Best headphones in this price range!

The headphones sound really really good!

They sit perfectly on my ears and seal well.

I wish I could use these with my own cables but they are the best in this price range

Love that it is very comfortable to wear and has a long cable, gives great sound too perfect for my bass practice.

Comfy & great sound!

I love these headphones. They are really comfortable, including the headband. They sound great to my ears & have decent isolation too.

I do wish the cable was interchangeable since this is the weak point - this is actually my 2nd pair because the cable eventually failed on the first set. I would also like to be able to swap out for a coiled cable.

Great Clarity

very good for detail listening! I went from AKG 802 to these and I am very satisfied. ideal for home studio recordings with no leaks

Been using the for 18 months now in the studio. The is really good with an honest soundscape and they are really comfortable for hours of work. Highly recommended!

The best out there for the money

Literally a coin-toss nowadays if someone on a video podcast or a youtuber is wearing these headphones or the 990s, with their characteristic grey velour pads.

Speaking of which, absolutely the most comfortable things I can sandwich my head between. I virtually get zero ear fatigue and sometimes forget they are on my head. The pads do overtime develop a shape that can lead to the seams opening. But that was after a few years of use, and new cups are cheap (and available in black!).

Only reservation is the cable, I would be thrilled if they had a non-studio oriented cable and jack. But it's fine, I bundle and bind half of the cable to a length that's comfortable, not too fussy about that.

Sound fantastic - Watch out for the Cable

Fantastic sound from these cans - used by pretty much every studio i've been to; and it shows with how decent the sound quality is. wonderfully flat and very responsive.

My only gripe would be the fact that the manufacturer didn't knot the cable before closing the headphones up - so as an avid wheely-chair user to navigate my studio, catching the cable under the wheels one day only for the cable to rip the contacts clean off the PCB inside was a moment of horror as they had become irreparable.

If you have a wheely chair or clumsy feet - i'd recommend getting the higher end beyerdynamic models with the removable / replaceable mini XLR cable to save you the heartache of breaking these fantastic headphones

Otherwise, if you're sensible and keep the cable in mind these will serve you very well.

I don't get the hype

Comfort and quality is great, though not having removable cable is bad for any headphone over 60€

Sound is not great, piercing high end even after 40+ hour burn-in time,

the frequency response is by no means flat, the low mids are very boxy, yet hollow, there's little sub information and the bass simply doesn't exist from 60 to 120Hz.

These are perfect for spotting high frequency clicks and pops, but they are so fatiguing at everything else that I could never mix or listen to music on them.

I prefer my AKGs and even Superlux headphones

Great!

Good all round. Only slight downside is that they require a specific screw jack. So if you lose that it's a bit tricky to find a replacement. Other non screw jacks do work but look ugly and feel like they're not properly engaged with the smaller jack. So don't lose the original!

good but

Pro's - good sound quality , looks nice , the , easy to adjust it to fit your ears

Cons - in my opinion the bass pretty weak and only sound good on high volum on my presonus 26c

The headphones not comfortable after using it for 1 hour to few hours without breaks after removing the headphones the upper part of my ears hurt bad the ear pads much less comfortable and the material of the pads not breathable in compare to my previous headphones

you cant remove the cable of the headphones and there no good case that comes with it

I use them and wow is every time. I really like high treble spike as I have an AMP and HQ Source so that is preference only and that adds more stage/quality in related to any other headphones.

Game changer

I was using a highly rated set of headphones for years but my mixes were really inconsistent and I couldn't work out why. User reviews convinced me to try these headphones and I have to say that the quality of my mixes has been totally transformed. The clarity and accuracy of these headphones has brought my mixes to life

Comfort

I feel pain because of the band on my head and it can be a bit annoying, it may be more comfortable for you, my head is a little big. Other than that, excellent headphones.

Great Headphones

Lasted me a long while, but will unfortunately be replaced due to being closed back and it has resulted in me shouting a lot of times while wearing.

The sound quality, and comfort are amazing. The build quality is also good, but gets one less start as the ear pads material has started to come loose.

very treble heavy

theres a lot of treble. the comfort is alright, but you cant comterbly were one cope over you ear like them50x. the quality is good but idk what thay were thinking puting the left and right wiring out of the casing.

overall good for the price but i like the m50x more.

Worth the money

Love at first sight. Very comfortable piece of gear, you wouldnt know its even on your ear/head. Soft pads, clear sound, well built. Top product!

A nice feeling when used for a limited time. Up to 1 hour for me. Nice sound. Good quality. Value for money.

Sterile. Accurate. good highs. Build seems good for now. Bass farts when EQ`d.

Its allright for moderate volume. if u wanna mix music, i think these could be perfect for you. For enjoying to music they sound increadibly flat. Through my scarlet, my headphone amp and my monitors. I have an EQ that i try to rectify the problem with. Doesnt help at all. the headphones start farting out on the bass frequency at 2`o clock at the bass dial. Had a couple of ath-m50s that i was totally satisfied with. Which is why i bought 4 of them and they all sounded superb when EQ`d. but all have broken. The m50s i recommended to my mates broke aswell all because of a single 3mm plastic piece that connects the earcup and the band.

This being said. i would rather have these headphones than any gaming or home audio related headphones out there at this price.

if u got the money and u preffer a punchy bass get something more expensive or keep replacing m50s.

if u value highs more in your music listening then these should be good value for you.

very low volume / muffled sound

I had the highest expectations of these headphones after seeing all the high star reviews. However, I have to say I´m very disappointed with them .They sound muffled and with an incredibly LOW volume . I can not use them . I hope I can get a refund
