Just great

I haven't any experience with the box-series, but one of my friend told me, that he bought on of the priviest model like 10 years ago and he has no problem with it. So i decided to take this monitor for helping the drummer to receive the sound at the rehearsals. It's very convenient that it has possibility of laying on the ground. Quality is quite good but not the lux. But the price cover all bad sides!

Jack of all trades

We use it for vocals and keyboards. The sound is really good and volume is adequate for rehearsal. Not sure for a live situation though. The build seems good and I have 6 months now and no problem so far.

The only drawback is that you can't connect e-drums with the usual jack cable.

Floor Monitor

We play in a small band, and having this monitor has solved a LOT of on stage problems. It's not a fancy bit of kit, but it works, and it works well. easy to set up, easy to use, great on stage volume, I would buy another one tomorrow, great value product.

Good value

Works very well for our drummer, nice sound quality, but in a live situation you will most probably need (as we did) to get the matching extension speaker to get the volume up high enough. Due to the speaker impedance this monitor on its own was not loud enough as it will only put out about half of its power without the matching extension speaker which then provides the full 120W.

Great for it's price

We use it mainly for vocals when we rehearsing.

Sounds is good for money you paying ,it's really easy to hit peak ,but when it's facing at me ,i hear what come from it. But at higher volumes it's a little messy.

If you looking for some PA for your rehersals it's worth buying. But for stage performance I'm not really sure.

Overall ,this is pretty solid peace of gear if you don't want loudness.

Value for Money

the box MA series of monitor are cheap options compared to other brands but however offers a great quality end product. I have been using it with my Yamaha Edrums without any flaw. Plays very loud if you push the volume knob. Many inputs for various use. Top quality and solid :)

Value for money

Using as an e-drum monitor for a few years.This one, compared to the bigger MA150, is probably better for a small room; although the MA150 has better lows, it might be an overkill when it comes to volume and space.

Other than that, probably the only choice at this price range for an e-drum monitor.

Sounds great, top notch, used this for rehearsal as well as live shows that didn't have PA's

For the rehearsal in studio

The clarity on all frequencies is very good. But do not expect anything high volume. Ideal for average volume levels. Line input is extra nice. It is very useful to have buttons on the front panel

Great for thew price

I use two of them with my Roland V-drum set and I'm satisfied by the sound I get. It's what I need for my practice.

For deeper lows you have to buy the MA150 (but I don't really need something deeper) but they're much bigger in size. For clearer sound one has to give 3 times the money...

Cheap but now difficult to dispose of...

Quite heavy for its size. Needs weird cables to connect it. After a week or two something very heavy was rolling around in it, but it carried on working and we used it ok for about 6 gigs.

I eventually got inside it to fix the coil that had come loose from the housing (miraculously the electrics were untouched). It worked after this for about half an hour then stopped working. I could get it fixed, but I think it will be more trouble. Now have to dispose of it...

Unbeatable for this price

We bought 3 of these for our rehearsal space and are very happy about the quality, volume and frequency restitution of the wedges. For the kind of price these go for, it's quite unbeatable!

For a cost of just a gift

I bought for vocal studio work with children.

For the past year and a half use every den.Podklyuchenno to the sound card. Everything works perfectly.

Also sometimes used as an amp for acoustic guitars and digital pianos.

For a cost of just the perfect solution. I advise everyone to buy and try.

Best buy! Absolutely better than expected!

This Box is well crafted, and has a very nice number of features.

In comparison to some more expensive PA speaker it lacks in power but not in sound wich is perfect and very comfortable for a monitor.

Great for use with guitar modeler, better than the most famous speaker. Wood cabinet is a little heavier but for the use with a modeler is near perfect.

Absolutely a best buy, the only thing that's cheap is the price

Not the best

For 120W, the volume is very low. Coupled with an electronic drum kit, I have to turn the volume to 10 to be able to hear the drums if any other instruments are played.

The features are ok and the built quality seems fine. It's light and relatively easy to move.

I guess for this price, it's ok but don't expect to gig with this unless you gig in your bedroom

Good monitor!

I was searching for 2 monitors to hook in our community church for our band to hear themselves. I must this was a well aced purchsed from me. The monitor is cheap and it works like a charm. I use them for vocals monitor with some pianos and acoustic guitar on it. It responds well and it does what is says on the description. The only thing im dissapointed about is the metal case in front, one of the monitors arrived with a metal case front speaker bented i dont' know if it was the courrier's fault but other than that this is a good and valid well made monitor for the budget. I definitely reccomend it to everyone who want to use some monitors on their live sounding but doesnt want to spend a fortune on it.

Great active monitor

Great active monitor! A little big and heavy for solo or duos but ideal for bands! Massive sound, perfect use of the equalization, robust and strong material, great design. I think it's the best regarding price/quality! Very pleased with him.

Awesome monitors.

I've had the pleasure of using these monitors for about a month now and i'm very happy with my purchase. For the price they are an absolute steal. More than enough power with great sounding speakers. Using them for vocals and guitars. The only thing i don't really like about them is the EQ section.

Decent for vocals and keyboard

This item was bought to be used by university live music society for live jam sessions and band practices. It has mainly been used for keyboard and vocals.

Firstly, the build quality is great. It has been used regularly for over a year now with no issues. Overall it feels very solid and I like how the metal grille on the front of the monitor protects the speaker.

The monitor is also relatively easy to carry. It is not too heavy and can easily be carried on its side. I found this to be an advantage over the 150watt model which was too heavy to easily.

The monitor sounds good. It's not amazing but it will get the job done. Works well with keyboards and vocals. The only issue I would point out is that sometimes it was hard to hear over the rest of the band. However, this was usually fixed by altering the eq of the monitor so it would cut through the mix better.

Overall I am happy with the monitor. It's ideal for band practices. However, I do not think that it would be appropriate for gigs as it is too quiet for gigging volume. If you want a monitor for gigging I would recommend the 150watt model of this monitor.

Great monitor for any studio!

I own 2 of these and they are highly recommended. I have used for an electric drum kit, guitar, and vocals. Loud and clear every time. Currently using to provide stereo, flat speakers for a Line 6 Helix and these really provide. Suitable for most halls due to decent power! Overall highly recommended.
