands and models at the university studios and this sm7b win the challenge. I'm so happy to have it now in my studio.
So much in one mic
There is a very good reason that mic is so highly rated...
A real all-around player in the studio.
The ultimate dynamic friend.
Vocals, Drums (Snare), String instruments, Woodwinds, and so much more
Great vocal microphone
Fantastic quality microphone for recording vocals. Easy to pair with a FetHead inline preamp. I use this daily and am very happy with it!
Best you could get!
This is the best microphone you can get. And here is probably the best price you can get it.
Best dynamic mic for any application
Built like a tank and can handle any audio source from voice , drums and percussion, woodwind instruments, brass , and bass and e guitar amps. One of my most useful mic in the studio
What a mic!!
This mic is amazing! We’ll balanced and gives a tremendous sound. I have used this for a lot of vocal work but also for wind and string instruments and it does everything really well.
Definitely a must have!
Actually another review is not required, because everything was already said about this mic. Check google :)) The only remark - if somebody says this microphone is not good enough then he/she is definitely wrong! It’s an excellent mic. I really like bass filter and high mids boost option. Very convenient and helpful. Do not forget to have a preamp powerful enough to handle low gain signal or use a mic booster between the mic and your preamp.
Cheers!
