Shure SM 7 B Reviews
Great !
I have a bass voice and I'm using it for podcasts and radio. Out of the box amazing sound. Robust build.
lovely mic for a reasonable price
wanted to upgrade to a more professional microphone, and this was the best choice ever! amazing sound, easy to use and great for different styles of singing!
Don't Regret Buying This At All!
I'm still relatively new to using professional grade microphones, so don't take my review as a gospel, but this is a lovely microphone to use. I mainly use this for vocals, and as the occasional bass drum mic. My only small complaint it that its a little bit "Damp" in the sense that you will more than likely need to boost the high end in post, but other than that, this is a great purchase!
Top notch
I didn't think it's that heavy to be honest. It feels super solid and the sound is amazing as well. I'm very happy with my choice.
Best mic for the price
For a vocal mic it doesn’t get better at this price point, forget getting a cheap condenser and just get this
Amazing mic for home and studio use
Got a SM7B with a FetHead for home studio use about a year ago. I was skeptical as I've heard many mixed reviews, however, this mic is amazing. Whether it's spoken voice for voice overs, harsher vocals or something more dynamic. It's also very good for untreated rooms and DIY recording, while the build is extremely sturdy and durable.
Shure SM 7 B mic for killing the music with clean flavor
Soo this mic something that I never seen before.Sound soo clean, bass powerfull, Im just speachless..excellent for studio and making music.
Best of the best
Very happy with my Shure SM 7 B. This was exactly what I was looking for. I use it for recording classes and can get the best sound from my voice with this wonder. Highly recommended.
Pretty fit for extreme and clean vocals
It's like a standard mic for these types of vocalizing. This is my first mic and it's fair to say that I'm happy with my choice.
I use it with gain supplement of TritonAudio FetHead. The room currently is not perfect, however this mic takes a subtle snapshot of the room. I even can barely hear that. So after it's easy to fix the recordings with EQ.
Long story short. I use this mic on my album recordings.
Shure SM 7 BBest studio/podcast/Streaming mic
I ordered the Shure SM 7 B with a hope to renew and improve my audio quality for not only live streaming, video recording and discord chatting. But mostly for getting that studio quality audio. Giving me more flexibility than I ever had before. After using it for more than 6 months I can only say how happy I am with this microphone. This is and will be my main mic for a very long time. The overall build quality is amazing.
Microfone top
Muito bom , deu pra escutar direito!!!111!!!
Legendary is an understatement. This is vocal mic royalty!
Currently using a Scarlett 2i2 and a Klark Teknik CT1 with this mic. Works like a charm! Quality and build is definitely a big plus. Would definitely love to experiment with this further. So far, the only thing I've noticed as a caveat is the screw. It doesn't fasten as tightly as I would like, but that's a minor issue. My microphone stand probably just needs a bit of work.
Shure SM 7B
A brilliant microphone built like a tank long lasting and sounds excellent great at blocking out background noise or even poorly sound treating rooms. Would highly recommend
love it!
I'm using it for live broadcasting. Very nice mic and would recommend it to anyone that is serious about recording or broadcasting anything
one of the best known mics for a reason
this is my first dynamic mic, and I've had a very good experience with it so far! It's just not as clear as my previous entry-level condenser mics, but it definitely helps balance out the sound if your voice is more on the highs and mids. There's more richness in this mic, and it really depends on the voice you'll be using it on. In my case, I think it's great! Not the most balanced, crisp-sounding mic out there, but it shines with its main strengths.
Workhorse, very versatile
Great microphone. It handles any genre extremely well. From podcast/narration, to rap, to clean and distorted singing. It can also be used for guitar/bass amps. For a workhorse that will handle anything you throw at it, it's hard to go wrong with this one.
A small point of critique is that it is a quiet microphone. For recording, this is usually fine. However, if you want to use it for voice chat such as Discord, I'd recommend looking into a separate dB booster (I own a FEThead), which will sort this out.
Built like a tank!
Perfect mic for everything
This mic can do it all with a solid quality!
revered throughout the ages
Great dynamic mic for a number of applications
