Elixir Nanoweb Light Reviews
excellent product
very nice feeling on hands, reliable set.
Perfect
I have been using them for years now. Nothing to say: I find the touch very nice and they definitely last way longer than other strings I have tried (d'addario mainly). The price difference is, in my opinion, justified.
Great strings
Crisp and clear long lasting strings!! great!!!
Top tier strings
Best strings I've ever used. Coated feeling might not be for everyone but I can't see myself moving back to any other strings in the future. Strings hold their tone for much longer than other brands.
My Standard String
Having a number of guitars that I only play occasionally these are my standard strings. The reason for this is that they keep a constant sound and feel for a ridiculously long time. They never give me any problems with rusting in the pack or on the guitar or with breaking unexpectedly. The sound is, perhaps, a little less sharp than some but it has never been a problem for me. Highly recommended
My favorite strings
I have sweaty hands, and my sweat, for some reason, seems to be very corrosive! These are the only strings that last reasonably for. Plus they're comfortable and sound good. More expensive than uncoated strings, but I think they are worth it. Never had any problem with packaging and bad strings, so quality control seems good too. Highly recommended!
pretty good
I tried these for about a year or two and I was overall satisfied. They sound good, and they last for ever!...probably the longest lasting strings I've owned.
The only thing I dont like about them is the feeling of the coating (I presume)...they feel way too slippery, many times my fingers would slide out from the string, especially during bends. I'm sure it depends on your playing style, but for me it was a reason to stop using them. But, I'd definitely recommend you to try them...especially if you want long lasting strings.
Strings are perfect, everything I need I get=)
Excellent quality and perfect sound
Great durable tone
Been using Elixir strings for years and they're the more consistent strings tonewise.
Great strings
Great sounding strings, nice playing feel! Will not go back to regular strings anymore..
The best electric guitar strings I have ever played
These strings were recommended to me by a number of people so I thought I'd try them out and it turns the hype around them is true. These are the best electric guitar strings I've played, they're a little more expensive than others but they seem to be a lot more durable so it's worth it in the long run. The sound and feel off of them is great too. Would highly recommend
really good but not for me
I mainly used these strings in my strat, which is the guitar I use the most.
I'm really satisfied with the durability and the built quality of the strings.
What i didn't really like, from my personal point of view is that the tone wasn't on my standards. I don't know why cause they are rather expensive strings.
On the other hand I'm satisfied with elixir strings in my acoustic guitar.
So It's up to personal taste in the end of the day.
Amazing strings! And they last longer than you expect
I have never had strings this good!
I use them for E-standard respectively, since I don't gig and I usually play 2 to 4 hours a day I needed a set of strings on one of my guitars that would last. I can easily go 6 months without changing and they still sound as new! If you change your strings regularly, this might be too expensive, however if you only play in one tuning and for long periods of time on a regular basis, get these!
Long lasting and amazing sounding
Some people will argue that there are better sounding strings (which there probably are, but in my semi-amateurness I can't really tell) but likely no one will argue that there are longer lasting strings. Once upon a time I changed my mom's acoustic guitar's strings to Elixir. That was 6 years ago. She's still playing that guitar with the same strings. I'm not saying they sound great at all after said 6 years, but they're there and they don't sound bad.
These however I've used for a few months and the shine and brightness (sonically speaking) is delightful. Even acoustically (on my electric guitar) I can hear the strings really well, they sing. They also feel rather good on your hands (not necessarily comparing with others, but overall). I would advise anyone who doesn't really understand a whole lot about guitar strings to use these. You'll possibly scoff at the price, given how much more expensive they are comparing to others, but it is, in my opinion, a small price to pay for premium quality.
Very good
Very good strings. Been using them a while. They do a great job at concerts, at studio and home. They look like new after 6 months of using. I do recommend.
Very good strings
I used this strings for really long time and was really satisfied with the feel, tension, sound of it...They are nice to play and I had them installed on all of my guitars. They last till the coating doesn't start to peel off (and that is really extended period of time:)) and it will change things sound and feel wise (I tried this only once as an experiment of how long does it take to......you know)... At this time I have them only on one of my guitars as I'm more into vintage type of sound, but for someone who play rearly/has aggressive body fluids, I would definitely recommend this strings...
Great strings for soft music
If you play something like jazz or funk this string will sound perfectly in your mix.
Its a little muffled but in soft styles of music i think its not bad at all.
Quality strings
I keep coming back to these strings. Even though I like the sound of some other brands better, with sweaty hands, after one session that advantage is lost. The Elixir are the only ones that keep the sound quality for a reasonable amount of time. I could say these are the best value for money strings just because they last so long
