StudioRTA Creation Station Reviews
Great table.
I use this table in my project studio. It has plenty of room for the equipment i use at the moment. Build seems solid enough though there is a little wobble when pushed back and forth. i suspect this is due more to the thick carpet and underlay under the tables castor wheels. Racks are solid and plenty of space underneath on the shelf space for desktop PC, sub speaker etc.
Very good
Great little studio desk ! It isn't really big so if you have a lot of gear this is definitely not for you, but it is otherwise very solid, very easy to build and comfortable to sit at.
The wheel brakes are not very powerful however, so even after locking them, the desk kept moving slightly.
Surprising quality
I just decided to buy this one for my home studio after I've seen the bigger version in a studio of a friend of mine and I noticed it was really solid and stable. The materials are high quality and the space is very well organized, giving place for 8x 19" racks modules, monitor boxes, laptop, a second monitor, desktop modules, soundcard, etc.. and under the main desk there's space enough for a lot of other things you might need. Cables can be placed behind the desk letting everything very clean and the wheels make you easily move the entire workstation for better plugging and unplugging cables. It's definitely worth the money!
Good choice for home studio
Totally a good option for small home studios. Plenty of space for racks and mixer however if you have big audio monitors, you might not be able to fit them properly on the desk and you should consider spare stands for them. In general, Pretty solid and stable desk.
Good studio desk
Good sturdy desk I have my midi keyboard, macbook, iMac, speakers and DJ equipment on this, this really came in handy and was easy to set up
Great studio desk
A large studio desk, that's strong & sturdy. The wheels make it useful to pull out if close to the wall to change / add cabling. Be sure to add weight in the bottom section, as if you have too much on the high monitor part, it can seem top heavy. Plenty of rack space to add your gear. Not too complicated to put together..
Great Desk
Very good for the price. I would use this desk even it wasn't for music production.
Very easy to put together.
Feels very sturdy and glides surprisingly well on it's wheels for the weight of it.
The only downside I see is that the materials used aren't of the absolute highest quality, so maybe after a few years my opinion will have changed, but for now - I highly recommend.
Excellent desk
Really well made and sturdy desk at a great price plus easy to assemble. Highly recommended. The built in rackmount system is extremely useful.
Great Desk
Really is brilliant for the price. Only thing I would improve would be some built in storage however that's just being picky as there is plenty of space incorporated into the desk!
Solid table
Its a solid and robust table if you mount it softly and gently. The holes are pretty bad drilled so I don't think its something you can disassemble that many times. Mine had two bang, one on the wood and other on the metal but im pretty sure i just had bad luck with UPS. Nethertheless if you dont care much about the looks this is a pretty solid station.
An essential element in your home studio!
Last year I set upon building a home studio in my bedroom and met with various challenges, one of which was optimizing space. I have a generously sized room but it can feel very cluttered and cramped once you start adding amps, drums, keys, speakers, and storage units which is why I was weary of buying such a desk, but I later found this to be one of my best buys.
If in a small room this is probably not what you?re looking for but in a medium or large room it?s perfect. At any given time I have my computer, widescreen tv, keyboard, drawing pads, pencils and pens, speakers, my DAC, bass amp, various boxes of cables and other bits and bobs on a desk that?s about a meter and a half wide and less than a meter in depth. This has allowed me to greatly optimize the space in my room.
One of the simplest most amazing features is its wheels. You?re able to move the desk around with ease, transporting all those possessions to wherever you deem fit. Perfect for if you want to be able to create more floor space without the hassle of scraping or lifting it up off the floor.
The assembly was straightforward and easy and the results are sturdy and firm, not a single wobble or rattle.
Overall, it?s an excellent and small investment for a great result, the largest least intrusive and most accommodating desk you?ll find.
Good bang for the buck
I purcahsed this Mid 2017 and I'm currently sat at it now almost a year later. I have no faults with it. Easy to assemble, clear instructions. The reason I put 3 stars for quality is that the wood is clearly cheap. Having my desktop on it has put several scratches into it. HOWEVER, for the price was else do you expect? It does as it should and i've had no other issues with it whatsoever. Make sure you measure you space before purchasing though because it does take up a fair amount of space!
Great Home Studio Table for the value
Its more robust and bigger than i thought wich was a good surprise.
The wood is dense and heavy, easy to set up.
But easy doesn't mean fast...so ask for another persons help to do it.
Came with some scratches but nothing serious.
So overall i'm very much happy with this purchase and recommend it to everyone who needs some sort of studio table.
Comfortable and high quality
I use this workstation/desk in my home studio. I don't use a lot of outboard gear, so what I have fits nicely in the rack-mounting system. Overall I'm very pleased with his product, the quality is exceptional! It's easy to keep it clean and the finish is flawless. I haven't seen anything similar in this price-range. If they built furniture in similar quality and for similar prices, IKEA would go bankrupt in no time :)
It me took only about 15-20 minutes to assemble it without any help.
The cable holding/routing in the back and the blockable wheels are nice additions.
The only downside is, that it might not be big enough to keep a master keyboard on it. I have quite a big one, so I keep that on a separate keyboard stand.
I can only recommend buying it if you don't have a lot of external gear and want a nicely built workstation/desk.
Bought it for my home studio project, overall good product, very well built and sturdy, nice price/quality ratio.
Work surface is large for most uses, however I planned initially to put my Behringer x32 Producer on it, and it does not really fit, unfortunately.
Lower shelf won't allow you to stretch your legs much, but it is quite a minor inconvenience.
Small rack is of good use, and speakers shelf is wide enough for well position the monitors and to put a big screen.
How to change your studio perception
Before I've been using all DIY's desks - now with this one I don't have to think - will the new 2u preamp I've bought will fit? Because it snugs perfectly in the rack in the desk.
If you want to step up your game up a notch - this is the ONLY way to go!
Sturdy and great for a 1st time home studio
Only thing it would be nice to have an under desk tray for mouse/keyboard as it's kind of cluttered once you fill the rack spaces and put a midi keyboard on the top.
Love it!
Amazing space saver; fits all my units, computers, monitors etc.
Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Pros:
Well designed and manufactured and very easy to assemble on your own.
Cons:
Only Con I have, and hence why I'm not giving 5 stars, is that the screw holes in the rack unit mounts are set too narrow (about 2 millimetres narrower than the units narrowest setting) and so I can only screw in one side. Other than that it is exactly what I needed.
NICE
really good desk for this price
Good Value, Fit for Purpose
I was looking for a workstation which was big enough for home recording purposes but not the starship enterprise helm lookalike, costing a small fortune! This does it, good amount of space for my gear (computer, mixer, audio box, monitors and a keyboard & room to spare!) and a handy 19 inch rack for effects and other rack mount items. I also have a guitar amp on the lower shelf just above ground level, it also has a cable channel at the back to keep things tidy. It's on castors so can be moved around the room if required with everything in place.
It's good quality, easy to assemble with great instructions, so no DIY nightmares, a screwdriver is all you need and an allen key which is supplied..
