Great microphone for radio

Good microphone with excellent sound quality. I use it in my radio studio

Fantastic mic

I have used this mic now for around 6 monts, Works well on vocals, both in a live setting as well as for cleaner recordings. Have used the mic on drums as well (snare and bass drum) and it works well on those instruments as well.

The sound quality of this product is exactly what you'd expect. Professional, clean and robust. So far I've just used it on Voice Over and it has performed well. I recorded a little bit of vocals through it and I can tell it will be excellent at this too. I do wish the filters were a bit easier to adjust, but I understand why they are engineered as they are. It is to prevent someone from accidentally changing the filters/roll off. I think the product is worth the price, especially if you haven't already invested in a lot of other dynamic mics.

It's amazing!

I've had this mic for 7 months now and it works amazingly, especially with the (cloud filter) I purchased with it it makes it very clean to record.

Dream mic

This was my dream mic when I got into vocals. I've had it for about a year now and can say that I am more than satisfied. This delivers so much even without a cloudlifter.

I've been using it for screaming vocals mainly.

Definitely would recommend it.

Famous Legend Microphone and sound

Use

I bought this especially for my online music lessons, singing lessons, vocal recording, and instrument recording. This a beautiful microphone. The package comes with helpful accessories especially the 2 microphone windshield. The first one is attached to the microphone which is good for singing, talking, and instruments. The second one is very good for podcasting, speaking, live streaming, etc. It gives you more intimate sound, more present especially for talking. If you are on a budget I would highly recommend this or keep this in your future purchase.

Just a piece of advice, this microphone is heavy, so make sure to but a good quality desk microphone arm/ microphone stand.

Full, rich sound. Really sturdy piece of equipment.

Needs a lot of gain. You'll need a decent pre-amp and/or a FetHead or Cloudlifter to get the signal in the vicinity of anything recordable while keeping noice low.

Pro: Very very smooth and lovely sound.

Cons: Needs decent preamp and/or inline preamp

Already knew this was a legendary mic

This mic is awesome! Generally flat frequency response so this is super easy to mold and manipulate in post. I bought this mic because my little home studio is not professionally treated so I need a mic that could thrive in this environment and still give me a quality sound!

Perfect for streaming!

I just upgraded from the RODE Procaster to this Shure SM7B and my god does it sound incredible, i run this through my GOXLR and it just sounds so crisp, i'm in love! Fast dispatch and delivery also, will be buying from these guys again, thanks!

Great microphone

Best dynamic microphones for vocal. Excellent bottom end and will not have a problem with sibilants like with cheap condenser microphones. Great for live session with all band. You will not have a lot of leaks from other instruments. All Michael's vocals on Thriller were recorded on sm7b.

I really love this microphone for vocals and guitar recordings.

I use it with Apollo sound card and the combination is awesome.
