love it

Upgraded from that little orange 1x8 cab.

Sounds so much better especially the low end.

I was afraid it might be to loud but it sounds pretty nice on low volumes too.

This is a great cab at a great price.

At the time I purchased mine, it was less expensive than I could have purchased two Celestion Vintage 30s without the cab. It's plywood, not MSD or particle board. It sounds better than my M*rsha** Origin cab. The Vintage 30s are certainly better sounding than the Seventy 80s that reside in the Origin cab.

Harley Benton G212 Vintage Vertical 2x12 Cabinet

Perfect... nothing else to add.

Amazing value for a superb speaker cabinet

This speaker cabinet sounds really, really good. It's sturdily constructed of real wood instead of wood products. It looks very classy and, most importantly, the twin Celestion speakers sound incredible.

I deducted one star from Quality because during shipping one of the small pieces of wood inside the cabinet (used for bracing) came unglued, but I was able to re-glue it after opening the cabinet.

This cabinet has gotten rave reviews on YouTube, and it's easy to understand why. I highly recommend this speaker cabinet.

Amazing value and sound for the money

Shoots way above its class in every way, great sound, money well spent, fast delivery, Harley Benton has really proved they are here to compete with the big boys with these!

Detailed sound for the price

front loaded construction, it is cheaper than two seperate v30s , so not to expect superior build quality.

Best 212 for the money bar none

If your considering a 212, save yourself the time, money, and trouble of shopping around and get this cabinet. Sounds amazing with my Blackstar HT-100 Mk-II. Fraction of the price of comparable cabs. Literally no negatives.

Bang for the buck

I play mostly metal (mostly classic Thrash), thus in my arsenal mostly high gain amps. I think V30s perfectly serve this purpose by providing mid-focused sound.

Pros:

It is very light-weighted compared to other famous cabs and you can easily move it

Celestion V30s provides nice mid push

Vertical layout takes less space

Handles 120W

Has passthrough connection. I'm not sure if it is parallel or serial.

Cons

Due to thin walls it has less resonance and lack of bass response. You need to compensate it by adjusting the amp's knobs. Usually adding more bass and cutting treble helps

Build quality is kinda lacking.

I think for this price it is a real bargain, and if you don't want to spend over $1k for MESA, it is a real choice.

Unfortunately, mine was damaged during transportation (i live in US), however the issue was handled by customer support.

Immense Tone, unreal Cost

For someone that predominantly plays Hard rock and Prog metal, I can say with confidence that this cab is the prefect third piece that completes my ultimate budget rig. A Squier Contemporary HH Active Strat, a Boss KTN-100 Head with foot switch and expression pedal, and finally this Harley Benton Vintage Verticle cab. The whole rig costs about $1200 and it sounds amazing for how little it all costs. Like Legit, I plugged in and got goosebumps, it sounded so much better than some other cabs I'd been using. A much more pronounced and prominent mid range and more controlled bass response. Perfect for playing technical and cutting through the mix. The Vintage 30's have that characteristic growl that is wonderfully unique to them. Very much so worth the investment and shipping costs.

vintage 30s enough said!

i love this 2x12 very portable and just the right size cab for my bedroom. Its part of my bedroom and sounds great with my Randall H1D1 Diavlo 1 watt amp also my Joyo Zombie even though I prefer the All Valve sound of the randall amp over the solid state. Thinking of pairing it with a Marshall DSL 20 or hit the cab with a Engl Powerball 25. Just thinking out loud and no matter what amp i pair the cab with i'm sure it will sound awesome.

Great Value Mini Cab !

These cabs are really good value, the speakers alone are something to be heard - Celestion. Its a tidy and neat mini cab, and even looks the part. Superb value.

Why pay for brand ?

It's sturdy as all hell, it's made of the same material as the big brands, same speakers as the big brands, for half the price. What's not to like ?

Great value cab

I bought this cab mainly for home use. It is compact and not too heavy. Perfect pairing for lunchbox style tube amp heads. I use it with a Peavey 6505mh and it sounds amazing. Hard to believe for this price that this cab includes genuine Celestion V30 speakers. Great sound and sturdy cabinet. I think it actually works out cheaper than if you were to buy a pair of V30s so what are you waiting for! Only negative I can say is the packaging is a bit thin so my cab received a few dings to the tolex in transit. Nothing that effects the functioning of the cabinet though.

Great cabinet

I spent some time comparison shopping cabinets...always coming back to the HB G212 Vintage Vertical. Finally ordered one in and glad I did. Nicely built 2x12 cabinet with vintage Celestion speakers. Great for home use...tolex may be a bit thin for road use, but black duct tape would keep it in the game. Currently teamed with my VHT 6 Ultra. Capable of pushing more air than I can stand in my practice space...usually used at low volumes. The price cannot be beat, especially considering the supplied speakers. Highly recommended.

Amazing for the price

Got this along with the Harley Benton Mighty 5TH as an upgrade from a 15 year old Marshall MG30 and I am very impressed. Thrown in a TC Electronics Fangs Distortion and Hall of Fame 2 hell yeah this kicks out a hell of a sound.

Only using it in my bedroom/guitar room and will be looking to record a little with it soon with more great HB products. I've had quite a lot of HB items over the years and every time they just get better and better. If you are running on a budget and want a great cab, seriously do not look any further than this.

Sounds great!

Plenty loud for the stage, the speakers sound good, light enough to not regret carrying, fits in the trunk well, and the price point is fantastic. I'd be a little concerned if you're rough with your equipment, it's not made from the toughest materials but for what it is, it's great. Totally exceeded my expectations for a cabinet of this price. Even if I did drop the thing down a flight of stairs, I'd be okay with just buying another.

I got this cab ,to use at home with my Marshall head..works great. But I've also found that it works fantastic with my Peavey Tone blaster 50. It brings out the mids, takes out the sizzle, in the highs, and gives the bottom some clean depth .Great cab... Great price ,too. Sounds a little different than my Marshall cabs, but ...I'm at home , with it too.... May take it to my next gig. I'm sure it'll do the job.

Terrific sound, screaming deal!

This little cab is dynamite! After hearing/reading about the value of Harley Benton cabs, I had to scoop one while they were in stock. ZERO regrets. Pretty lightweight for a 212 vertical, but well-made and feels solid. The cab walls aren't as thick as the horizontal 212, so there may be a bit less bass response from the V30s. But with the way this cabinet's sound fills a room, I don't feel like there's anything missing. Very impressed, I'll be trying out a Harley Benton guitar here before long!

Great sound

After a long research I decided to go for this Cab + Nutube head from Vox. I am quite happy that I did not opt for a solid state amp. Great sound quite clear. I like the handles on the side. Fits under my desk nicely.

Amazing for the price!

You really can't beat this cab for the price. It sounds great and is very sturdy and well built. I'm extremely impressed! It's great for my bedroom volume playing, but can get super loud. I don't even think I've had it cranked up to its full potential and it shook my basement. Definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a cheap cab!
