Amazing recording sound for guitar

Although this mic is suggested to record drums mainly, I have to say I did not find a better sound on recording my guitar with this mic. Very clear and natural sound

Tight for live sound

Was really pleased with this mic for a live gig. Used on the hihat but I think it would suit anything that needs high end clarity or fast attack such as percussion.

Robust

It doesn't sound like a Neumann 184 but it does the Job! and it is robust like a tank!

Get what you pay for

To be honest, a disappointment... but probably fair value for the price. I would say, pay just a bit more for a better small condenser mic. It is very small and that could be handy in some tight miking situation.

The mic itself is very solid, full metal cover. Sounds perfect for acoustic guitar.

The microphone clip is very tight (small). I could hardly manage the engage with the mic. It's made of very rigid, poor quality (made in China) plastic. Once I managed to put the mic on it I never want to take it off (I'm not even sure I can without braking the clip).

Besides the clip this is a decent mic for a little money.

Mediocre, but for the price..

When comparing equipment, price / quality is always a factor.

For the money, this isn't a bad mic, but it needs alot of gain wich raises the noise floor with it as well.

If you compare it to something 10 times as expensive like a DPA mic, then it gets blown away completely and it's not even a competition. But if you're looking for soms cheap drum overheads, or a mic to record accoustic guitar on the cheap, than this is a very valid option to be considered.

It's not great, but for the money, also not bad. The build quality is descent, this mic can take a beating, and even if you manage to kill it, at this price point, it'll probably won't hurt your wallet too badly.

Huge sound without feedback

Does not sound that great but cheap

It is a quite noisy mic and the sound is very thin and not very inspiring. I would not buy more.

Thasta an amazing Mic. And the looks...the looks of the mic is like a diamond to the eyes.

better than it looks

Realy graet for hihats, i tried with brashes too (not bad) and i will try it for acoustic guitar recording as an aditional mic. The only issue is that the holder is very hard to fit (you think that will broke).

Nice mic for acoustic guitar

It's my first attempt recording an acoustic guitar as an amateur, so my opinion is worth what is worth. The mic comes with it's own case ad looks well crafted. The acoustic guitar recording - captured with a Focusrite Scarlett Solo - sounds bright and clear.

the only issue was with the mic holder, the one they sent me was too small. Not a big deal though.

Surprisingly good

Very good bang for the buck. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it for high profile studio use. But it gives a very workable sound for live applications or home recordings. Especially at this price point!

It's a littlebit more than its price:)

Not very special but better than its price suggest!

I use it for that tiny bit presence for my ride cymbal and that's what it does. I didn't want too clean and too expensive.

Once in the clamp you may not get it out lol.

I believe it can do good hihat or maybe budget overhead jobs!

Ok as a backup

Tried it on a snare in the studio and on an acoustic guitar live. Seems to have quite a delicate response. Good as an affordable backup if was needed in a catch.

i love it

Bought 4 of them to test them on an event.Used them on 2 classical guitars and the other 2 as OHs' on an acoustic drum kit. I'm very pleased by their performance ,and even the quality of the mic is pretty great.

Sounds great but has a lot of noise

I think it sounds great on the material it was made for, so hi hat and acoustic guitar, but I have noticed a bit more noise than on some other mics when you crank the pre amp gain.

Bought two of these

These are the best kept secret in the microphone world. I bought two, they?re very useful, really discreet and solidly built, they have really great sensitivity on high end frequencies.
