Simply the best!

Elixir in my opinion are the best strings! Last much longer than others and have a feel that I just adore! The Nanoweb are almost just about as bright as uncoated ones, and last me 4 times longer!

Expensive but worth it

They are way more expensive than any other strings, but they do absolutely last way longer.

I sweat a lot from my hands when playing and any other strings last me less than 1 month. With Elixir i don't worry about changing strings for a long long time.

The best coated strings

If you need coated strings, like me, give these a try. The feel is nice, very durable, the sound is a bit warm, but for strat or tele is perfect.

You can't go wrong with these strings. Their price is higher, but they are not expensive. The sound better, feel better and last longer than any other brand I have used.

Great strings with extended life. My main guitar is played 3 hours a day and the strings last about 3 months. Wipe them with a clean cloth after every session. Also no finger noise because of the coating! Cons:They are a little stiffer and they sound a little darker than "normal" strings

Elixir is like the Mac.

Once you go Mac you never go back. If you ever try these strings, you'll probably also never go back for "regular" product. Very well sounding and long lasting strings.

The best string for those who have sweaty hands

I've been using these strings for a while now, and I find them very durable. Since I have very sweaty hands "normal" string usually last two weeks and these have been lasting me at least one month (when I play every weekend) or more than 3 months (when I don't play that often).

Love it!

The best strings you can get for 10 euros. Sound is awesome, with excelent sustain and brightness. Because they are coated (which will last way longer than ordinary strings), you need to get used a bit to the feel of the strings, for they could be a bit slippery at first, but I think it is just a personal thing.

From now on, these will be my first option!

Greatest sound and playability

I love Elixirs not only for their sound, but for playability - because they are coated, it prevents the greasy buildup, which turns your string into unpleasant wire.

With Elixirs your strings will stay smooth even after YEAR of use! Of course I don't recommend to use strings that long, consider it just as extreme performance test.

After trying Elixirs I can't go back to any other strings, even coated from different manufacturers.

Also I never broke an Elixir string.

The strings give a nice kinda distortion to the tone which I love, also they are durable and smooth to play

Just what I needed

Throughout the years I've tried several different string brands and every single one started rusting after 2 weeks, no matter what I did the outcome was the same. Elixirs are completely different. No rust even after 3 months of playing and still sounds "fresh". Just unbelievable how good these strings are!
